Fast and excellent service. Technic came on time with the new heater and matter of few hours we had hot water again. He was very knowledgeable and suggested what to do in very cold weather. I got bids from four companies to install a Navien tankless combi-boiler (makes hot water for both domestic hot water and hydronic heat), replacing my 15 year old tank. Vortex's bid was the most reasonable. Other places wanted to add things on to the system that I just didn't need. Or they were charging really high rates and parts markup because (I'm guessing) so many of them have now been purchased by private equity companies and have much higher internal costs after the PE firms have saddled the businesses with overwhelming debt.

Vortex folks explained clearly what they were going to do, communicated well during the installation process, persisted through some unexpected problems, and ultimately set me up with a great tankless system that keeps my house warm and provides unlimited almost instant-on hot water for the showers and faucets.

Even their uniforms and truck looked clean and organized. You can tell they run a tight operation.
