Alex was awesome! He explained what was going on with my interlock issue on my breaker panel. Quickly and confidently solved the issue.

Took the further step of checking the outlet connected to the troubled breaker. Noticed that the outlet wasn’t receiving the correct voltage. We didn’t have a replacement so we swapped to an empty breaker!

Greatly appreciate the quick thinking and confidence in solving my electrical issue!

Wednesday morning (2:00am) a tree came down and took out our power line and nearly tore the mast from our roof. Renew Electric rearranged their schedule and had Alex and Alex
at our house shortly after noon and repaired everything and we're done in very timely and kept us informed of everything they were doing.
The inspection was done Thursday and we had power by 10:00am.
Needless to say Renew will be our go to electric company.

Alex was excellent helping to troubleshoot the issues we were having with our floor radiant heating system and the thermostats. Spent extra time and effort to make sure we had all the information we needed to make the next decision and provide several options for moving forward. Would highly recommend Alex and Renew's services.

Renew Electric did an outstanding job on our recent project! They installed two new bathroom fans with timer switches and motion-activated night lights, redid our outdoor plugs, and upgraded our transfer switch along with the entire panel. First off, the lady who answers the phone needs to be given a gold star for some of the nicest service I've ever had when calling. She was super friendly, easy to talk to, and open and honest about options. Secondly, the technician Alex was friendly, professional and open about what he was doing and what he thought the issue might be. It ended up being a very simple fix, which I was happy about. I would definately use Renew Electric again for anything else I need later down the line!

Excellent attention to detail and very quick work for a complicated an extensive replacement of nearly all my electrical work at a very old cabin from the 1960's. Top quality work and I've worked with many contractors over the years. Renew Electric will remain my go to crew for electrical work!

I had a couple of electrical outlets in my 100+ year old house burn up. I called Renew Electric and they had someone at my house (which is in the "sticks") in less than 48 hours. He checked them out and fixed some wiring issues on that circuit. I had them come back to add a hookup for a generator and do a Old Wiring Safety Inspection. They arrived on time with crew of guys and hooked up the generator (including permiting) and inspected every outlet and light switch in the house (by taking off the face plates and visually checking the wiring). They found 3 or 4 more safety (AKA dangerous) issues and fixed them. I should be receiving a report outlining what they found during the inspection. The everyone was friendly, thorough, and professional and the pricing was reasonable (and exactly what what I was told it would be). Highly recommended.

We are amazed by the employees and quality of work. Previous electrical contractors cannot compete with the professionalism shown by Renew Electric. We have shared our experience with 3 friends already. Alex, John and the crew were on time both days. They replaced our electrical wiring and a new meter box onto our new meter pole. Alex and his team did an amazing job rewiring thew whole house. Not only the quality of their work is great but also their kind consideration when arranging their work so that our life would be minimumly impacted during the rewiring. They also kindly follow upo with us after the rewiring, and provide free service when one of the GFCI outlet failed after a year. We are so happy to have them work on our house. A friend of us suggested them to us. We highly recommend them if you are lloking for a team that carries out high quality electrical work.

I asked Alex for a quote on installing the metering hardware for a Craftstrom Solar system and rewiring my panel for a 30amp generator hookup. All was done professionally & in a single day. There was one circuit that didn't turn back on & Renew was back first thing the day after - and it turned out to be a hidden GFI that had tripped. Great customer service!

He backed all that up with confident expertise in troubleshooting and resolving our issue. His process for quoting an ev car charger was also excellent, transparent and clear. I am extremely pleased with the work done by Renew Electric. Had got 2 bids for the work I needed, Alex was more thorough and gave me several options to choose from. We needed our 2 breaker panels replaced and set up for a generator. The electricians that did the work, were on time, clean cut and very articulate and polite. They finished the work on time and took the time to explain how everything was wired and made sure I knew how to connect the generator. I would highly recommend Renew Electric and I appreciated that it's a family run business.

Great company to work with. Alex and the rest of the team were very professional. They did a complete re-wire of an older rental home that I own after identifying many dangerous aspects of the older wiring. I was aware that the old wiring had some problems but not of the extent. I first contacted Renew Electric when an emergency developed when a heater wiring started smoking behind the wall and they was very prompt in coming out to fix this urgent problem. They did such an excellent job with that initial project that when it became apparent that the house needed even more extensive work I did not even bother to get other estimates. Perhaps (or perhaps not) I could have gotten a cheaper price quote but I knew that I would not have had the same degree of confidence in the quality of the work. Thank You Alex and team for providing me with the peace of mind of knowing that my tenants are safe.

We asked Alex from Renew Electric to give us an estimate for adding an outdoor 30 amp plug, wiring and new transfer switch for a portable generator. During his visit he also checked our main panel for any connections that were done poorly or not done to current code. Our main panel has had many alterations over 26 years so we weren't surprised when he found wiring issues that were concerning. He asked thoughtful questions, carefully considering the electrical needs and issues of our property.
We met with him over an impressive and well put together Zoom call where he went over three very thorough estimates from the most comprehensive to the more basic, based on our more immediate needs.
We were impressed by Alex's thoroughness, friendly demeanor and professionalism during the whole process. He's also a super nice guy, someone we would be most happy to work with and would certainly recommend.

I filled out a request for a panel upgrade online to get some quotes. I thought I needed an upgrade because my main breaker kept flipping. John mentioned that didn't sound right and offered to do an inspection instead for $150. Went with that since the cost be rolled into any additional work needed. They ended up finding the main wire was loose and tightened it. I decided to upgrade anyways. Went from 125 amps to 200 and it costed ~$7k. It wasn't the cheapest offer I got but Renew had 3x the 5 star reviews as the lowest bid. They did a great job and new panel looks great! Now I can run the central A/C, dryer, microwave, and anything else no problem. Very happy with the improvement 😁
