I was searching all around VB for a part for my kitchen sink. A guy from ACE hardware told me to check this place. A little intimidating for me to walk in and see a bunch of men and have no idea the name of the part I'm asking for. But good thing I brought it with me. I showed the guy at the desk and he was back in less than one minute ready to check me out. I am beyond grateful to finally have the part but super impressed but the customer support and the speediness of the service. Thanks guys.

Go to Comet Plumbing before you call a $200/hr plumber! They have a brilliant crew who quickly resolve your issue! I was trying to rebuild a faucet. I could not get any help from HD or LOWES staff HD told me to "google" it!!!. Comet staff saw what I had in my hand when I walked in the door, and 45 seconds later, I had a completely rebuilt faucet valve in my hands! Amazing!

Highly recommend. These guys are great, always helpful and point me in the right direction if they don’t have the part available. Should always stop here before the big box store!

The Handel for the shower handle for our pool facilities at Chesapeake Bay Diving was broken. Numerous attempts of the “universal” fit were to no avail. I walked in to Comet set the handle down, the gentleman behind the counter walked away, returned in less the 15 seconds with a brand new one. He just looked at it and knew what was needed, way cool and now my new plumbing store.

Called in looking for nibco hose spigot valve internal repair kits for my house. Emailed in a pic to the gentleman working the counter, he was very friendly and knowledgeable. I went up and picked up the products and he gave me some pointers for install. Already have them both installed and they are working marvelously. I'm very happy with the products and professional assistance I recieved today from comet plumbing supply. Highly recommend.

Cheap, very helpful and so kind !!

I brought in some worn parts for my outdoor spigot that are no longer made, hoping they would have replacements on hand. Instead, 5 minutes and $2 later, they had new gaskets and screws installed and were ready to go and worked perfectly. Skip the big box stores and let these good folks help you save some money.

Walked in and spent about five minutes in here because the man ( didn't catch his name) knew exactly what to grab from the piece I had. I'm so grateful and saved me such a headache! Highly recommend!!

Have a Groe faucet head that was not working properly. The buttons were sticky and the flow was poor. I had tried to find a new one and could not. I went in today and was told that a new one was $425 (almost as much as the entire faucet new) and discontinued. " Hey why don't we try to repair it"? 10 minutes later......done and works perfectly now. These folks are friendly, knowledgeable, and ready to help. I have used them for other things in the past and cannot say enough nice things about them....

Comet Plumbing is definitely the place to get all your plumbing needs, especially if the parts are old. I normally would give Comet Plumbing 5 starts but in this particular occasion, I bought a Kohler cartridge that was faulty and even though they acknowledged that the part was faulty because the new one that I purchased fixed my issue, they couldn't take it back and refund me because it was marred. I had to use a pair of pliers to pull the part out. It was a little frustrating that day because I had to go back and forth to Comet Plumbing 3 times, which took a better part of my day traveling to/from. Bottom line: you have to make sure that the part is not marred or damaged in any way in order to return it for a refund. It's frustrating because if the part/tool is faulty at a Big Box store like Home Depot, I have had no problem returning the item. They RTV (Return To Vendor) the item. I've been going to Comet Plumbing many times and this is the ONLY negative experience I have had. I felt that I needed to put this review in as due diligence to make other customers aware so they wouldn't assume like I did. A private store has different policies than a Big Box store, and it is understandable.

They know what a homeowner needs to make proper repairs. Very friendly and have never belittled me eventhough I am a women. Highly recommend

Mr Earl saves the day and me another $25. By bringing in my old shower valve stem, he was quick to realize that there was a piece remaining in the pipe that was interfering with the new install. He could have sold me another stem but by giving me that advice he saved me a trip back to store and a big headache.

I had a diy plumbing emergency with a discontinued pipe. They closed at 5 pm, and I was racing from Home Depot (who recommended that I try Comet) at about 4:45, calling Comet to make sure they didn’t get caught unaware while trying to close the store. By the time I got there they had already collected everything I needed, and explained how to fix my problem. They had me fixed up and running home within 5 minutes, costing about $20 in parts, and the fix was a success! Thank you so very much for your help!

If you are a happy homeowner who doesn't know jack about plumbing... this is your place. I have never had a problem they can't help me with. I can show them a part or a picture and they know exactly what I need. Haven't been able to stump them yet. I wish more places were like this. Thanks Comet plumbing. 😎

I had a leaky spigot from a house built back in the 40's. I don't know how old the spigot was, but I couldn't find any of the washers I needed at the 'big-box stores'. I brought in the valve stem assembly to Commet Plumbing Supply. They identified what was needed, and also pointed out a previous owner's "quick fix" that had deteriorated withinin the packing nut. 15 minutes later they handed me a cleaned-up, rebuilt valve stem assembly. I re-installed the assembly and my spigot is leak-free. They had the know-how and on-site inventory to fix my issue, and I can't say enough about their quick and courteous customer service!

Very good service and they made my home project 10 times easier! I will definitely be coming back for my next project!

Just visited Comet Plumbing and Supply for the first time, and I’m so glad I did! I never even knew this place existed, but I’ll definitely be back. I had a leaking sink and couldn’t find the right valve assembly anywhere. As soon as I walked in, the gentleman saw the parts in my hand, immediately knew what I needed, and helped me out. Now, instead of paying for a whole new faucet, I can fix my sink at a fraction of the cost. Fantastic service and knowledge!
