The agent who checked out my HVAC, Taquirrius, was the nicest most thorough person I have ever had do this job! He went above and beyond. He even checked out my air purifier attached to my HVAC and discovered that the new bulb was incorrect for the system. I want him to do every HVAC check in my house!

I am a Property Manager for an apartment building in Downton Richmond VA and I don't know if anyone else out there in the Richmond, Virginia area is running into the same issue that I am having, but it is becoming more and more difficult to find HVAC companies that will do work in an occupied apartment. That being said, I can not speak highly enough of Armstrong Mechanical Services! They are all around amazing and quick to respond! The Service Tech that came out's name is Tyler and he was able to identify an issue that most would have overlooked and was able to quickly fix the issue. Both my maintenance guy and myself were VERY pleased with Tyler and the whole Armstrong team! If any of you are in the RVA area and are having the same issue I have been having with these companies not wanting to do work in occupied units, please give Armstrong a call!

I had a new heat pump installed almost 2 years ago and could not be happier. Armstrong helped me choose the best system for my home and the service has been outstanding. Their techs are great (Tyler is knowledgeable and thorough), their office is always helpful and responsive. Armstrong also made recommendations to my parents on their much older system and fixed it and was honest (where it would have been easy to just recommend a whole new system for a lot more $) They are trustworthy.

They were here within thirty minutes and explain what was happening and how to fix it while we are experiencing this unusual cold weather we are experiencing at the moment

Armstrong Mechanical Services Inc recently replaced our heat pump with an American Standard heat pump. They were able to do the installation in about a week from contacting them. Their team was friendly, professional and completed the task in a short amount of time. I would recommend them to anyone who wants any HVAC work performed.

Fantastic service. I had attempted to fix my AC issues myself, but the fan and compressor still weren't kicking on. The Armstrong crew listened to what I had tried and then dug in to verify my work. Turns out, I had done the repair correctly, but missed a step to cycle the 24v power to reset the system. The techs went ahead and checked the system pressure, gave everything a once over, and reset the system - and boom. Good to go. Charged me a nominal fee for their time and expertise; which I was thought was more than fair. Highly recommended.

Very happy with what Armstrong did for us this past week - new insulated HVAC ductwork installed throughout the attic and retrofit our existing air handler for up flow, added ceiling vents to all rooms in the house. Fantastic work and our house feels great now. They were easy to deal with and I definitely recommend them. Thanks Daniel, Jake, and George.

I was very pleased with them. I called on the weekend and left a message and they got back to me early Monday. I have an apt right away and the service was great and affordable. The mechanic was very respectful and informative.

Service Tech (Eddie) arrived on time, diagnosed the problem and efficiently rectified it. He kept me informed along the way of issue and solution. Eddie is always professional and respectful of keeping foot traffic clean (wearing his booties when he comes in!)

We had our oil unit replaced with a new hvac system. They did an amazing job. The new system works perfect! The guys that came out were helpful and explained everything so we would know what they were doing and how this system works verses the antique system they replaced. They removed the old unit and cleaned up any mess they made. They were pleasant, well mannered, and very efficient as fast. I would definitely recommend them and we will continue to use them for maintenance.

Had the opportunity for Travis and Stephen to complete an installation of an outside unit and air handler in our community club house. Armstrong was selected through a bid with a very fair price. The installers were pleasant, professional, cleaned up after themselves and communicated areas of concern, which we will be following up on. Would highly recommend Armstrong and these installers for your future business.

The estimator showed up on time, was polite and professional. He thoroughly explained exactly what service would provided. The crew showed up the next week (on time), and they too were very professional and courteous. I watched a good bit of the process and was very impressed with the cleaning. When it was all finished the crew provided before and after photos of my ducts and what an improvement! My ducts were not only cleaned, and sanitized but they were coated with an antimicrobial coating to help prevent mold build in in the future. A few years back I used another company that did little more than run a suction hose through my ducts. Kohmar's work is far superior. I highly recommend their services.
