I called yesterday based on recommendations from the Nextdoor app that they were able to come out quicker than other companies and I needed someone to come out sooner rather than later. I had the bathroom floor replaced and when the company went to put the toilet back, determined that the valves attached to it were old and should be replaced (and we decided to get the ones on our pedestal sink replaced also since they were likely old as well) and it needed to be done by a professional plumbing company. I called and was quoted $163 plus parts by the woman on the phone. I told her I would call her back after I spoke to my husband. I was told to ask her if that included putting the toilet and sink back once the valves were replaced when I called back, which I did and she said yes. I asked how they know what valves to get and she said he would come by, look at them, go to the store and get the parts and come back to do the work. What I was clearly not told was that the cost was actually $163 per hour and that includes his time to and from the store plus a $28 service charge which was not mentioned at all. I appreciate that they were able to come the next day, but I do not appreciate being scammed over the phone to get my service by not disclosing their price is per hour and that's going to include however many times the plumber goes to and from the store because he needs extra parts - I had all the parts that had been on the sink for years and were working, but he determined that one of my extension pieces was too short and he needed a longer one - so I paid the extra time for that trip as well. I did ask for extra work while he was here - one of my other toilets wasn't flushing properly - I asked him if he had time and if it was an easy fix, if he could do it. We talked about price and he said it would be about 15-20 minutes extra plus parts and quoted me roughly $80-$90 extra. Now once I got the bill that was $250 more than I was expecting and I asked him how and he told me it's $163 per hour, I told him that is not what I was told over the phone. He proceeded to tell me that the receptionist had done that before. So I called the company and a man answered (I'm assuming the owner). I explained the situation and he said the woman was on speaker phone so her heard her tell me $163. Then later, after some arguing about how long the plumbers were here (because they had to go to and from the store twice) when I said I don't appreciate being scammed to get my service, he changed his story to say he heard her say $138/hr plus a $28 service charge. So now the price has changed and the service charge has been added. He then asked me if I thought they should work for free. Of course not, however, and what I told him in my response is that I expect to get an honest quote when I call. As I was explaining how they should make sure their receptionist is quoting the correct price to customers, he hung up on me. I'm sorry, but if that is not the worst customer service, then I don't know what is.

We were hit with an insanely high water bill. Superior was recommended to us and they came out that day to find the problem. Unfortunately the problem couldn’t be fixed right then and there-not their fault. We were thinking we would be without water until the new year as it was a couple days from Christmas. They got us on the schedule for the following Monday after Christmas. They were always on time, if not early. Very professional and worked efficiently.

Thomas Fant and company are FABULOUS! They were helpful, hard-working, made arrangements to come out to my home with short notice and accommodated our work schedule to get the job done! We would highly recommend them for your plumbing needs.

These guys are great. I had an issue when I just moved into my new house. Three companies give me estimates without doing too much. These guys came out and looked at the situation. They spent 2 hours at my house only to tell me that I needed to replace some of the piping. Without knowing how much the other companies estimated and what was the problem, their estimate was much lower than any other company. They even fixed another problem under my house without any additional cost. Will definitely use them again

Very quick and professional company. I called them at 10:45am for some help with bathroom issues and the crew was onsite by 12 and had the issue corrected and cleaned by 2:30pm. Will always recommend this company! Thank you for the help

Husband called owner stated hot water not coming out of faucet. Owner decided to write up a work order to replace a hot water valve without looking at the faucet or home. Techs came were at the house 15 minutes checked valves and faucet, said they would be back with parts to repair the issues. Left and were gone for over an hour came back, was there for another 15 minutes (replaced a valve that leaked only if not positioned correctly) then tells my husband, we can't fix your faucet you need to get a new one and we will install it for you... that will be $367... my husband said no have the owner call us.
No price before work, work order mailed to us not detailed, said they were at our home for 1.5 hours and the ball valve is 5$ at Lowe's. Period.
I attempted to call owner, he instead had tech call me after I spoke with him. Then they threaten us with filing in court if not paid. Called and spoke to Jill in the office, rude rude rude.

When trying to explain our biggest concern is the fact your tech didn't provide a single quote for work prior to completing it and then didn't even fix the issue we called in for and spoke about in person../ then to be so inflated on the price and time... I explained I had to go replace the faucet myself and that yes the valve would leak if not positioned correctly but that was NOT our issue when hiring them. She graciously discounted .5 hour of work and then stated "can you do me a favor... never call us again since you know how to fix everything" ... you can imagine my colorful ending before disconnecting...
Per other reviews... this is something they are known for and good at... ripping people off, replacing things that don't solve the problems and jacking the price up on the client. Maybe if they focused on being a decent customer service and skilled worker they would keep clients.

Shame on Jill, shame on the Tom and the tech... can't blame him, he is probably being Led in that direction by the leadership to act and operate that way.

The absolute worst... you can keep your half hour discount, it's insulting

Would not use Superior Plumbing again. Previously had them do replumbing of our house and service was fine. This time we had a leaking pipe where it comes into the house. First time they showed up it was raining, so they said they would have to come back the next day to be able to assess if that was where the leak was. Ok, not a problem, makes sense. Next day they randomly showed up, did not contact me, made the repair, but butchered our camellia bush. It looks terrible and I doubt it will survive. Contacted Superior and they dismissed it as just a minor pruning and said it will be fine. Please see pictures. If they were going to cut 2/3rds of my camellia down they could have at least contacted me. Very disappointed.

​The toilet repair was simple enough but I’m glad I didn't try to do it myself. The technician noticed that the wax ring was starting to fail and replaced it before it caused floor damage. That kind of attention to detail is why I’ll call them again.

Water heater installation was done in one afternoon. The team removed the old unit and ensured proper venting for the new one. They walked me through the controls during final testing. Everything works reliably now.

​I had a small emergency with a broken pipe and needed a plumbing pipe repair fast. They arrived within two hours and got the water back on for my family. The service was reliable and I felt like the technician really cared about helping us out.

​The toilet repair was handled by a plumber who clearly knew his stuff. He identified a hairline crack in the tank that I hadn't noticed. He advised me on a replacement rather than a temporary fix which I appreciated. We went ahead with the installation and the new unit works perfectly.

They came same day to help us with a very small issue. Great customer service and highly recommend!
