A-1 was extremely responsive. Our heat went out and while the manufacturer said it would took FIVE days to come out to service it (in 20 degree weather), and Owen's and every other place was booked out over a week, A-1 came out within hours. Chris and Jacob were phenomenal. Chris took the time to explain everything they did to service the unit, gave us some pointers on how to troubleshoot on our own next time. Very polite, professional gentlemen. Thank you!

Jordan came out to assess a water leak under the house. Within 5 minutes he was able to give me the good news of a simple $350 fix instead of the multiple thousands I was expecting after I looked at the problem initially. Got us up and running in just a few minutes. Great service, on time, same day. Can’t thank you guys enough.

Jake did a wonderful job. Worked hard until the job was done and made sure it was done correctly. Kept us informed about any issues that needed addressing. Also made sure we knew about our warranty, what we need to do as far registering our unit and frequency of filter changes and yearly checkups. Would highly recommend A-1 American (especially Jake)!

Incredible service provided. Called on Wednesday, complete new heatpump and AHU installed on Saturday. It would have been installed on Friday but I had to work and couldn't be home. Office staff Misty and Sam were great. Doug and his install team (sorry I didn't get their names) were awesome, ripped out old system and had new system installed in about 4 hours. I would absolutely recommend A-1 American for your HVAC needs.

I had a great experience with A-1 American! From the beginning, scheduling with the amazing staff was very easy and they made me feel important even though the job I called for was not an emergency. They got me set up with an appointment right away to have my water heater and toilet replaced by Adam and Zach. These technicians were extremely knowledgeable, upfront about pricing, and were very friendly. I am not knowledgeable in plumbing but Adam and Zach took their time explaining the appliances to me before and after installation so I knew exactly what to expect. I am confident in the work performed and will call this company without a doubt for my future needs. Thanks guys!

last Saturday I had a plugged kitchen sink and a plugged bathroom sink. I called A1 for help Friday and they added me to Sat. List. About. 4pm I got a call from a plumber just leaving Portsmouth and “would I like to have him stop by in about 30 mins. I told him yes and was here in 20 mins. My plumber, Jordan, came in , explained all of the plans and had them fixed and working 100 percent within the hour.
I am an older, retired vet, but I found myself extremely pleased with this young tech. He started with a very firm handshake, looked me square in the eyes when talking to me and knew exactly what he was talking about. It is such a pleasure to find a younger generation wanting willing and able to work.

Jordan, you. Belong right where you are and A 1 you need to appreciate your employees like him. They truly are the makings of a great company.

A1 did a great job! We had a pipe to break at the outside water spigot. On top of that the pipe located in foundation. From the dispatcher, Misty, was so assuring and helpful. Her care and friendly & professional nature let me know that I had found the right company. John came right out, planned the work out and communicated the plan. He did such a great job! Jake from A-1 American was top notch. He troubleshooted our HVAC issue extremely thoroughly and properly resolved our issue, while clearly communicating to me what he was doing, every step of the way. He was friendly, respectful, efficient and timely. He will 100% be our HVAC guy moving forward. We received other quotes for repair from other companies that spent a small fraction of the time compared to Jake investigating the issue and quoted us 10x the amount Jake did. He is honest, fair and very knowledgeable in his field! Would recommend him again and again!

Ray, Chris, and the other gentleman(I’m, sorry I didn’t get his name!) that came to replace my heating unit were absolutely incredible. They were respectful of my home, and kept me updated. I have kind of a crazy schedule and they worked around it so I could get my heat replaced in the middle of the blizzard warning we were getting this winter!!! My dad is on deployment and they were able to work with me so I could get heat while he was away. THANK YOU!

Nick had to jackhammer our bathroom to get to the leaking pipe. He not only cleaned every spec of dust up, he placed our bathroom tiles back down perfectly; you can’t even tell he was there or that we’d had a major issue. Nick is the bomb, and we have trusted A1 American with our plumbing, A/C and furnace needs for the past 15 years. What a wonderful company!

Can't say enough. Helped me on an attic conversion. Installed 2 minisplits, one on each end of the attic. FANTASTIC JOB! It is so hard to find good quality contractors these days, Matt is one of them. BZ.

Reached out to Mini Split Matt and in no time had an over the phone estimate and an install date. Two days later the crew showed up on time, we talked through install options and I had a working system in a couple hours. With temps in the 30's on the day of installation I was registering 70° inside my 3 car garage within 24 hours. These guys are fast and professional, would definitely recommend!

Quick service and great communication during the whole process. I used the online sign up process on Saturday and before noon on Monday I was scheduled and install was flawlessly completed! Great customer service! My garage is ice cold and humidity is perfect! Highly recommend this company!

We had Mini Split Mat install Mitsubishi unit . The process was smooth. The team is highly qualified, professional and affordable. They also are great with repair. I had a good experience in the past with them for fixing another unit installed by a different company that broke down within a year but after Mini Split Mat repaired it, it has been flawless!

These guys were fantastic. They were able to turn around the whole process very quickly. All of the employees that I dealt with were phenomenal and extremely polite and friendly. For the price for the customer service for the help In getting the project done I highly recommend this company.

What a wonderful experience. The technicians kept us informed wrt their arrival time and arrived when scheduled. They began work promptly and did a bang up installation. The next day they finished, the quality control person came and did a thorough inspection finding only a couple of minor issues which were promptly corrected. I would recommend this company to anyone wanting to install a min split system.
