I am formally reporting an extremely disturbing and unacceptable experience with this company.

I had a confirmed appointment scheduled for 4:00 PM. However, the technician, Francis Munoz, did not arrive until after 9:00 PM — more than five hours late, without reasonable explanation or professional communication.

Upon arrival, he immediately demanded payment before performing any services. When I attempted to address the situation and discuss the appointment delay, his behavior became aggressive. He proceeded to shove me and then stormed out of my home. As a result of his conduct, I felt unsafe and was forced to contact law enforcement.

This behavior is completely unacceptable, unprofessional, and deeply concerning. No customer should ever experience intimidation or physical aggression from someone representing a business.

Based on this experience, I strongly advise others to avoid using this company. Immediate action should be taken to address this matter to prevent similar incidents from happening to others.

My HVAC stopped working. I have been unhappy with my current HVAC contractor, so on the recommendation of a friend, I called MA Williams. They sent a tech that same day. He was on time, diagnosed and fixed the problem quickly, and charged a VERY reasonable price. MA Williams will be my HVAC company from now on.

Brooks was very helpful and fixed our drain issue in no time. We would recommend Brooks with M.A. Williams to anyone.

Dave, the general manager, and the rest of the guys were a life saver. Called them with an urgent need so that I could finish a project and they were at my home the next day. Definitely will call them again if I need any plumbing work, and I highly recommend everyone to consider them when in need. Excellent service all around.

We had a drainage issue. House had old copper pipes. Chris thoroughly explained what needed to happen, cost involved, warranty and completion timeline. He returned the next morning , completed work, inspected every room to ensure everything worked properly. I'm thoroughly satisfied and would use them again without hesitation.

Great company and a pleasure to work with the crew was on time fast and efficient they worked around my work schedule to a time convenient to me my family and I were very satisfied with the services we received and the checkbook wasn't mad at us either as it was very affordable and cost effective they have my buisness in the future on a scale of 1 to 10 I give them an 11

Terrible service! I had this company come out to fix my garbage disposal. Appointment was between 12-2p, the guy showed up at 2:45p; late without any notice. He came out told me it would cost $144 to fix or replace it for $400. Naturally we said fix it, he then said "Well you're gonna be mad about this". He proceeded to un-tightened a bolt under the sink and it was fixed. He charged me $144 for a job that took less than 10 seconds!! I called to talk to the manager about overcharging me for such a small amount of work. I had to call back 3 times in order to have a manager talk to me. After I did talk to someone he told me that I don't own a business and have no idea the charges that goes into jobs. I'm not looking to steal money from anyone or get a cheap rate. All I am looking for is a fair price for work and $144 for literally 10 seconds of work was outrageous. I recommend that you DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! I wish I could give them 0 stars!

MA Williams is truly the best plumber anyone could ask for! they always communicate with me when they are coming. They always fix the issue. I will forever tell everyone about MA Williams!

THANK YOU RANDY!!! and the whole M.A. Williams Crew for SAVING THE DAY! I had a leak... or as I like to call it in my panic-state "A Flood" in my kitchen. I called M.A. Williams and Randy arrived promptly on time, in uniform, treated me and my home respectfully. What most impressed me was the patience in answering my endless questions and listening to my arm-chair-quarterback diagnosis of the issue before showing, NOT telling me what was actually wrong. When I still had endless questions, he patiently answered all of them. I WILL ALWAYS CALL M.A. WILLIAMS for my Plumbing Issues!

I was pleased that they could respond to help me by the next day but then it ended. When the plumber got here I explained the problem, he came to a different idea of the source of the problem. After rodding out my line several times the water was flowing so he put everything back together. $400 later and he was in the truck getting ready to leave and I have the same problem again. I ran out to the truck and stopped him from leaving. I once again said what I thought was wrong and he took the small autovent off the drain line and everything worked. I had to go get the part and replace myself because he couldn't stay and fix. I don't think I will use them again.

Update - They reached out to me were very concerned about what happened. He told me he had spoken with the Tech and the service dispatchers and were taking action that this type of thing would never happen again. I was given a full refund and was asked to please consider using their company at another time. I will give this some thought, I feel a company that will reach out to you and try to resolve any issues is one that I would like to have working for me.

Called MA Williams this morning for a leaking toilet. Technician came out earlier than the scheduled time on the same day. Checked and double checked his work and was friendly and even knew what a Schipperke (my dog) was. Diagnostic fee only $29.95 and the whole job was less than $200. I know I would have paid three times that much if I had used any of the corporate companies out there. Absolutely wonderful experience. They will be my go to plumbers from here on out!

M A Williams Plumbing has always been quick to respond and has sent great people to work with - always! This last fix-up my plumbing was complicated and lengthy and Chris with his helpers did a splendid job and let me know as he went along what was going on. He also went out of his way to make friends with the dogs and ignore their supervision. It was overall a good experience. Thanks.

I just had work performed by MA Williams Plumbing service for the 2nd time. I'm very impressed with the service they provide and their great knowledge. I like the way they explain as to what is going on with the problem and how they're going to fix the problem. I looked this company up on the website for my mom when she had a plumbing issue. I had never heard about this company. My mom was happen with them, so when I had a problem at my house, I called for their service as well.

We've worked with M.A. Williams in Richmond for many years. Our sewer lines are old and need more attention than we'd like, but MA Williams has always been prompt, knowledgeable and dedicated to solving our problem. Other contractors in the area recommend them highly, and that goes a long way for us.

I have called MA Williams twice in the past 6 months - once for a leaking water line to a house and once for a clogged sewer line at another house. Pros: They came the next day. Cons: Both times I asked for a written estimate (which I always do when work is expensive or complex). In both cases, they did not provide the written estimate in spite of my follow up emails or calls. I used USA Pipe Repair instead and they did a great job at a lower price.

I was very pleased with the work provided at my duplex on 12/26/17. Both units had very slow bathtub drains. M.A. Williams was on time, with a small 3-hr arrival window, was very professional and courteous, and completely cleared both drains in under an hour. In addition, the price charged was very reasonable.
I plan to call on them again to repair the bathtub diverter pipe for the 1st floor tub; and to repair a drain line that is corroded and not properly sloped.
I highly recommend M.A. Williams for your plumbing needs.

Dahlia is the young lady that initially took my call. She was able to work her magic and get me on the schedule within an 45min. Mind you I called previous companies and they said they couldn't make it. My technician Mike was very personable, knowledgeable, and efficient. He took care of my kitchen clog in no time. M.A. Williams these employees are definitely assets to the company.

Had a couple of tremendous experiences with the folks from M.A. Williams this weekend when our sewage overflowed. In a true emergency situation, they were fast, courteous and most knowledgeable. A young man named Aragon was particularly helpful. He was thorough and did great quality work.
We have definitely added these folks to our "house partners list"!!

The technician mike can out and walked me through exactly what he was doing as he was doing it. He was very friendly and very helpful. Took care of my problem quickly and efficiently and completely took care of my problem. I will definitely use MA Williams for all my future plumbing needs.
