The technician arrived on time and I appreciated the text message ahead of time, with the technician's name and photo, to know who to expect. He took his time and was thorough and helped me understand what was needed. Overall, a great experience!

They installed a mini-split system for me which made my 2-season room into a 4-season room!! Very grateful! Even better, there was an issue later on where the caulk around the entry point of the AC line deteriorated and let a little water in, they came out right away and fixed the issue without any charge to me, standing behind their work. Not every company does business like that

I scheduled the service due to something rattling in the ductwork close to the unit. The technician stated that he could remove the ductwork and then remove whatever is causing the rattling sound but he then said " that something could fall in again and I'd have the same issue". He then went on to clean the electrostatic filter and then replace the humidifier pad. I was charged $115 for this. He also made claims that things were not in code and "that by law he should shut off my gas". He then presented me with a $1000 estimate. I stated that I would have to see what code was in violation. He said I could look it up. Overall, he was pleasant to work with but I am disappointed I did not get the issue fixed and was pressured into spending additional money on something I don't believe needed to be addressed.

We used Shanahans to install our new HVAC and were very impressed with their work. Brandon has been really great with a follow up visit for replacing some duct work and maintaining our system. Great company to work with and now they are full service contractors!

Troy did a great job taking his time to diagnose multiple issues. As a property manager I was very happy with the charge and the response time as well as communications with dispatcher who made the appointment.

Armando and Juan did a GREAT job. It was a cold and miserable day and they stuck with it for 7 hours to replace my HVAC system. Armando and Juan were great! They replaced our HVAC system in the freezing cold temperatures this February and even shoveled some of our snow for us! I would definitely recommend CD Shanahan’s to everyone for heating and cooling needs!

I called C.D. in the morning to try get service for my heat not working. Of the multiple places I called, C.D.'s was the only place that was able to fit me in the same day.

I had a few concerns with the service I was getting, and the owner reached out to me address those concerns. He was willing to make things right for me and apologized for some of the miscommunication.

Because the owner seemed genuine and took the time to reach out to me, I would be willing to give them another try in the future.

The tech was awesome, friendly, efficient, and on time. The person on the phone when I made the appointment was great as well.

The pricing, however, is atrocious. $395 + a $100 diagnostic fee to replace an igniter is crazy. It's a $30 part with a 5 min install time, no way that is worth $395, especially when the diagnostics isn't included in that.

I shouldn't have continued past the diagnostics, learn from my mistake.

They were great! Very responsive and quick to come out. Elijah was our technician and he walked me through what he was doing with the unit. He talked through some of the steps he was doing and what would typically cause the problems we were having. He ran step by step testing and found the issues and was able to fix and resolve them right there. He also gave good tips on normal maintenance we could/should do on a regular basis ourselves! He fixed our condensate waste pipe, got our heater functioning again, and fixed a floor vent piping that had broken. Great customer service, knowledge, and execution. Highly recommend!

Quick response in an emergency circumstance. They validated my assumptions for the root issue and helped me with a short and long term solution. Will be looking to them to help explore long term comfort solutions for my home with how seamless and professional the first visit was.

The company has good response time, were polite, and here quick but unfortunately did not fix our issue. They replaced 2 parts for us and we ended up having a second opinion from another HVAC tech that successfully fixed and diagnosed our old system.

I think if your system is newer and you require prompt service they'd be okay but for more complex issues, results may vary.

We had a series of visits from the start of October each with their own costs as a new part was recommended each time. This means that the cost of part and service started adding up and our issue ended up being a wiring issue rather than a third part replacement which we declined.

If you go through the company, document all things the technician says along with any parts you own and parts they supply.

We would can not in good faith recommend, as service was not rendered to completion or had satisfactory results.

Connor, provided us a very competitive quote. When the gas furnace part wasn't going to arrive in a timely manner, he was able to find a backup and expedite an installation for us. Connor kept us in the loop during the whole time, responded promptly via text. The service technician, Elijah, was very professional and very friendly. Would highly recommend this company for all HVAC services!
