Does anybody know what happened to Zagros? No return calls, nothing. Did they go under or bought out? UPDATE: Disregard complaint. I have been advised that during that time interval the owner of Zagros was in a motorcycle accident and had sustained injuries requiring hospitalization, and furthermore resulted in the death of his wife who was his passenger. Operations at Zagros was understandably in a disarray.

Easy to deal with, straight-forward, fairly priced and on time. Sort of like going to the dentist, it's not something people generally WANT to do, but they do do a good job with what they are doing. If I HAVE to get stuff done, happy to have them do it.

Zagros came in on a weekend to fix our A/C system when it stopped working during the heat wave a few weeks ago. We were concerned for my elderly mother as most places were closed on weekends but Zagros was able to come in the very next day- Excellent service and communication, would highly recommend!

My 17-year old heating and cooling system failed this January ('17) during a bitter cold snap. The system failed at the start of a weekend so getting someone out to look at it was impossible. I found ZAGROS Heating and Air and the owner came over on Sunday to check out my system and provide a quote for a replacement. After reviewing all the quotes I received from other contractors, I chose to go with ZAGROS based on Ray's (the owner) genuine concern for my situation and his willingness to do business in person although January can be the busiest time of the year for HVAC companies.

Ray provided me a very reasonable quote, explained the process and timing of the installation and performed the replacement exactly how he originally described it during our initial conversation. There were no hidden fees or additional costs required for the installation. Ray provided a detail overview of the system's operation and the related warranties upon completion of the installation.

There is really nothing more I could've asked for from ZAGROS Heating and Air. Quality work at an affordable price with no gimmicks or unnecessary up-sales tricks. It’s good know there are companies like this still around. I hands-down recommend ZAGROS to anyone considering replacing their existing HVAC systems.

Best Service repair I have received from a HVAX company. My furnace was diagnosed by a company as having a defective main Board that would cost approx $629. Zagros technician was able to repair the defective board to get furnace working immediately a fraction of the cost. Although the diagnosis of a defective main board was correct, very few technicians would have taken the time to fix.

These guys quickly responded to my call when my existing system failed and found a new unit to upgrade my system at a significantly lower price than the other bidders. They finished the replacement in one day and left the installation area clean and in order. Highly recommend.

Ray G. and Zagros are absolutely phenomenal and if you have any issues with an HVAC system, you need to call them; they are honest, sincere, and really know their stuff.

First, about 2 years ago I had to get my entire unit replaced and I got bids form different folks and Ray's was the best, and he did everything smoothly and without incident; it was knocked out on a Saturday morning and they left the place spotless. Everything was done exactly as we had discussed (no hidden or additional costs)

Fast forward to today, I wake up around 5 AM because it's so cold and find out my system is not working at all. Turns out power is not reaching the HVAC system. I have no idea what to do and how to troubleshoot it, and naturally I'm very worried because the house is very cold and I have my wife and young toddler to think about not to mention guests coming in. So I call AND text Ray G. He returns my call and I tell him what the deal is and he says he'll get to my place between 2 and 4. He got to my place at a little after 3, calmly solved the problem in under 10 minutes and was great about it.

Ray G. and Zagros are legit. Like I said above, GOD forbid you have issues with your HVAC system, save yourself the time you would take searching who to call and just call them ASAP and get on their schedule.

** Disclaimer: I am not affiliated in any way with Zagros Heating & AC; I just was a very sweaty homeowner with a broken AC ** I wish I could rate Zagros even higher than 5 Stars; they are amazing....honest, reliable, and ethical. My AC went out during the recent heat spell and I was expecting to have to wait a while for a service visit - after all, a lot of people are having AC crises now - and to be told that I needed a new unit, as it's 27 years old. (Not a typo - - - it was installed in October, 1991). When I called the office, they were able to schedule me for less than 24 hours later, and then arrived earlier than promised (after calling first). The verdict was that although I do need a new AC and Heating unit, he could fix the current problem easily enough to get me through one more season. He replaced a burned-out capacitor (he had the part in his truck, so very prepared) and got me cooled down again in no time. Many places would have tried to gouge me on pricing but not Zagros Heating & AC. The price was extremely reasonable. I'll wait for an off-season to replace the units and definitely will be calling Zagros to do it.

Very professional staff. Peter explained really well how the Water heater works, explained how to function with the Smart Thermostat, and the staff that build all the equipment did a great job. I highly recommend Zagros.

Zagreb Heating & AirConditioning LLC replaced my Air Conditioning unit, furnace and the heater last year and they did a wonderful job. Ray was professional, on-time and installed the units without any issues. Also, they met with all the Fairfax County requirements / permit / inspections. During the hottest days couple weeks ago, our AC broke and we were so frustrated. We called at Zagros, and Mr. Ray came so quickly for free consultation. We had to replace our unit, and in the current market with all the supply shortage, he promised to get our new unit in a few days, we did not believe it first but sure he did . The communication and arrangements with the office staff , Sean and Pedram, was so easy and smooth and they both made sure that we got what we want. The installation team came so prepared and professional and installed our new unit so quickly too. They worked so clean and made sure to clean up afterwards. Our new unit is making no sound compare the old one we had , and now I feel the difference. Sean even did call afterward and made sure we were satisfied and happy with the unit and the service which made us feel so happy that we gave our job to people who care. I appreciate this company and its great and friendly staff , Mr.Ray, Sean and Pedram , and the whole team as they made our lives so easy during our frustrated time.

I went with Zagros to replace my 20 year old heat pump, which was on its last legs. Ray, the owner,, came by to give me an estimate, and he was courteous and I did not feel "upsold" in any way. His estimate was the most competitive of any of the HVAC companies I looked at, by a mile. We ended up going with a midrange Trane heat pump, which he and his team installed in a weekday morning. Zagros feels like a local small business, not a large HVAC chain, which was also appealing to me.

When it came time to look into yearly maintenance, I also ended up purchasing their maintenance plan, to keep my system in tip top shape.
