Jake Blackburn came in and installed our brand new a.c. unit . His expertise is phenomenal, he new exactly what the problem was right away. He does great work I would definitely recommend him. And he was professional and explained to me every step of the way . With a fast return time . Thumbs up!!

Jake was a very pleasant gentleman. He completed the repair on my A/C unit in a timely manner. I would recommend him, and use him in future problems.

We used AHS for our insurance and the time that we needed our AC to get fix, they sent A-1 Heating/Cooling Llc. I was so disappointed to the first person ( a lady) who came to our house. She gave us an 8-9am scheduled so I took a day off from work because I was expecting her to come on the scheduled time but she ended coming to our house around 8-9 pm and left almost 11 pm and still our AC wasn't fixed and that's another disappointment again..She gave us another scheduled to comeback the following week. We needed to wait again and deal without AC.. The good thing is the time that they need to come back, they sent another person and I believed the names are Julian and Andy. Thank God that 2 guys were so good. They knew what they were doing and they even explained to us every detail of the problem and how they gonna fix it. Both of them (Andy & Julian) had so much patience and they're both friendly and easy to talk to... the company might need another employee like them... 👍 👌 Outstanding job for both of you 👏

Had a drain stoppage. Nick came and snaked out the line. About 75ft was required. Took about 40 min. Great work on the day before Thanksgiving but considerably more expensive than 4 years ago when I had a similar job done by A-1 American.

They came to do a checkup on my unit. The serviceman was very insightful on any issues and was great to work with. Definitely a good company to call

A-1 American has never let me down. They come promptly today for emergency and regular service when others like Michael and Sons have failed

A-1installed my ac, air handler, and hot water heater in my attic.. They also have replaced three toilets for me.

A-1 Plumbing deserves an A+ for their service yesterday. The plumber Keon and is helper Sherman did a fantastic job fixing a problem leaking bathtub faucet. A-1 will be my new go to company for all my Plumbing and Heating & Cooling needs in the future. They even noticed a leak in the supply line of my toilet I didn't notice.

James was the technician assigned to troubleshoot this problem. He was very efficient in diagnosing the problem and luckily the part was available. He picked up the part and installed it very quickly and confirmed that the heating system was operating correctly.

The gentleman who installed my water heater was very nice and I would recommend a-1 services to everyone I know. He wasn't the only person very kind and wonderful. She helped me with getting financed and walked me thru everything. Thank you A-l For the wonderful service

Nick, did a wonderful job cleaning out our sewage drain. Sewage was backing up into our yard. Nick cleaned out the drain and cleaned up the yard so our dog wouldn't get into it. Thank you A1 American for coming out on the Christmas weekend.

Adam was the technician who performed my service. I have never had any technician more knowledgeable on any of the multiple technical issues I've encountered during the sixty plus years I have owned my homes. I would unquestionably recommend Adam for any plumbing service offered by A-1 American.

There isn’t a single industry in the area that is not affected by the corruption, lack of training, illiteracy and poor work ethics of the local labor force. Both prior A/C businesses I have used since moving here were chosen from evaluating their ads as I did with A-1. Both cost me $$$$ in fraudulent repairs and improper installation.

The 4 Stars, vice 5, represents the fact that I felt that the technician, Mr. Jake Blackburn, who arrived during my emergency, was competent and intent on completing the repair and rectifying elements of another poor installation beyond the vision of the local inspector. Were it possible to give the technician a 5+ separately I would.

In this area trying to get a contractor to properly write the information needed for my records often causes anger and in instances an incomplete repair. I have received the written efforts made by some persons to comply but I could not save nor submit the item to my insurance company because of the illiteracy.

Mr. Blackburn had no such afflictions and detailed everything in long hand he found that needed repair and included images of everything he wrote about…without complaint.

I would hope that all their technicians are capable, non-combative and literate but I would first ask if Mark is available.

A1 American was a pleasure to work with. They were so easy to deal with. From the lady who answered the phone to Jake my technician. Jake went over and above to ensure the job was completed in a superior manner. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing Services.

My AC stopped working and then I called A1 the next day. They had a technician come out the day after and he gave us a few options plus a military discount. He was very confident and efficient. He came out the following day and replace my whole AC stop system within five hours. I definitely would recommend Jake Blackburn to anyone with any AC issues. I definitely will use this company in the future if I have to again.

Service was great! They were able to come out the same day, which i was so thankful for. Keon was very professional, he explained what he had to do to fix the problem. He was courteous and had a great overall personality.

Mr. Martin is amazing. We had an emergency pipe burst. He keep in contact with me until he could get to us. So knowledgeable. Told me step by step what he needed to do. Told me the cost. Bam! Done. Totally recommend A-1....Mr. Marvin for sure.

The plumber, Nick was very friendly and personable. He was very knowledgeable and explained to us what needed to be done. We are very happy and relieved that our water leak has been repaired.

First, let me start with customer service in the VB office. I was treated as a real customer and received return calls and up dates throughout the proess of repair. Second, when service arrived, Doug, the service rep jumped right in and diagnosed the problem, had parts on his truck and repaired my unit in less than an hour. Many thanks to A-1

Response to A-1: You say you back your work but you DIDN'T! Action vs words. First. I didn't request a specific tech why would that matter? A dual tech didn't come out you sent a HVAC tech for that work and I paid that $300 invoice, and a plumber for the drain line I paid $1200. I gave history of the house and that the house was vacant to whomever took my appointment and to the tech that came out. We did not need any pipe work done and none was suggested. The FACT is you came to clear a pipe that backed up 2 days later when the house became occupied. So that means nothing was PUT down the lines from the time you "cleared the line". YOU DID NOT CARE AND DID NOT BACK YOUR WORK! No I won't be submitting anything to admin you had your chance to correct things when I called and spoke to the office manager. You should stop spinning every bad review to the fault of the customer and own your mistake, correct it and use it to get better. That's what a reputable company would do. Clearly you are no longer that!

TOO EXPENSIVE AND DO NOT BACK THEIR WORK! We have used A-1 in the past with great service and reasonable pricing. We called them out to snake the main line and service the HVAC system. The guy who showed up for the plumbing was nice and courteous. They were there for less than an hour and charged us $1200 for 50 feet or less of clearing. The first day of moving in (2 days later, with no one living in the house) it backed up again. We called them back and the women who answered said they would not come back out unless we paid again! When asking why it was so much compared to the $500 previously paid for a main line she said they raised prices 3 time already this year and will most likely raise them 2 more times before the end of the year. Did not care and was bothered that we even called. Do not waste your time and money on this company. Don't know what happened but it's not the same company it once was.
