So after moving here from PA and noticing that my hair kept getting more dry and thinner over the past few years, we finally made the decision to splurge on a Whole HOuse filtration system from Aquasana after having our son last year and he ended up with horrible eczema and nothing seems to work beside loading him up with steroid. I did so much research and finally decided to go with the Aquasana Brand. I got 3 different numbers for plumbers when we purchased our Whole House Filtration System from Aquasana and Northern Virginia Plumbing Services was one of them. I ended up choosing to go with Dave and his company because not only the pricing was reasonable compared to the other two, he really took his time to explain the process of this whole thing and what material will be used and the time involved. He was very up front with all the pricing. We did have a few glitches with appointment due to miscommunication on my part but by the time Reid (Dave's brother) finished with the installation, we were very happy! He cleaned up after himself and the whole installation was nice and neat and he labelled EVERYTHING on the pipes so we know what to turn off etc. He even put in a bypass so we wouldn't waste our filtered water on the lawn. This job took him 2 full days and Reid was professional the whole time. And the system works Great!!! My son no longer has eczema and my hair hasn't been falling out like crazy anymore. They are also coming out again 6 months from the time we installed the system to replace the cartridge and to show us how to do it as a courtesy. We are so glad we decided to splurge on a wholehouse filtration system from Aquasan and happier that we went with Northern Virginia Plumbing Services to do the service. I would highly recommend anyone with hard water issue or skin problem to consider the Aquasana System and to get Dave and his company to install for you. You won't regret it. In fact, we were so impressed with them that we called them back to help us with another job in the downstairs bathroom and again, excellent job done! Best price in town, installed two Toto Drakes with free rings and also offers free phone advice to fix a leaking tub drain. They even offered to give me free gasket and loan me tools to fix the tub leak before I call them in for in house consult. Highly recommended.

Helped us with a couple issues, fantastic every time. Had an old propane water heater that wouldn't keep a pilot. They took the time to call around late at night and on the weekend for parts. We ultimately decided to replace the unit. They installed a new water heater and an acid neutralizer system for us. Workmanship was great. Took the time to do things right. Also had the best price. Fast forward a few months and we had a stubborn toilet clog. Came by within a few hours and had everything fixed.

James and Reid were awesome! They came out same day, within a couple hours and replaced my laundry hookup valves that were beyond repair. They even hooked it up and got it working for me. I called Northern Virginia Plumbing Services and the response time was amazing. The technician was able to get the house the very same day I called. He was able to locate the leak with minutes and fixed it in less than an hour, despite the difficult spot the leak was coming from. I even got a discount and the technician was also able to spot and fixed another unrelated issue that could have caused issues in the near future. I am very satisfied with the technician's professionalism and work. Definitely worth reaching out to them for all your plumbing needs.

Great company, if they show up. I don't like nor am I in the habit of giving a negative review, this is only my second ever. Over the 18 months that we contacted them for various plumbing services we had multiple experiences when they didn't show up or even call. It often wasn't until I reached out that they would respond. There were times that I waited to see if they would let me know if/when they were coming, which they didnt. We've had to wait and rearrange our schedules more times than not. It's unfortunate as Reid is very knowledgeable and just a great guy.

I have had nothing but positive experiences each time I’ve used this company! They have proved to be very reliable and dependable, have come out each time with very short notice, and have solved the issue the same day every time. I’ve actually been opting to use them over the other companies that my home warranty provider sends out because they do a much better job in a timely manner and without all the hassle! Reid is amazing at his job and provides quality service that is appreciated. He always not only makes sure to explain what the problem is in layman’s terms (even drawing a picture of it if he has to!), but never tries to upsell or have you do anything that is unnecessary. Dave is also a true professional who makes sure your issues get taken care of quickly. I would definitely rate this company high on integrity which is so hard to find these days. I woke up on 4/14 to no hot water again. I was given the number to the Northern Virginia Plumbing Services from another Plumbing company. I was about to call them and before I could Reed was calling me. Reed came out to deal with a plumbing issue that I have had since "My Plumber" installed my hot water heater. He came over and did a test and determined that it was a leaker. He was so helpful in giving me some wise advise on my next steps and how to contact the warranty company to get an authorization number for him to come out to check my hot water heater. Also, he gave me good information and motivated me to not let "My plumber" get away with what they had done. Reed has been out to my place several times helping me with no pay from me and I truly appreciate it. He has invested many hours on the phone with the manufacturer trying to come up with a resolution. I decided to just get a new hot water heater since the manufacturer was going to give me a new hot water heater. I truly appreciate Reed helping to get me the necessary forms that I need and info to get me on the path to not be dealing with this issue. I bought my hot water heater back in August of 2017 and been having issues since I got it. Thanks to Reed for all of his help and leading me to a path forward. I am set to have a plumber come out today to get my new hot water heater installed. I wished Reed could have installed it but he said that he couldn't. Again, I am so grateful for all of his help and will definitely be calling NOVA Plumbing Services again and I highly recommend them. Absolutely outstanding! Called the day before Thanksgiving, Reid showed up within an hour because he didn’t want us to be down a toilet on Thanksgiving. He was incredibly professional and personable. Our problem was resolved quickly and very reasonably. We have found our go to plumbing service!

