Don’t use this company. They were scheduled to turn gas water heater back on and couldn’t get access to building and supposedly talked to someone who isn’t me . I am the one that made to the appt and nobody called me. What makes me upset is that they new the water heater wasn’t turned back and they should of at least sent someone out here or tried to call me Bruce’s the lady at the front desk does have my number . Now everyone that works here is sick the whole place smells like gas and it’s very dangerous for an explosion to happen. When I called to tell them she’s like oh yeah we knew it was off. Really so I asked them to send someone
Right over it was obviously an emergency because the whole place reeks of gas and they had no urgency to get some one out here quickly. The front desk lady has no sense of urgency and she’s rude. Wil never use them again

Matthew from Solstice Heating & Air diagnosed a short that occurred from a low voltage wire that touched metal and replaced a fuse. Great service and a very reasonable price on New Year’s Day! I highly recommend them! Thank you!

I had an emergency outage of my heater. Solstice managed to get me in same day. Nick was professional and thorough and got us back up and running. The price I paid included signing up for the annual maintenance plan. The service call alone was reasonable-even with the trip charge since we are rural

This is truly a great local business to deal with. I'm even out of town and had an issue with my heater. I called and set up an appointment. The gentleman Ryan sent Mathew over to inspect and repair my heater. Mathew was on time and went through the system. I wanted to try and resuscitate the thing so Mathew did what he thought might get it running. Well it worked for about an hour. My wife called him back and he was back over within a couple hours. At that point he could see the motor to my furnace wasnt operating properly. He had the parts on hand and got my system back up and running. They are reasonable honest and will do an outstanding job. Thanks Solstice. You guys are good people!!!

I called with no AC at 8:15am. Tech was at my house by 9:00am. Told me the problem and had it fixed and back on by 9:30. I price checked around and Alvarez the most inexpensive place I called. Anybody needing fast and affordable work on AC problems I recommend trying Alvarez first.

My AC stopped cooling yesterday. Called Alvarez and scheduled Saturday repair. Steve arrived right on time, diagnosted problem, cleaned condenser coil, added a few pounds of freon. total cost was hundreds $ under a previous quote from other servicer. Highly recommend Steve at Alvarez Heating and AC. Telling all my friends.

Nothing but good things to say about these guys. I have an off-brand ductless system that none of the other HVAC companies wanted to touch, but mine is fairly new and came with the house (purchased home last year, post renovation).

After an experience with a different servicer who mistakenly diagnosed and improperly charged my system (then waived the fees to wash their hands of me), I was extremely pleased when Victor arrived with some real mini-split experience.

After a phone call with a tech at the manufacturer, I was happy to hear Victor repeat said tech’s diagnosis verbatim without ever having spoken with him. Further, he didn’t waste my time or money, and had me up and running in about :30 minutes.

All of this after agreeing to come out same day — even the companies that agreed to look at my system (and there weren't many) wouldn’t come out for another day or two!

Overall, I appreciate everything they did for me. I understand my system could still require more attention, but Alvarez earned my loyalty today. No doubt my first phone call moving forward — and should be yours too!
