Daniel came out to repair our HVAC unit today and it was a great experience. Super nice guy and he got our unit up and running again with a new thermostat. He noticed and repaired another small issue as well! I highly recommend!

Yesterday Andrew from Vernon The Heating & Cooling Specialists in Sterling came out to service our HVAC unit and was amazingly knowledgeable & helpful. He showed me the inside of the area that requires cleaning, explained what he did, & how it was in great shape. He also educated me on our water heater. In 33 years he is the only one to actually teach me about our HVAC & water heater.

Andrew was polite, professional, & so bright that I plan to switch to this company.

They came same day and fixed my AC and the price was good. They did not try and sell me a new system and advised I would need a new one which I already knew. They were honest. Very happy with the service.

Matt was our technician and he was very professional. I was really impressed that he took time to clearly explained the condition of our AC system and what options we should consider in the future to avoid any big repairs. I definitely recommend Vernon for heating and cooling issues in the house.

Most recent service: Tech (Andrew) was on time, answered my questions, very friendly/professional and fixed a few things of concern. I'm very happy with the Service I received today.
Initial new full system install: The estimator promised a lot of stuff that wasn't delivered and installed. At first I was quite disappointed with the Service received. Turns out one of their service managers left the company and the site survey list of what I ordered wasn't correctly translated to the install team. After hearing about the miss-match of what I ordered -vs- what was installed, Vernon quickly sent over two (2) of their most senior personnel, a Senior Technicians and a Manager. All the equipment that was on my original site install survey, plus a couple of much appreciated
bells and whistle that were complementary. I would recommend them for Heating & Cooling to everyone.

We were pleased with Zach’s thoroughness and clear answers to questions. This is part of our annual maintenance plan. We also had questions about some issues from summer AC and he looked into those, too.

This company felt like a true family operation. From the receptionist, to the tech who came out, they felt like they were genuine. We just bought a house so we wanted to have the heating and cooling looked at. The tech felt honest and like he was giving us genuine advice. He didn't try to make a hard sell or push anything. We will definitely be using them for service in the future and when it comes time to replace our systems.

Vernon Hearing and Air Conditioning is exceptional. I have been using them for 28 years and they have always been completely professional and reliable! Matt, Zach and the other senior level technicians are top-notch! Ryan Jackson, the vice president of operations, has been an incredible and consistent specialist who has always made himself available for any questions, needs or concerns I’ve ever had.

Ethan was Prompt, professional, personable, and gave a precise description of what was happening within my AC system. Also was able to provide more information for future planned replacement. Very comfortable to work with, and I may happy repeat Vernon customer.

I had made the drastic mistake of going to Appleton Campbell when my AC failed in June. They couldn’t show for my appt and they rescheduled me “3” times at the last minute! After that, they came out 3 more times before they knew the real problem. They kept trying to up sale me and was encouraging me to buy an ENTIRE new system because I’d “be better off”. We were under a severe heatwave, and I didn’t want to give in to their game plan.

Thank goodness for Vernon! They worked with my AC manufacturer and installed my replacement part because it was still under warranty! They were entirely courteous and Respectful of my needs and , importantly, when they committed to my appointment….they kept it and they were on time! No excuses or rescheduling!
SO glad I went with Vernon and I’ll keep using them in the future for all my AC needs! 👍
