Chris was awesome he was thorough and went over the top to get the job done and done the right way. I would highly recommend them for all all your plumbing needs!

No idea they helped pet rescue but called and they sent a team out crazy fast. Adam and Chris were able to help get my cat out of the storm drain. They were so nice and amazing I can't thank them enough.

Technician Chris Flory was wonderful from start to finish of the job! He had smile on his face when he pulled up despite the hot summer heat and had a pleasant demeanor throughout the duration of the job. If ever needed again I would request him by name. Also the on call technician that walked me through the steps to shut off the hot water heater to stop the leak was wonderful and patient! Everyone provided a great experience during the unexpected 😊.

I had Chris come out today and take a look at a clog I had in my pipe underneath the home. I hadn't been able to use water the past three days due to the clog (ended up flooding my basement, another story). Chris walked me through all my options, and we ended up hydro jetting the pipe from outside the home. This option did require digging up the pipe, due to the sewer cleanout not being a two way setup. While it was the more expensive option, this was by far the best option, as the amount of sludge and rust that came out of the pipe would have certainly made the basement situation worse. He had a camera that showed me the quality of the pipes and made me feel confident every step of the way that he was going to resolve my issue. I can't thank this man enough for the hard work and dedication he put into this project, he truly wanted the best outcome for me. I would recommend this gentleman to anyone who has a sewage/drain issue.

I had the pleasure of working with Donovan from Roto-Rooter, and his professionalism and customer service were truly a 10 out of 10 (even though I can only give 5 stars here!). He came out to give me an estimate for a leak, and he was prompt, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain everything clearly. I called on Wednesday the day before Thanksgiving and they said we will be there. I then get a call that says they are backed up they cannot get to me till Monday. So I wait and try again and set the appt on Monday for Tuesday. I took the day off and let's get this straight I can't afford to not work as everyone knows. Then come appt time they call and say they can't make it. Let's get this straight I am also a tradesman so I understand things happen. Same excuse and if you ask me that's not a good first experience. Didn't even get to see the work and the scheduling obviously is not any good. They then proceeded to ask me another day I would be home. Place needs to grow up and accept responsibility and be prompt about what they say.

So since this last post they sent a guy immediately after I posted that. He was a all around awesome guy. Can't remember name but he was awesome. I give him 5 stars but not roto rooter. I really wish I could remember his name.

Jay showed a great deal of knowledge when assessing what needed to be done, and performed the tasks at hand with speed and efficiency. Our lines are clear and the toilet flushes with no issues. Thank you, Jay!

Jarrett cleared our toilet problem completely. He was polite and friendly and explained the services Roto Rooter delivers. We will call Roto Rooter if we have any plumbing or sewerage problems in the future.

My experience with roto rooter and the rr technician was outstanding. They showed up promptly after i contacted them. Work started right away and i was encouraged to watch the hole process. The old septic line was scoped. The technician described what he was seeing and identified what he would do to remedy the situation. The location of the clog was identified and the technician eagerly grabbed a shovel and started digging to locate the pipe and subsequently he excavated the perimeter of the septic tank.

He clearly knew what to do. He was well trained and knew the applicable laws. He had experience with almost every septic situation imaginable and shared his insights freely. The technician was ex military, hard working never negative friendly and helpful.

I would hesitate to hire rr for another septic job

2nd time we used RotoRooter in the last 10 or so years. Staff is always friendly and professional. Tech came a day earlier than the final appointment date we had. That was great news. Cleared the clog in short order and showed the video of what was wrong plus gave us some tips. We are happy.

Chris was extremely beneficial in helping us with an ongoing line issue. He was honest, knowledgeable, and efficient. He installed a clean-out and repaired the line that was damaged as a result of some roots. Thank you for providing us such great service!

Service: Installation of garbage disposal (InSinkErator Badger 5XL Continuous feed 1/2-HP), dishwasher (GE 24-in Top Control Built-in Dishwasher), and an Undersink Water Filtration System.

Pros: Ease of scheduling an appointment, especially on a weekend; notification of time of arrival; professionalism and courteousness of technician.

Cons: Incorrect installation of P-Trap that resulted in water shooting upwards after turning on garbage disposal (paid $99 service charge for a different plumber to discover this and resolve the problem); power wires of the garbage disposal were not tucked into the bottom of the garbage disposal per the instructions. The picture shows what it looks like after I tucked in the wires.

What would I do differently: If I use Roto-Rooter again, I would not schedule an appointment on a Saturday or Sunday (because plumbing parts and supply stores were not open); ask questions and not make any assumptions

I chose not to let Roto-Rooter diagnose or fix the garbage disposal issue because my experience with a previous job, combined with this current problem, left me with less than full confidence in their service.

Through a tough Richmond winter (2015) I became a regular customer of Master & Sons. Two burst pipes lead to two emergency repair jobs. Lou documented the step by step repair which included upgraded insulation and an access panel (that we will hopefully never have to use!). The photo documentation was very helpful when putting through a claim with the insurance company. They also bring a sense of humor which is important in an, otherwise, stressful situation!
