Gary and his team, especially his PM Juan Carlos, made the process of installing Fire sprinkler and dealing with the inspections as painless as possible. We encountered many issues during the building process and they saw the whole thing through for over a year of back and forth with the city. Their rates aren’t the cheapest but the quality of work is very high compared to what we saw from other plumbers who are cheaper.

The biggest plus is that you get a dedicated team of good communicators and a knowledgeable staff to help answer questions. I will recommend them to all my future clients

our ac stopped working during a heat wave! called hugo brothers heating & cooling and they responded right away. their technician, jacob, checked out our system and found it wasn’t very efficient for our home’s size. it was also really old and needed to be replaced. the installers showed up and replaced both the heating and ac unit in just two days. they took care of everything, including all the lines and electrical connections. i’m so glad to have a high-quality and efficient unit now, and it was all set up by real pros. everyone was thoughtful and i felt comfortable the whole time.

The technicians suggest changing the cabinet filter every three months, which seems excessive. When I first got this system, I was informed that the filter should last over a year. It's marketed as a hypoallergenic filtration system, but I still find myself sneezing just as much as I did with the standard filters on my old unit. The costs have become a bit overwhelming, and I'm even thinking about removing the filtration system altogether. Additionally, a capacitor I bought two years ago for surge protection with my generator was replaced this past spring, but I’m unsure if it was the right one for home generator use during outages. I've faced a few challenges with the air conditioning as well. The compressor failed just after the first year, and it cost me $500 in labor to replace it. I also had three fuses burn out within the first five months of using the unit. While the team is friendly and helpful, my experience with the air conditioning unit has had its ups and downs. Overall, I’m hopeful for a better experience moving forward with Hugo Brothers Heating & Cooling.
