I've used TC Services to install a heating system in my townhouse and to install an AC and heating system in my SFH when I moved. Thea is so honest, he's told me when I can do a cheap repair when I couldn't afford a complete new system that other people quoted me. Once I called him and he answered while he was in another COUNTRY and he was still incredibly helpful. He's the best!

TC is highly recommended within our community and even though TC didn't end up performing the repairs we needed, he provided an excellent 2nd opinion on the diagnosis and helped guide us on what we should do to address our issue to save the most money.

Mr. T and his team at TC HVAC Services installed a new heat pump and air handler for my home back in May, and the entire experience was excellent from start to finish. Mr. T is extremely knowledgeable and provided an estimate based on what was appropriate for my home in terms of system sizing. He took the time to answer all of my questions and presented multiple options at different price points. Most importantly Mr. T very honest with you.

On the day of installation, the team worked hard all day and made sure everything was cleaned up afterward. Since the system was installed, I haven’t experienced any issues, and it has been working perfectly. I highly recommend TC HVAC Services; they are very knowledgeable, professional, and reasonably priced.

Thea, the owner / service manager, came out to inspect our AC system and immediately noticed something dangerous: the previous installer had set up the outdoor disconnect without a fuse, which is a major safety issue. Because of that, the wiring had burned and nearly made its way into the house. T patiently explained everything to me--what went wrong, why it was dangerous, and what the proper setup should be.

He recommended replacing the disconnect with a fused version, and clearly laid out the potential risks and what to expect. When we turned the system back on, we were holding our breath... and to our relief, the 10-year-old compressor kicked on just fine.

T could have easily told me I needed a whole new unit, but instead, he was honest, transparent, and incredibly knowledgeable. I even looked up everything he explained afterward--and it all checked out.

By the way, the communication was excellent--I reached out through Yelp and was kept in the loop with email reminders and messaging right through the app. Everything felt smooth and professional from start to finish.

In the attached photos, you can see the burnt wiring and connector from before, and the new fused disconnect they installed. The difference is night and day.

If you want HVAC work done right, by people who take the time to do things safely and explain them clearly, TC HVAC Services is the team to call. I thought the cost for the service was very fair, and I'm really glad I found them.

My mom loves you and wanted me to let the world know "If you are looking for a great HVAC repairman, I highly recommend Michael Bettius. Bettius Mechanical Heating and Air Conditioning. My HVAC quit working and he went onto the roof and found someone had turned off the disconnect to my unit. He refused to charge me anything even tho he came from Woodbridge. Fine and ethical repairman!"

The person, I'm assuming his name is mike, passed me in the bettius van on the right hand side on a single lane road. Besides potentially causing an accident, he told me to go home to my wife when I called him to complain. Not only is he unprofessional he is also a danger to others on the road. DO NOT HIRE!

Michael is a true professional. Competent, fair prices, and most importantly, honest. A master at his craft.

Wow! AC went out on a Sunday night. My wife and I kept calling all the big names and couldn’t get an appointment. I came across Bettius and called - Mike answered and came within an hour. Great prices as well. He has definitely earned my business!

Mike Bettius replaced our heat pump after it conked out during the hottest week of the summer. Mike is a straight-shooter, and he and his crew were hard-working, reliable, and went the extra mile during the installation.

I've used Mike Bettius for heating and air conditioning repairs and general maintenance for over 35 years, and can attest that he is the best, and that you will be pleasantly surprised at his professionalism, honesty, and the price. I hope he doesn't retire any time soon.

Our AC unit went out and after calling in the morning, Mike said he'd be able to come out that night to look at the problem. He was quickly able to diagnose the issue of needing a new capacitor. Within 10 minutes, we were up and running again. Very friendly, and reasonably priced!!

Middle of July temperature is 100, I was away at my son's baseball tournament, and our air conditioner went out at home. Well I called the guy who installed it years ago. He asked when was it installed I said I guess a few years ago, well he looks it up, and it was twelve years ago to be exact. I though well at least I've not had trouble in 12 years so that's good. Anyway, he's in northern Virginia, I'm in Maryland, but he say's he'll come over tonight. I tell him my wife will be there but I'm out of town. He showed up promptly, with his helper, quickly diagnosed the problem (the AC Capacitor) changed it, that night, and was so reasonable, I still sing his praises. So, if you need air conditioning or heating and desire great, honest, prompt, professional work, call Bettius, they're the best.

HVAC went out in the middle of summer. I called and they came out on a holiday! Problem was fixed in about an hour and the charge was very reasonable. We've been using them for about 3 years and have no plans to switch. Previously, I tried out 3 of the larger companies in the area and found their knowledge to be unsatisfactory. Bettius shoots it straight and won't over sell something you don't need.

Highly recommend! This guy is Superman. My AC unit was broken in the heat of summer and I had two technicians (scammers) come by and try to say I need to buy a completely new unit ($6,000), I knew it was BS. I waited a little bit and finally had a friend recommend Bettius, he came by and found/fixed the issue in 30 minutes! Give them a call!

Our air conditioning went out, twenty years old and I didn't know it should have been serviced yearly, oops. Happened in the middle of a heat wave, Labor Day weekend.. Bettius was able to replace our air conditioning the next day. We got a very reasonable price on a more efficient unit. The work looks clean and professional, comes with a 10 year warranty, and most importantly, our house is cooling down!

A life saver! Will definitely would call again.
