Our technician today, Harold N, was on time, knowledgeable, personable, and thorough. He let us know the status of our system and his plan for the visit in 6 months or so. Don't let Harold get away. He's a Keeper. Nice feature that we can track the location of the service truck as he is inbound. We made the right choice with Smiley's when we had our entire hvac system replaced two years ago.

This business was professional. There employees were nice direct and honest. My initial install had some hiccups due to programming issues but after we got through it things have been smooth sailing.

A few months pasted and we got our quality assurance inspection with Harold. He was down to earth honest professional and overall human if that makes sense. He made sure I understood what was happening and made sure he answered all my questions. I would hope all Smileys Customers get to experience him.

On call sales (Wes) responded quickly, clearly highly knowledgeable, honest and straight forward. Came out to Chesapeake at 6pm on Super Bowl Sunday just to give me a quote as quickly as possible since one of our furnaces went down, and knowing that I would be comparing quotes so it was not guaranteed business. Offered space heaters to keep us comfortable during the two days between quote and install. Quote provided was by far the most thorough as well as the best priced.

Zach came just in time for an upcoming storm. He expected one thing and found he needed to provide more time to my issue. He was very professional, polite and thorough. I feel good about the process moving forward with Smiley’s thanks to him. Keep up the great work!!

Jeremy G and Chris's team did an absolutely fantastic job. Everyone, specifically Rick, went above an beyond to help provide my family with a new Trane system for our house after we discovered that our old system was failing. We shopped around to several other companies and no one could match Smiley's prices, level of detail and transparency, and just down to earth customer service. We had two crews come out to install our downstairs and upstairs units, and everyone was professional and courteous. Even when I had questions during the installation I reached out to Rick and the team working on my house. We figured out the issue and found a solution without pausing the install or postponing things. I can't say enough kind words for just how much we appreciate this company. We are customers for life! Please do yourself a favor and call them when pricing out your Heating & Cooling needs.

I called around 2:30 PM on a Saturday for an emergency appointment, and Chris called to let me know he was on the way. I also received a text message with tracking, which I really appreciated. He arrived around 6:30 PM.

He was very knowledgeable, quick, and efficient. He explained everything clearly and took the time to answer all of my questions. I’m very thankful for the prompt and professional service, especially given the timing and weather.

Harold was very personable! Professional and efficient. He told us what he was going to do and updated us when he was finished reminding us that the office would be in touch to schedule our next maintenance service. You should consider him a valuable asset!

Thank you so much Smiley’s for being available for emergencies after hours! My heat went out all of a sudden and I spent hours trying to get help to fix it then I Googled, found Smiley’s, and gave them a call. My lifesaver Zach O told me he could be out to my home within 40 minutes and he got here right on time, in fact I believe it was sooner. Smiley’s also has a tracker to where you can see the driver and their ETA. Zach O was very professional, attentive, knowledgeable, and so kind. He made sure I understood what was happening and answered all of my questions (and my parent’s questions too). He was able to fix my heat and get it going in a timely manner. My home is only 2yrs old and I was in conversation on a maintenance agreement with another company but after the excellent service I received with Smiley’s, I went ahead and obtained a maintenance agreement with them. I am very grateful for Zach O and Smiley’s for being prompt, efficient, and so helpful. Definitely recommend them to anyone in the Hampton Roads area especially if you’re looking for a seamless process!

Wonderful service my technician Zach is very knowledgeable and walked me through everything step by step. I especially appreciated the foot covering each time he had to go from outside to inside the home. Great service would definitely recommend this company.

Dakota was very friendly, relatable, and respectful. After his inspection and cleaning, he clearly explained his findings. He didn't have any recommendations because the system was in good performance. I appreciate him not trying to upsell me on another service.

He inspected my furnace, with everything running as expected there were no maintenance recommendations.

3 guys came out and spent the day with us installing our new TRANE SYSTEM.. Wonderful! Haven’t had heat in the upper bedrooms in a year and a half. Boy was that a shock. Highly professional team and excellent workmanship. Glad we called them.

Recently we had one of our HVAC units break and needed to replace it. After getting several quotes Smileys provided the best rate for a better unit than the others. David Rasberry, helped us make an informed decision to replace both units. While waiting for units to be installed, second unit stopped working. Smileys sent out a tech to see what they could do. He worked for over an hour, but wasn't able to get it running. They showed up even though we hadn't technically started our contracted service. The installation team was excellent, Brandon Kirbyand, Jack Strzalko and team had everything installed, cleaned up within a few hours. They made sure I understood how to operate the new system. Highly recommend this company!

Just had my hvac replaced. The old one was in desperate need of replacement. It was as I like to call it the Landlord Special. The price was just right. I would 100,000% A+ recommend

Smileys continues to exceed my expectations. I originally hired them to replace my HVAC system - which went flawlessly. Then I had an electrical issue. I called and they had a person out same day. Call me amazed. I expected to have to wait weeks. That might not be true all of the time, but today, was exceptional. Thank you for another great experience. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED AND APPRECIATED

Josh and his crew were efficient and a pleasure to work with. One item that I asked him to correct was a broken pvc drain from the garage unit to outside of the house, this was not done.

Sedrick and the young gentleman he had with him in training were absolutely AWESOME and professional. The were very informing on what they were going to do and did exactly that. The young gentleman in training, I forgot his name. You can tell he is going to be very good in this profession and go far in life. He was very professional, firm handshake, saying Yes Sir, and both had a sense of humor. It is very refreshing to know that there are still people like that in this world. I definitely recommend to Smiley 's giving these two gentlemen some type of award/recognition for a job well done. They both represent your company very well.

I was referred to Smiley’s Heating company from a coworker. I initially met with the sales rep who was on time, friendly, and very informative. I ended up going with Smileys to replace my heating system. The work was scheduled about two weeks out. The technicians came, who were also punctual and friendly. Of course I would have one of the more complicated units to replace, the job took a little over 8hours. The technician explained and answered all of my concerns once done and I was informed that my ductwork would next need attention. Which I fully intend on using them. The guys wrapped up and made sure all areas were cleaned up. I was very impressed with their work and would highly recommend their company!

I called them around 1030 because our A/C pipes had frozen, and a couple hours later a tech had arrived. He was courteous and professional and got the job done quickly without any unnecessary small talk. I will definitely use them again in the future.

John was very responsive and provided me a great deal with a new AC unit in which my old one practically failed right before our eyes. Usually I'd do a lot of research into utilities and appliances but John was the go-to within our neighborhood and I did not hesitate when he quoted me his services.
