I have utilized Bettius Mechanical services for over 10+ years for air conditioning, heating and other services and repair , including annual inspections. Mr. Bettius and staff have always been excellent with service and response to any service needed. I have always felt pricing/ cost of services were very fair and not inflated, and I have recommended Bettius Mechanical many times to family and friends.

My front air handler went bad and was leaking into my neighbor's unit. Mike Bettius came by that very evening to inspect the problem and was able to install a new air handler and heat pump the next day. This included getting the heat pump onto the roof of a 4-story walkup and my condo was cool that evening. He had to special order the air handler door, which took several weeks to get it installed (purely cosmetic), but I didn't have to pay anything until the whole job was completed. I didn't get other actual estimates, but his prices seemed very fair from looking online. He also gave me a couple of options about units I could install and didn't charge more for putting in the more expensive unit, which is how it should work but often doesn't. He had to cut out a portion of my wall to get the new air handler installed. I was responsible for the drywall and paint repair, but he also recommended somebody who I used and who did such a good job with that that I hired him for 2 more painting jobs. Finding a great house painter was an added bonus I wasn't expecting. All-in-all, the job went smoothly, quickly, and it was affordable. I couldn't have asked for more. I would definitely use him again if I have other HVAC needs.

Landlord for over 20 years. Finally, an air conditioning repair person who isn't trying to up-sell or charge outrageous prices. Based on past experiences, my SOP has become: get the estimate, get parts somewhere else, and repair myself. I cannot count the times over the years that an AC person has come out with the boilerplate response -- "you need a new igniter and capacitor which will cost $250 EACH to repair". What a JOKE for such repairs. Let alone whether such repairs were even needed. Bettius Air is not like this. Their prices are so reasonable and experience so superior, that even if I could self repair for a little cheaper, I, in most cases, would not. With Bettius, my most recent diagnosis AND repair was cheaper than the diagnosis fee alone of a larger, well known AC company. I can't imagine what I would have paid (diagnosis cost + repair cost) if I had gone with the other company. Thank goodness I went with Bettius.

It took years, but I have finally found an AC person I could TRUST and RESPECT. Super experienced and reasonable pricing. Yes!! at least one exists. Bettius Air is my goto company for AC repair. I highly recommend Bettius!!! I would give more stars if I could.

Highly Recommend. He did some duct work for us. Gave us an estimate and fitted us in the next day as we were in a hurry. Work was completed on time and no surprise charges. When our AC had some unrelated issues later on, he prioritized our call as existing customers and was there within hours to help. If you want someone who will do an honest repair for a fair price, this is your man.

I've used Mike 3 or 4 times now. He's honest about what needs to be done, he shows up promptly, and he has very fair prices. On top of all that he's honestly a good guy. I tried 5 or 6 other HVAC companies in the area before I found him and will continue to use him for as long as possible. I've never had a better experience with any service company (HVAC or otherwise) and couldn't recommend him more.

If you’re looking for top knotch HVAC support, high quality workmanship, and great prices without all the gimmicks and sales pushes, Bettius HVAC is the one! I just bought my first home and needed a new HVAC (both furnace and AC). Being a complete novice and a female, it is so easy to see the games some of these companies play. I got 5 different quotes from small HVAC companies to big and everything in between. Mike Bettius was a recommendation from my coworker and I am so thankful. Mike is a straight shooter and respects the customer, there are no sales games being played with him. He truly takes pride in his work and his company. There are no sales pitches or trying to upsell. It’s a rarity to find an honest man with great skill who isn’t taking advantage of consumers who don’t know HVAC. He wasn’t the cheapest quote I obtained but was absolutely the best. Custom metal work included. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

We called Mike about an issue we had with our heat pump not turning on. He arrived arrived 45 minutes later and had the heat back up and running in less than an hour. We couldn’t be happier with the job he did. He is extremely polite, works quickly and makes sure to get the job done as fast as possible. We will definitely recommend in the future!!

Mike Bettius has been servicing our heating and air conditioning units in our over 40-year-old townhome for more than 10 years. Mike is extremely knowledgeable and honest. He's also very fast and affordable. I highly recommend him!

Mike is awesome. AC died and he swiftly gave me the straight truth. He’s arguably one of the most straight forward, no BS guys I’ve ever met. He allowed me to pay in installments, which helps a great deal. Overall, excellent service and he backs it up with his experience. Definitely would recommend.

He may not be a great driver (as noted by someone) but he’s one hell of a HVAC pro.

We've used Bettius for about 3 years now. We can't say enough good things about him! He's always honest and he never looks to gouge you. He is so accommodating, so much so that he came to our house at 10pm to service the hvac in preparation for an inspection. His work is top quality and he is extremely knowledgeable. His prices are extremely fair. There needs to be more people like him. He's fantastic! If you're looking for someone who won't steer you wrong, he's your guy.

We were in need of a new heat pump system and received two estimates - one from a 'heavily advertised' company and one from Bettius Mechanical HVAC (who we had used previously). Bettius Mechanical HVAC's owner, Mike, gave us a quote that was $4000 less than the other company. Because we knew, from our previous dealings with Bettius, that they were reliable and trustworthy, we went ahead with them for the purchase and installation. Mike installed the new system, with warranty, in a timely, professional and skilled manner. No need to go to anyone else...they get the job done!

I am writing to share our extremely negative experience with Bettius Mechanical HVAC. We hired Mr. Bettius to install a new HVAC system, hoping for a reliable and efficient solution. However, the entire process was a disaster.

The installation was plagued by an issue, and he seemed unable to properly diagnose and resolve the problem. After numerous visits and failed attempts, he simply disappeared, leaving us with a system that is not working properly and no communication.

This company's lack of professionalism, technical expertise, and customer service is absolutely unacceptable. We strongly advise anyone considering their services to look elsewhere.

Recommend Mike and his crew highly. The 17 year old compressor failed on the hottest day of the year and Mike was able to come out to assess the situation the same day. After first confirming that the unit could not be repaired for a reasonable price (which was not a great surprise given its age) we were able to reach a suitable agreement on the cost to replace the outside unit and the coil and Mike was able to come the very next day to undertake the work as the heat wave raged on and the upstairs temperature reached as high as 95 degrees. Mike and his crew completed the work in about a four hour timeframe and by the time we were wanting to go to bed the upstairs temperature was a comfortable 68 degrees. Cannot thank Mike and his crew more for the great work in a very timely manner and a fair price.

Michael has been serving my home for over 3 years now. He has always been fair and took care of any issues I had for a very affordable and reasonable price.

Just recently, I had my HVAC replaced and it was a seamless process with no hiccups. The biggest appreciation I had with Bettius HVAC/Michael is the affordability of the replacement and labor for the new heater and A/C.

I will always be a loyal customer to Bettius HVAC and greatly appreciate their fair pricing and ensuring that the customer is not ripped off.
