I had a very nice experience with Bryce and Gill at a friend's residence. They came to install a heat pump for her. They worked from around 9am until around 630pm. Around 9 hours not counting their breaks and such. They were so polite, well mannered and knowledgeable about everything. Easily answering each question and concern sent their way. It was truly an honor meeting these gentlemen. Thank you both for the relaxed and pleasant experience.

Arrived within specified time, kept great contact with when he would arrive. Was very professional and courteous, even wore booties. Technician was very thorough when inspecting the system and communicated his findings in a way we could understand and was very pleasant. He gave us quotes for several options we could choose from based on our budget parameters for the job we need done. Wonderful job.

Blues Heating and Air is nothing short of great! Their attention to detail during the initial walk through provided us insight previous servicing organizations in the area fell short off. They provided comprehensive explanations for the proposed units our home qualified for. Furthermore, they took care of all the local permits required by Thurston County. The installation did take a full day and was impeccably executed. The entire crew was friendly, respectful, and knew the value behind someone’s hard earned money. They provided small add-ons at competitive pricing. Lastly, their customer service extended past the installation with a surprise letter of appreciation for choosing them to replace our heat pump and furnace. Our home is not only cooler, but quieter and more energy efficient. We could not recommend them enough! Definitely give them a call if you need to upgrade or first time install. Thank you !

He explained everything he was doing & why. He was efficient yet took the time to educate & address all questions. I feel more at ease having a safety drain pan "ceiling saver" installed as our furnace is in the attic. Michael scrubbed our outdoor AC unit & cleaned up any mess made getting up / out of attic. Great service. Attention to detail. Blues found an issue with my system which two other major competitors in the area did not. Other two companies wanted me to completely invest in a whole new cooling system estimating over $25k. Called Blues for a third opinion and they found the issue which saved me an insane amount of money. Blues charged me labor and parts which was under $300. Blues is family owned and trustworthy. They have my business and a signed annual service contract. Thanks!

These guys do very high quality work at a reasonable rate plus they are a local business. We were in a tough spot with the freezing weather and they were able to come out and remove the old system and install a new system in just one day. They were also able to get us scheduled very quickly due to the weather. They back up everything with warranties and the installation is very clean and nice looking. Past inspection without any issue, the inspector even commented that Blues Heating and Air always does a great job. They truly seemed to want what was best for us. There was no hard sell or anything like that. Just honest conversation about our options. We will definitely be using them in the future as we have another building to put a heat pump in. I recommend them wholeheartedly.

If you are looking for a heating and AC company, look no further! We received an ad advertising a furnace check up. Took a chance and scheduled the appointment. Michael, the tech, was on by time, courteous and thorough. Unfortunately for us he discovered a cracked piece which had been “repaired” using duct tape (an obvious no-no). He explained what the part was designed to do and what the danger was in continuing to use it. Considering that our furnace was 28 years old, we opted to replace it. Michael walked me through our options. Never once did I feel like I was being pressured to buy. I got the honest feeling he just wanted us to make an informed decision for what was right for us. Blues was able to get us scheduled for the next week. The installers were on time and very professional. (Sorry, can’t remember their names). A few days after the install, I noticed that our thermostat was not operational and some water on the garage floor by the furnace. Michael came out first thing the next morning. He double checked all of the wiring and the thermostat came back to life. The water drip was and diagnosed as a drip from where the old furnace vent, which led to the roof, had been capped off. He went up on the roof, caulked everything and even hammered down some shingles which had the nails coming up and caulked those. Blues did not cause the drip. It had been there from the old furnace but did not hesitate to correct it for us. A few days later our thermostat quit working again. This time Charles was out, again first thing and realized that there was an issue with the condensation pump and corrected it. I was impressed with the quality of all the people I dealt with at Blues, including the office staff. I highly recommend them.

I just had Michael Ross of Blues Heating and Air come to our home and he did a great inspection and service on our electric furnace to make sure it be in it's best shape before we get into the coldest parts of this winter. He was very thorough and knowledgeable and was able to give me information on the system itself along with showing what recommendations he had. He took the time to let me know all the options and was not upselling so I was very pleased with the personalized service they provide plus at a reasonable cost too so of course I would recommend them to anyone.

