Our experience with United Air Temp has been excellent. Very pleased with the work performed and all the technicians are friendly and professional. I would rate them as outstanding, however, I think they need to keep the customer aware of the status of parts on order and so forth to learn what is happening. The customer should not need to be calling and to often getting different information. An accurately informed customer is a happy and understanding customer.

Jose did the maintenance on my heating system, and I was extremely impressed. He is a polite, respectful, and very professional gentleman. He did an excellent job, thoroughly cleaned the system, kept me informed throughout the process, and clearly explained upgrade options and costs for future improvements.
I give Jose a 10 out of 10 for the service and everything. Outstanding service!!!

Woke up without heat and promptly gave United Air Temp a call. They responded quickly with two technicians who handled the repair easily. They explained the problem and what to look out for in the future. Really happy with United Air Temp and have been using their services for a couple years. Always a positive experience!

Jose did an excellent job. He communicated with us to let us know he was 30 minutes away, and once he arrived he took care to keep us in the loop while he performed our routine maintenance. He was thorough and professional, providing excellent customer service.

To add to my other review, the company said they would make sure their techs knew not to park in fire lanes in general, but particularly in Arcola Center. But clearly they didn't. The HOA is going to tow the vehicle.

*Edit* despite the company's response, they clearly didn't even talk to their staff about it, as another tech has just parked in the SAME fire lane.

Not the first time I've had to report this company parking in fire lanes, private spaces and resident only parking in Arcola Center. You're required to arrange parking in your client's driveway or the visitor parking. Get your stuff together.

My sump pump was not working anymore. They were very punctual (within their arrival window), the gentlemen they sent out - Omar - was very professional, clean, and thorough. He replaced our pump, cleaned out built up gunk, and showed me exactly how to assess if there is an issue in the future. Highly recommend them for fair, no hassle, quality service.

This was my first time using this company. I had another HVAC vendor fail to repair my furnace after multiple attempts, leaving me with a furnace in pieces. I called United and had someone at my home the same day. They made it look easy -- they reassembled the furnace in about 30 minutes and had me back up and running. No upsell, no padded bills with parts I didn't need... shockingly, their visit cost me less than either of the two visits by the other vendor.

Jack was a great representative of the company. He was quick, professional, and great to work with. United is lucky to have guys like this on their team. (If United Air Temp management is reading this review - give that guy a bonus!)

The HVAC system was installed by United Air Temp at the end of May 2025. Since its installation, we have faced persistent issues, requiring weekly service calls for over two months, yet the problems remain unresolved. The excessive humidity in our basement caused by this unit is damaging our home, and we hold United Air Temp accountable for these damages. We are now seeing signs of mold growth on the floor, and the basement doors no longer close properly without significant force due to the ongoing moisture issues.
During the most recent service visit, your technician claimed a hole in our basement wall was the cause—an issue never present with our previous HVAC system, which functioned well for over a decade. Despite our doubts, we hired a contractor to fill the area as advised, only to learn no hole existed. This unnecessary repair cost us time and money, and the humidity issues persist. I have attached pictures of the basement vents for your reference, showing the ongoing problem.
We are extremely frustrated with the lack of a permanent solution and the damages to our property, which have worsened over the past two months despite our patience and repeated attempts to work with your team. Why should we have to endure these issues? If you were in our position, I’m sure you would not tolerate such conditions. As a result, we demand that United Air Temp send a team to remove the unit immediately and address the damages caused, including the mold and structural issues. Furthermore, we are considering stopping the monthly payments for this financing, as we are paying for a brand-new HVAC system that is actively harming our home.
We are waiting for United Air Temp to contact us urgently to schedule the unit’s removal and discuss next steps for resolving this matter, including compensation for the damages.

Mike kept us informed during the entire process and left the worksite neat and clean. He treated us as the intelligent customers we are, leaving us to make our own informed decisions as to any additional services needed. They are very knowledgeable and quick at accurately diagnosing and resolving issues. We’ve used their services twice—once to fix a plumbing leak and another time to repair our water heater. Both times, the problem was correctly identified and resolved in a timely manner. The service was reliable, on time, and the technicians were very professional and polite.
