The motor of our condenser overheated due to failure with the capacitor. This happened on a Sunday morning. I called Americool as we had used them before, in fact, they installed the condenser for us almost 5 years ago. Americool responded within a few hours and I was very impressed that they responded to the call on a weekend! The owner, Chip Wells was the technician who responded and fixed the issue right away! We didn’t have to suffer without AC for too long and this was during a 99 degree day!
Further, Mr. Wells researched that our condenser was still under warranty and recommended we go ahead and replace the motor. Mr. Wells installed the new motor the next day. Excellent customer service was provided by Americool! I highly recommend them!

I’ve worked with several companies and this one stands out. For various properties, I’ve used them about 6 times now. I found they have the ability to fix units, and not just recommend a new system. They also are honest regarding manufacturers warranties. The technician Jimmy loves sharing jokes too!

They are going to over charge you for everything!! I called them last night to install a new capacitor on my hvac unit since I couldn’t just run to Lowe’s to buy the part. They replaced it and unit still wouldn’t turn on. The tech went to the attic to discover the condensation pump wasn’t working and it cut the power to the unit. They got the system to work. Upon receiving my bill they wanted to charge me 200 dollars for a 20 dollar part. Now I have my own business and I understand markup on items but 10 times the cost of the item is robbery. Not to mention they also topped off the Freon(didn’t ask them to do it) and got charged an arm and a leg for that too.I had their technician remove the new capacitor and install my old one because I wasn’t about to be taken advantage of because of company policy. I bought a new capacitor on Amazon for 20 bucks that got delivered this morning

I was thrilled!!! As hot as it had been, I'm sure they were extremely busy. I expected to have to wait quite a while after getting on theist list. Instead. I was pleasantly surprised that my unit was fixed so quickly. Greg was excellent and I couldn't be more pleased with him and with Americool!

Americool was able to come out within a few hours of my call. They had my starter replaced and A/C charged up, running again in no time. Price was fair and service was great.

After working with many heating and cooling companies, this one is top notch and the best I have had dealings with. Americool Heating &Cooling is a locally owned, compassionate company that gets the job done QUICKLY! They have 24 hours service and when I sent a text on the hottest day in 40 years because my air conditioner went out, They helped get it fixed immediately, so my family was able to sleep in our home that night. Over the years I have had the Opportunity to work with the owner on more than one occasion and he has an absolutely great guy. I just had my heating and air system replaced by them within the past four years and am thankful I did. Comparable pricing and great work. You can’t go wrong with this company.

My 18 year old heat pump broke and Chip came out right away to look at it and get it back up and running temporarily. I needed a new unit. I called Americool back and received a quote for a replacement unit. Chip was very fair and honest. He explained everything to me, listened, and cared about my needs and wishes. During the install, the guys were awesome! They were very courteous and clean. You would never have known they were ever in my house. The technicians were also very knowledgeable and professional. We had a new heating & air conditioning unit installed by Americool 8 years ago and have kept a yearly maintenance agreement since that time. It was a good decision. We have had excellent service. Twice a year maintenance checks have taken care of minor potential problems and when we did have a breakdown with air conditioning, they came out immediately. They took care of the issue and explained to us what went wrong.
The techs have always been responsive, knowledgeable, polite and just good guys. We would definitely recommend AmeriCool!

Recently got a 15 plus years Trane heat pump replaced. My decision to go with them was because of the family feel that I got from the person that came out to estimate my system(Chip). That was my first time meeting him but with his pleasant and positive energy he had, I felt as if I've know him for years. He presented me multiple equipment options without up selling and gave his honest opinions to all questions asked. When the system was installed, the crew that came out(Jake and Sergio) showed the same positive and respectful energy as Chip. System is working better than expected and glad that I chose to do business with them and will continue to do so in the future.

Americool Heating & Cooling, Inc. provided my family with a complete HVAC system replacement for the aging HVAC system that was installed at the time. I cannot express enough the knowledge and understanding that Americool has. They surveyed our system and made some great recommendations on how to increase the efficiency of our new system, with a few more adjustments to other areas of my house. They provided us with multiple options to choose from and at a price point that was equal to or better than the other vendors that inquired for the same job. The installation process was within the agreed upon time frame. The installers were professional and knowledgeable, and answered every question that was asked of them.

Chip and his team were fantastic. Our A/C went out on a weekend and I called him on Sunday night to see if they could help. He got a team out here first thing Monday morning to start diagnosing the issue. Mind you, it was the hottest week so far and the temps were not going down any time soon. His techs got to the bottom of the issue and we're able to get it resolved pretty quick to get us cooled down. Chip and his techs walked us through the entire process and made sure to explain everything in layman's terms so that we could fully understand what we were up against and our options to tackle it.

This is where you go when you are looking for honest, experienced HVAC professionals who know the ins and outs of a heating and cooling system. They fixed a motor in my HVAC unit 4 years ago, which has still been working since. I regret not calling them when I ran into an issue with my second unit and went elsewhere who tried to sell me on buying an entire new system.