These guys are the real deal. I had a Pressure Relief Valve that began leaking late last night on top of that my shut-off valve inside the house was not holding up, therefore I had a small but constant leak that needed some immediate attention. After making a few calls in the morning and getting estimates, I found Northern Virginia Plumbing Services and their pricing was right on point. On top of that I received same day service. Reid Maxwell a Master Plumber stopped by and began working on it, within an hour I had a new high quality Pressure Relief Valve, shut-off valve, and main pipe connecting the two and my water fully working with no leaks. The pricing didn't change, the service was excellent, and the pricing beat the competition by hundreds of dollars. Should I ever need plumbing services again, I know who I will be calling without hesitation. Thanks again guys!

We had an emergency plumbing issue where water was spraying out of the wall and after calling 3 other services who stated they wouldn't be available until the next day, I called Northern Virginia Plumbing Services. This team recognized the emergency and stopped what they were doing and came over within 30 minutes. I was lying on my back with my finger on the hole and this team came in and fixed the problem at a very reasonable price. I was impressed by the professionalism, the response and the craftsmanship. What an amazing team. The technician even thanked me for my Military Service. They really turned a disaster into a manageable calm situation. Would recommend to ANYONE.

Thank you Northern Virginia Plumbing! Reid did a wonderful job in replacing the Pressure Reducing Valve and also installed a pressure gauge so I could monitor - no issues since the install. Reid noticed a potentially dangerous situation with the Expansion Tank on my hot water heater and took care of that issue as well. I highly recommend you give them a call, you will not be disappointed.

Great guys and trustworthy! Scheduled quickly with great communication. Fixed my 1980's shower faucet and have it working like new. Called them again to fix a leaking toilet. These guys are not out to charge you the most expensive repair for the sake of it. In fact both times they recommended the cheaper more practical repair. Nova Plumbing Services installed a 75 gallon water heater in my home back in September. The consultation was very informative, the pricing was fair, and the quality of the work was superior. I called all of the local Woodbridge plumbers just before 5 PM on the day before Thanksgiving when my main kitchen sink line backed up after zero problems in 22 years and nobody could come until Monday!

Then I i made my last call before canceling Thanksgiving -- to a company I had not used before, Northern Virginia plumbing services and after they couldn't send anyone at 6pm they sent Reid at 8 AM on Thanksgiving (!!) and he saved the day for me since I was responsible for cooking and hosting my entire extended family that afternoon.

He even made a quick succinct YouTube video brilliantly explaining my problem in layman terms to me and anyone wanting to learn about it! Now how can I not switch my loyalty from the other very good local companies that I've been using for years?? I have to do so!

Northern Virginia Plumbing Services just installed a new AO Smith Vertex high efficiency water heater in our house. Reid was our service technician and he did a great job throughout. He quickly diagnosed the problem with the old unit, helped tremendously to replace it under warranty and installed the new unit. He took the time at each step to explain the process and ensured the work was done to exacting standards. During the installation, he noted that our house water pressure was very high and he also installed a pressure reducing valve and gauge. He took great care in our house during the whole installation. Reid was very professional throughout, I highly recommend Northern Virginia Plumbing Services!

Read is a true Godsend. He was able to fit me in on the same day I called. He's very knowledgeable and thorough in explaining exactly what the problem is and how it occurred. I was having a problem with my water heater leaking from exchanging my anode. I changed it due to the egg-like smell in the water. Little did I know it was more than that. Read explained that the salt from the water softeners is good for your house but not water heaters. Although I had the right idea, it was already too late because my water heater was already done.

When adding a water softener, you should change and check your anode every 2-3 years which the water specialists failed to mention. This was also the reason I only have hot water for 10 minutes and only one person can shower at a time. FYI, the water heater was only 5 years old. If you add a water softener, make sure you look at replacing your anode with an electric one at the same time.

I asked for a quote on replacement which he gave and then stated to call around for other quotes. Needless to say, after him taking the time to help and educate me it was evident he truly cared. There was no reason to call around for others as good quality service is hard to find so I felt blessed to find him. The icing on the cake was knowing that they are also veteran owned. Couldn't be more satisfied.
