Maurice is very professional. A friend recommended him, he gave me a call and was at my house in 30min. My A/C unit was out and thermostat read 84, so it was heating up in my home. Freedom Heating and Cooling is a great choice. Answered contact email immediately, gave honest advice and worked to get our AC up on the hot July day my old GE AC unit died. Thanks to Maurice and his whole crew for getting the job done quickly, politely, and on schedule. They really worked hard and coordination and teamwork was top rank.

Our HVAC system started to fail at the worst time – just before the holidays in December 2022. We called Maurice and he came out the same day. He was very patient, explaining our options and educating us along the way - we ended up replacing our entire system and added on some new upgrades. Maurice was responsive and knowledgeable. My A/C unit went out on a recent 88 degree day in April and he responded immediately. He carefully checked my system while explaining the details in a manner I was able to understand. New parts were required, which he ordered promptly. They came in quickly and he returned for the repairs. Again, he explained the process and showed me what he was doing. His invoice was very detailed, and prices very reasonable. I can’t say enough about his patience, professionalism and communication…even when I asked many questions! My fear as a woman is being taken advantage of by contractors. No need to worry about that with Maurice and Freedom Heating and Cooling!

Maurice was fantastic and I would highly recommend him. I put in a request to have service done and he reached out via a message and followed up via a call. He was very responsive and flexible on scheduling and came out immediately. My home was about 85 before he came out and once he finished it immediately started to drop! He explained all the issues and showed me where our unit had issues and how it should’ve looked. He never just said to do something, instead he explained it to me.

He was very respectful of my home, time, and well being. He answered questions for my 5 year old and engaged in conversations with my 10 year old, all of which was not required.

I cannot say enough good things about this company or person. Highly recommend and will 100% have him as our tech for future needs.

It was Labor Day, so I really wasn’t expecting anybody to be there to help out. Maurice got the call and within an hour was at my house. Did an inspection, and explained to me what he was seeing, and most importantly gave me options! His service was fast and professional. AND RIGHT ON TIME!!!

I had a broken system. Maurice inspected the unit and explained everything in a way I could understand. He provided me with a reasonable estimate, came on time, and did quality work. He placed an emphasis on safety, took care to make sure he was clean, and even went above and beyond by clearing out and taking away junk in my utility room! We reached out to Maurice and he was at our house in 30 minutes working on the Furnace! He did high quality work and had the heat back on quickly. Maurice was very professional, punctual and friendly. He installed a whole new HVAC system for me and stayed all day until he got the job done. He even offered to bring space heaters before I had the replacement done. I liked that he explained everything he was going do and sent me invoices, as requested. I've hired others that were just terrible. They put in new parts when they weren't needed and couldn't even communicate well. I will definitely refer Freedom Heating and Cooling to others and I will call them from now on.

Great and quick service. My unit began leaking water and Maurice came same day to check to see if he could fix my 25 year old unit to buy me some more time. Unfortunately, it wasn’t possible but he was able to replace my unit before the heatwave. The replacement was quicker than expected and reasonably priced. Always great to find someone local and that isn’t trying to rip people off. Couldn’t be more appreciative.

I had a Mitsubishi mini split installed in my basement and am very happy with the results. If your basement stays cool all year long like mine did then this will solve your problems!
