Armstrong is a great company, large enough to provide reasonable prices and response times, and great quality but not so big you’re just a number. It’s nice to get estimates from the owner himself which is a big plus, larger companies have to hire sales people. Nothing wrong with that, it just adds another mouth to feed. When getting quotes, give him a chance and decide for yourself. He’s always been fair with our family

I’ve been working with Armstrong Mechanical for five years across three properties and have always been pleased. There aren’t many places where you can deal directly with the owner. Pricing is very fair and great service. When I had the whole family for Christmas and we woke up with no heat on the morning of the 26th, Daniel had someone out before lunch to fix the problem. I used Armstrong for both maintenance on my very old HVAC unit and for installation of a brand new HVAC system. They were timely, professional and very good on pricing & scheduling. I will definitely be sticking with them for all my HVAC maintenance needs.

Our regular HVAC people couldn’t fix the leak. We decided to try Armstrong as they were recommended by our neighbors. They fixed the water leak on our system the first time out. We’ve had no trouble with it since. Will definitely call them again.

I got them to do the yearly service on my unit. I had absolutely no problems with my unit prior to them "servicing" it. Less than 1 month (24 days) later my unit was 9+ pounds low in freon. Ended up spending $5200 to get a new company to install a new unit to replace the unit that was working perfectly fine less than a month prior. Don't use this company.

I would highly recommend Armstrong Mechanical to meet your HVAC needs. My heat pump compressor failed so I hired an individual to install a heat pump and air handler that we bought from Johnstone HVAC supplies in Richmond , after showing up late and several concerns about his ability to install this equipment professionally I googled HVAC repair for my local area and Armstrong was at the top of the list with 5 stars. I highly recommend for for several reasons. One they came out to my house in a timely manner. Second they provided me an honest quote, there prices are lower than many other competitors for heating and ac repair. Third the work they completed was professional. Don't take a chance like I did with such an important part of your home, go with a company you can trust , Armstrong Mechanical.

I have been an Armstrong customer for a decade, and have always found them punctual and a pleasure to deal with. This month, in a bad heat wave, the old AC system died, and they replaced it. It took longer than it otherwise might because a crane was required to raise the new system to the roof (and remove the old system), so had to be scheduled. But the work was done when promised, cheerfully (despite 100 degree temps). They left a clean workspace, and Daniel Armstrong himself returned the following day to insure it was functioning well. I recommend them highly.

Called Armstrong when my heat stop working. They came same day and Travis tried his best to get it working but ended up having to have the heating unit replaced. They got a quote to me the same day and installed on Friday. Been with them for quite a while they have great service. Would highly recommend them

I had a great experience with Armstrong. They were very responsive while we were researching air handlers/install. The installation was smooth and the air handler has been working perfectly for over four years. The pricing was also reasonable. Armstrong Mechanical installed a traditional 3 ton handler and a mini split for us. Our house design is unusual. Where other HVAC installers basically just suggested buying a larger, higher seer unit, Armstrong did a full review of the house and existing duct design. They explained that the house was not built to handle larger than 3 tons and gave us another option. No other installer checked or mentioned this when giving quotes.

The three ton handler + the mini split are doing an excellent job keeping the house cool for the summer, additionally the two items came in cheaper than getting one larger unit, and to top it off our power bills are now 35% lower than they were last summer. Armstrong Mechanical services actually pay attention to the science of airflow in your house and offer the solution that's best for your unique circumstance at a good price.

The installers were friendly and on time and the office was quick to respond to requests. I'm really glad I chose them to install our HVAC.