We had a heat pump/furnace already in our home installed in 2006 and needed to have it serviced. Blues was offering a great price (as a way to get their name out there as they are a young company) so we scheduled a service call. Upon inspection they saw there were some issues due to the age of our system that could be addressed now at considerable expense or we could consider a replacement that would be considerably more cost effective and efficient. We hope to be able to stay in our home for many more years and it just made sense to update what we were accustomed to--efficient heat in the winter and a cool environment in the summer. Charles (co-owner with brother Tyler) was extremely professional and took the time to explain some possibilities with a more updated system. They were able to replace the entire system in a single day, leaving our property cleaned up. We have a programmable thermostat--which is easily adjusted, if need be, using an app. As summer continues to heat up we are appreciating the heat pump's responsiveness as well as our ability to control it no matter where we are. We're more than happy with cho0sing Blues to take care of us!

The crew of Blues literally saved my family's lives today. Charles came the other day to service our furnace and found some potential problems, so we decided to replace it and add a heat pump today. Last night I noticed a significant gas leak. I was almost completely overcome. I called in (on a Sunday evening) and Courtney talked me through what to do to get through the night. This morning, Aaron & Gilbert arrived to do the work. Shortly before they arrived, I discovered that despite what I had done, the furnace was still leaking. They stepped right in and handled it. Joe came and squared away some electrical issues, too. They stayed until after 7:00pm to make sure we had heat and that everything was safe for us. Had the crew not come together for us last night and today, my family could've died in the night. There are no words to adequately express my gratitude for the entire Blues family. Charles Bodtke arrived on time to do a certified maintenance service of our home HVAC system. He was polite and respectful of our home - he properly introduced himself, wore shoes protection, asked permission to use cleaning product and power for his tools, and provided detailed maintenance task list. He provided a documentation of the company profile and HVAC system operations and maintenance information for us to review and ask questions if needed. We appreciated his work transparency by showing it and provided explanations. He is well represented for his company. We highly recommend this local company Blues Heating & Air.

We replaced our 22 yr old heating system with a new Platinum hybrid furnace and heat pump system from Blues Heating and Air and my wife and I think we are the luckiest people in the world. Love, love the new system and the air conditioning is amazing! Charles and team, from office support to technician, were professional, knowledgeable and helpful as we navigated this big investment and home upgrade. Charles answered all our questions from bid, planning, and permits through the install and he provided a bid that smoked the bigger competitors. I signed the bid on a Tuesday and the new system was installed two days later, in less than 9 hours. The install team was on their game and left no trace when the work was done and the customer support checked in after the install and coordinated the mechanical and electrical inspections. Wonderful. The blower on our 15 year old propane furnace quit working and I contacted Blues based on google reviews. They had a technician on site within a day to assess the problem and recommend a solution. The technician was very thorough and patient, and spent a lot of time answering my questions, weighing options with me, and helping me make a decision. In the end, I decided to use the blower failure as the nudge I needed to purchase a more efficient and climate-friendly electric heat pump.
The setup we chose wasn't cheap, and it's possible I could have found a similar setup for less elsewhere. But I have no regrets. The integrity and customer service offered by Blues has been top shelf. The install was done in one day, the same week I called Blues for help with the dead blower. All staff were thoughtful and conscientious - again, taking the time to patiently answer my many questions. Perhaps most importantly, the new heating system and thermostat have been working perfectly (1.5 months in), and my house is more comfortable than it had ever been previously.
The expense was a hard pill to swallow, but I'm glad we did. For me it was a matter of paying more now, vs. paying a lot over the next decade to keep my aging system going. Based on my experience thus far I'm confident Blues will be quick to respond to my needs moving forward, and I have opted in to their biannual maintenance plan to keep our new investment running in top shape. I strongly recommend Blues Heating and Air.

Pacific installed a new heating and air conditioning system about three years ago. We were pleased with their work and delighted with the result. We have an old, drafty house but the new furnace warms it nicely and the new AC is even more welcome in hot weather. Pacific recently performed maintenance work, including cleaning, changing filters, and some adjustment to the thermostat--important because we have mobility problems and cannot easily do this ourselves. Scheduling the work was easy and the work was done with courtesy and efficiency. Would definitely recommend Pacific.

Great service. This company has delivered services to us in a very professional and prompt manner. They were also very accommodating and informative about the problem and what it would take to repair it. They kept us informed all the way, and were reasonably priced. They really went the extra mile for us. We have already scheduled them to do more work for us. Great company!

Had a furnace issue, Heater kept on going out. They wanted over $200 for a service call and charged me mileage on an 8 mile trip. The office called a few days later and told me it would cost over $400 in parts and labor. I asked them to email me the estimate, they would not. I am a retired engineer so after the technician left I troubleshooted the problem and a $20.00 new thermostat fixed the problem.

This company is dishonest.
