I couldn’t have asked for a better experience considering the circumstances. Kriston was such a pleasure to work with and was very through in explaining to me what was going on with my plumbing issue and how he was going to rectify it. He is incredibly knowledgeable and you can tell he loves his job and what he does. I also had the pleasure of working with Steve and his camera (that was totally cool in a gross way), and once again throughly explained what was going on with my pipes and our options going forward. I will 100% be using rotorooter for all my plumbing needs from here on out, as long as Kriston is the tech that comes out. Thank you again!!

This morning clogged toilet with water seeping out from the base. Called Roto Rooter the technician, Mike, was here within an hour. Very knowledgeable, friendly guy and toilet is working great. We even have better water pressure in sink faucet! I am extremely pleased! I will definitely call Roto Rooter again!!

Phenomenal service! I’d give it 6 stars if I could. Kriston is a true professional; he resolved our plumbing issue(s) in a timely manner and explained everything throughout the process. I greatly appreciate how respectful he was to us and our home throughout the process.

We had a main sewer line clog and our technician Kriston was awesome. Very professional, timely and knowledgeable. He walked us through everything he was doing step-by-step and even went out of the way to make servicing/accessing our clean-out even easier for future services.

These are the guys you want to call. They were amazing! I had a hot water pipe freeze and burst one of the nights it was 17 degrees recently.

They came out right after I called them the next morning, knew within moments what the problem was, and had coordinated with their water restoration division in no time.

Over the next week as they finished the work (they had to put fans in the crawlspace), they stayed in contact with me, made sure any questions I had were answered and in general were just so cool, polite and knowledgeable. They knew just what to do when it came to my homeowners’ insurance too.

They made what could have been a difficult situation into one that was stress-free. I couldn’t have been more impressed.

The two gentlemen that helped me were very helpful and respectful. They came at 11 at night and stayed until the job was done, they also gave me a decent discount. Highly recommend them. :)

We had a main water blockage and the company was available to come the same day but due to previous obligations on our end we had to schedule for the following morning. When technician Mike V. arrived he was very professional. It appeared our issue had been resolved when we arrived back home the previous evening but Mike V. took the time to troubleshoot and ensure our issue was truly resolved. Upon troubleshooting we discovered the issue was still present. He acted quickly to get our pipes cleared. When he inspected our pipes he discovered their was issues with the city pipes and instructed me to call the city to notify them and have them come out to inspect. He was very helpful and resolved all issues we were experiencing and even gave great advice for the next time we experience plumbing issues. I would totally recommend him and call and request him for future issues we experience.

Mike V installed our water heater and he was amazing. He was prompt, professional, understanding of the children and dogs. He also was knowledgeable and helped us make the right decision regarding the water heater. The heater works beautifully and overall we are pleased with the work!

The service I received was second to none. The whole crew was professional and worked efficiently to fix the multiple issues in my home. Everyone was patient and explained each step of the process. From Johnathan the initial technician on scene to James and Darren the supervisors to Brock who fixed the pipes and Jesse and Fred the team that came every day to manage the moisture levels. It was a absolute pleasure having Kriston come and do the repairs in my home. He was very professional and pleasant. He even cleaned up behind himself. Roto Rooter Kriston is awesome and you guys are very luck to have him on your team!!

The tech was polite and capable. He unclogged my sewer line, in about an hour, with positive results.

In addition, they followed up with a complimentary sewer line camera inspection, which revealed the deteriorating condition of my old system. It's hard to argue with that kind of direct evidence, so it was very useful.

However.... The fee they charged caused me a bit of "sticker shock.". I've had this company here in the past, and I'm pretty sure I paid about half of what they wanted this time to unclog my sewer line. They were able to "apply a discount," which helped some. I needed the job done, so I didn't argue too much, but ... You might want to ask for a ballpark estimate before you get too far.

Mike V arrived on time and did excellent work clearing a clog in my main line. He also replaced the toilet cutout valve for me because it was leaking by. Explained everything in great detail that made sense to me and gave updates very frequently during his time here. Overall amazing work. Convinced me to use Roto Rooter as my go to plumbing company from now on.

Jim was great - he was responsive, knew exactly what needed to be fixed within seconds of looking at our toilet, and had all the parts ready to go. He was up front about costs and provided great value. We will definitely use him again for our plumbing needs!

Had a leaky pipe under the kitchen sink that required modification of the existing pipe runs to fit properly. Jim performed excellent work and we plan to use him again for any plumbing needs.

Jim was outstanding. He replaced and improved the irrigation system back flow preventer. He communicated throughout the entire process. He handled all the permitting and scheduled the inspection. He also secured the whole new installation and listened to my desire to make winterizing easier than previously done. He hit the winterizing request out of the park. Jim’s experience paid off in spades!!

He was great with the dogs as well!!!

Jim was excellent, but make sure you get the correct Bertolino Plumbing. Only Jim delivers best-in-class pricing combined with almost 40 years of experience. There are other Bertolino’s in Tidewater, but only one Jim!!

We called Jim to fix what we thought was just a kitchen drain clog. He arrived on time and once he began working, he found out it was much worse than a simple clog. Turns out our plumbing in the kitchen was almost entirely corroded - 60 year old galvanized steel pipes! We knew this was a risk when we purchased the house but it's never a convenient time to repair something like that. He and his team walked us through every step of the process and took the time to show us exactly what he was doing as he was working through it. Cabinets and drawers had to be removed but his team put everything back in place exactly as they found it. They spent hours meticulously repairing all of the damage and had everything he needed (some really rare parts) on his truck. They were polite and courteous enough to make sure they didn't wake the sleeping baby (even played with our dog for a minute). When they finished, they spent extra time cleaning up. Everything is back to working as it should be and the kitchen was left spotless. You can tell he's been doing this for a long time... Only one I trust around here! Thankful for his solid work & expertise.

Jim was very responsive, coming out to fix our clogged drain within 24hours (no extra charge for Saturday appointment). He is very knowledgeable and offered the best, honest service I have experienced in a long time. I will definitely refer friends and family. Very satisfied with the service and they will be our plumbing company from now on. No need to call anyone else.

We found a huge puddle of water under our water heater and didn't quite know what to do. Immediately, we started calling plumbers and they all told us that we'd have to wait and pay for a technician to come look at our problem, and then try to find next steps (we didn't have the time for that). Finally, we found Jim online and he answered our call immediately. He talked to my husband for almost 15 minutes explaining what he believed could be going on, our options on different types of water heaters, and what services he could provide us. He was at our house just a few hours later--ready to work! Upon fixing the water heater, we still heard a sound that didn't seem quite right. Instead of just ignoring it, Jim poked around to find the issue. We actually had a pipe leaking! Even though he had already been at our house for a few hours and it was night time at this point, Jim and Rudy were willing to continue to work. They could tell we were stressed about the situation and did not want to leave it unfinished for another time. Ultimately, they stayed until they fixed all our problems, did so at a very reasonable price, and took the time to explain everything. Highly Recommend!
