Kevin has been out to our house several times to work on our HVAC, each time he is professional, detailed oriented, and prompt.

Just the best! Installed my ductless system, I couldn’t be happier. A big thank you to the crew for their professionalism and attention to detail.

Super friendly and professional. Let me know he was on his way and did a thorough check of our HVaC system. Really enjoyed visiting with Carter too. Gave us a healthy checkup and replaced our filter.

Carter was awesome this morning. From his prompt arrival through his detailed process he was a total professional. He took the time to explain what he was doing so I could understand. I couldn’t be more pleased!

I have used Jacob and Rhodes since I bought my house several years ago. They came highly recommended to me as they have serviced my families HVAC units for years. I always request Kevin Egger. He is thorough, does a great job and I trust him greatly with servicing my HVAC system. Years ago, he fashioned a little tab onto my unit to hold my filters in place and I still use it to this day. He’s a great asset to Jacob and Rhodes. Plus their annual membership is affordable and worth the price for twice annual maintenance visits.

Writing this review after having to fix the system myself after having a diagnostic visit.
Originally scheduled an appointment online last Saturday for last Monday. Guy comes out and takes roughly 30-45 mins to diagnose the problem.
Our internal motor went out on our main system meaning the unit was getting hot but not pushing air throughout the home.
We are then told it will be $1300 to "get things up and running" and was going to check for more issues after it was up and running. We were a little unsure about it at first but said go ahead and get started on the work. Hes here for another 2 hours and in-between tells me that he is having trouble getting the motor off of the assembly and that he's going to give it another 30 mins to try and get it out. After 30 minutes he calls it a night, comes to me and says that he cant get the motor out of the assembly and that he needs to cut around the assembly. He says now that the price will go up from the original quote. He said he was going to try and find something similar and couldn't even give me a ballpark answer. He charges me the $100 for a diagnostic and leaves for the night saying the company will be in touch with a new quote.
I dont hear another word ever again. So the following weekend I take a peek for myself. The assembly and motor are actually one unit and not supposed to be separated. I was able to unscrew the assembly from the brackets and unplug the electrical and slide the assembly out. After a quick peek I spot a part number and after 5 mins of googling I found the exact assembly and motor combo I needed. Exact part number and exact system. Im imaging the guy didnt even bother to try looking at any parts numbers.
After finding the exact motor I need and the best part it only costs $475 after taxes. It arrives 3 days later after ordering it and I was able to replace the motor out in less than 15 mins. Flipped the system on and it works like a charm. The part that took the most amount of time was reattaching the drain pipe (the guy cut it at such and awkward angle and left me hardly anything to work with).

So in conclusion, I repaired my own heater after a 2 -1/2 hour diagnostic visit. And being told that I was going to have to pay a mortgage payment to "get things up and running" couldn't even ensure that it would work out fine. I've use J&R in the past and ive had no problems before and loved them. But after seeing such deceptive business practice for literal incompetence and not even a guaranteed estimate, I wont ever use J&R again regardless of the 300 five star reviews. I believe they have done good work and I just got the one bum guy who didnt know what to do.

To this very day, almost 2 weeks after the visit I still have received no word from J&R. So becareful folks, unless you have a brand new AC system, these guys are gonna price gouge the hell out of you and force you towards getting a new system. Don't get taken for your wallets like I almost did.

The two gentlemen that arrived to replace my heating and furnace and AC system, were quick and very efficient in getting the job done. I was impressed with how willing they were in answering all the questions I had and explaining it all to me so that I could understand what was happening each step of the way. Thank you very much for all the work your company has done for me.

Jacobs and Rhodes performed a complete HVAC and furnace replacement for us at a very reasonable price. We could not be happier with the new system, we’ve dropped our heat settings 2 degrees due to the system efficiency, and their service and staff are top notch. We would highly recommend them.

Kevin was extremely helpful and very thorough explaining heat pump options for my family, he readily answered all of our questions and was enjoyable to be around! Earlier, a tech came to our house, Brenda, for repairs who was also extremely helpful and explained everything to us showing the quality and care she puts into her job. I believe she is also a great representative to younger women who might be interested in that career to work hard, and humbly work alongside their male coworkers while still shining in their own way. We have a greater appreciation and want to continue our business with Jacobs and Rhodes because of Kevin and Brenda's outstanding work! I'm also pleasantly surprised how well Jacob and Rhodes treats their employees, thank you because not all businesses do and as a customer we greatly appreciate that!

When Jarod and his assistant arrived to fix my heating problem, I did not hear them knock at the door. They went to their service vehicle and gave me a call.
When they came in, they checked the thermostat, the furnace, and the heat pump. They found that the compressor had gone bad. They told me that they would replace the heat pump. In the meantime, they put the system on emergency heat to keep the house, and me, warm until they could replace the heat pump.
They did their work fast, efficiently and well. I appreciate all that they did for me and for a job well done!

J &R's service technician, Kevin, and his partner were thorough in diagnosing our old condenser (outdoor) unit's multiple problems. They fixed all problems but one, and will give us a quote for the last one. They were kind and friendly with me, and I feel VERY confident recommending them to any friends or family in our same boat.

They worked quickly & efficiently, solving the problem with great solutions. They've worked on my HVAC in the past, but today it was our gas range top and we're very happy with them.

Called Jacobs and Rhodes and a very pleasant gal offered me several scheduling times and I was able to select a time that worked perfectly for me. I received an appointment reminder the day before my scheduled appt, a text when the tech was on his way, and they even text a pic of the technician so we knew exactly who to expect at our door. Carter was very professional. He arrived as scheduled, asked a few questions, and promptly got to work. The fella Carter was training was very pleasant too: great smile and personable. After our service, we received an emailed copy of what was checked, tested, and confirmation that all looked well. We feel a peace of mind that we can go into winter knowing our system looks good. 5 stars.

Jacobs and Rhodes service is responsive and trouble free. The booking schedule and coming for service was very quick and no hassles at all. Brenda and her partner Omar Soto arrived within 10 minutes to figure out the problem where my heating furnace lower surface had a pool of water on the ground. They found the cracked condensation pump and installed a new one. From the start to finish, everything was running smoothly. Before they leave, cleaned the floor nicely. to choose beyond requirement to

Recently, we had to replace our heat pump and air handler, and we hired Jacobs and Rhodes for the job. We first met with Kevin, who thoroughly explained the options they provided and answered all of my questions. Alex and Max did an excellent job removing the old system and installing the new one. The team was professional, efficient, and made the entire process smooth and stress-free. Highly recommend their services!

The HVAC employee, Carter, showed up when he was scheduled to be here and even called about 5 minutes ahead of time to tell me he was coming. He had the correct replacement part and even cleaned up after installing it. He was very polite and professional!
