Best HVAC experience ever! My AC went out on a Saturday and after waiting 2 days for James River to come out, I called Richmond Air on Monday. They sent someone out that day and fixed my problem in no time. The total that I paid to fix my issue was the same price that James River was charging just to come out and diagnose the issue. 10/10 business. I will only be using Richmond Air in the future for my HVAC needs.

Richmond Air did a great job cleaning our ducts. We are very happy and definitely recommend them to others. They were the cheapest among all 4 companies that I called and had the best reviews among the 4 companies.

I have been dealing with Richmond Heating and Air for about 8 years now. Mr. Pope has never failed me yet. Him and Mikey are great. Mr. Pope will go out of his way to make sure you are satisfied after the completion of the job. Couldn't ask for a better company.

I'm very happy with the service. Al was great. Very professional and patient with answering all the questions that I had. Very helpful. The prices on the units were reasonable as well. I would recommend Richmond Air to anyone that's looking for unit installs.

I have homeserve home warranty. I called them for an appointment for my HVAC unit. After not receiving a call from this company, I called homeserve back and they said I missed my appointment (that was never scheduled) and they didn’t have any appointments before the first of the year!! Who would want to even deal with a company that their first line is a complete lie!! What a disgrace for a company!! Beware of this company!!

Al was the best. He came out and did two separate jobs on the heating and delivered both times. He was very professional and most of all highly competent. Unlike Martin Heating and Air, Richmond Air is the best and I will always use them and request Al for any future jobs.

The technician was very polite, he listen to my concerns and went straight to work to fix the problem, he kept me informed on everything he was doing, he definitely knows his job very well. Out of all the techs that's ever been out to work on my heat pump I got the best understanding from. On a scale from 1-5 , he definitely gets 5 🌟. Going forward when I call my warranty for this kind of work I'm definitely requesting this company and anyone I know looking for a tech in this field I'm definitely recommending ya'll company.

The technician Al Pope was very professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and informative. He explained what he observed and why my AC was not working, although I had my unit serviced approximately six months ago by another company, Honest AC (STAY AWAY). He remained professional and made recommendations for my daily HVAC maintenance to ensure the longevity of my unit.

Richmond Air came out for a second opinion on a part of our system. Al was responsive, explained the situation well, and worked efficiently to solve the actual problem rather than expensive upsells. Will be using again in the future for sure. (And there was no ask for this review, unlike with most other companies.)

Richmond Air has been my HVAC service provider for over 15 years now. They accept my home warranty company and Al always provides exceptional service! Very honest and upfront with you about issues and if they can be repaired or if the unit has to be replaced. Even when I think things have to be replaced, he says no we can fix it! I won’t let anyone else touch my HVAC systems!

Al Pope serviced my furnace Feb. 2025. He was friendly, patient, and an expert at diagnosing the problem. He checked the theramostat, air filter and return to fully evaluate the situation. He was amazing and the furnace is working again just in time before more winter storms hit. Thank you, Al. Give Al a raise, bonus, and promotion. He is the only person I will request from Richmond Air to service my HVAC. Great job overall, Richmond Air.

I can't say enough good things about Al Pope! He went above and beyond in diagnosing the issues with my 15-year-old A/C unit. After thoroughly checking both the outside unit and the one in the attic, he quickly identified the latest problem—on top of several patches done over the past three years by a previous HVAC company. Al’s expertise and attention to detail gave me real peace of mind, especially with summer just around the corner.

His dedication and professionalism were clear from the start, and he made sure I fully understood the next steps while we wait for the warranty company to either provide the necessary part or move forward with a full replacement. Richmond Air did an amazing job on our AC unit. They repaired it quickly and affordably, when other companies would have told us we needed to buy a new unit from them for $10k+. The technician, Al, I believe, was really nice and enjoyable to talk to while he did the work. I Highly recommend.
