Very honest and reliable company. I had a leak in my house and thought I needed a new chimney cap. They came out and inspected my chimney and provided me with a solution that I could do myself. Thank you and you will always be my first call for any chimney needs that may arise.

Jason came to our home to check our gas fireplace. He cleaned it and thoroughly tested it and it is working! He was on time and very pleasant. Can’t say enough about the service!😀

The owner conduct speaks volumes, nasty, rude, and determine to scam innocent individuals as soon as an issue appears from their work they disappear. It's a pattern with this company don't claim or take accountability for poor craftsmanship and low class workers. It's rotten from the head up.

These guys are great! Professional, on time and highly skilled. The issue was not fully solved initially, but they came right back, corrected everything, and didn't charge anything extra - said they would keep coming back if the issue wasn't fixed. It was. I recommend them big time.

Horrible company they could not get it right with fixing my leak. Once they have your money good luck having them comeback. ****It took you a year to respond ridiculous and a shame. Probably no longer in your system because your company took my money and moved on. I was a client and need to warn everyone and anyone to be cautious when dealing with your company. Coast Chimney came out today - Jason did a great job. He removed a large amount of built up creosote and glaze. He was quick and efficient.

Prompt service great experience, on time! They even took the time to reattach a brick that had fallen out on the outside of my chimney that wasn't even part of the original scheduled work! They did a Great job! We are loving being able to now use are fire place!

Excellent experience with Coastal, from the time I called the office and set my appointment until the tech Jason finished my cleaning and repair. Everyone I spoke with was kind and professional. Jason called ahead and showed up on time, was polite, answered all my questions and concerns, completed the cleaning/ repairs efficiently, and left my house as clean as it was when he arrived. Very pleased with Coastal Chimney and Contracting. They were friendly and helpful over the phone, and they were able to schedule an appointment for servicing our old gas fireplace within just a few days. The technician arrived on time and was friendly, very knowledgeable and was able to clean and inspect our gas fireplace efficiently -- and without any issues. We now have a working fireplace and peace of mind that it is operating safely. Highly recommend this company!

Very responsive! No muss, no fuss, just fixed the chimney cap at a reasonable price.

I feel compelled to share my experience with Coastal Chimney & Contracting regarding a $3,500 gas insert fireplace installation project. Their technician/project bidder, Adam, was polite and initially responsive. He was actually the primary reason I chose them over lower-bid competitor (Keithans Gas and Chimney Services) The scheduling process has been extremely disappointing.

Timeline of events:

Initial contact: December 9, 2024
Current date: February 22, 2025
5 canceled/rescheduled appointments
Multiple no-show instances without prior notification

The most frustrating aspects have been:

Repeated requests to confirm appointments that were subsequently canceled
No proactive communication about cancellations
Being redirected between various "divisions" despite being a small company
Having to take multiple days off work for appointments that never occurred

While I understand weather conditions and unexpected situations can affect scheduling - I want them to be safe and understand some project need to bye dry. But the lack of basic communication and professional courtesy is unacceptable for a company. I've missed days of work to sit at my house waiting for them to show up. As a potential customer, you should be prepared for:

Extensive delays - there's always someone else they have to schedule first
Poor communication - Adam gave me his business card but his voicemail box is full and doesn't return calls or text
The need to constantly follow up even though they send confirmations and then just say they were mistakenly sent.

The quality of their work may be excellent, but I cannot speak to that as I'm still waiting for the project to begin after more than two months of scheduling attempts. Here's a copy of the appointments and quote - hopefully this saves someone a headache like we are going through.
