Charged me for 3 hrs at $121 and wasn’t with me for that long. Didn’t fix my problem and I had to buy a new water heater. They told me they could replace it for $2,000.00. Definitely not going to use these guys again. $400 was my total bill for maybe 1.5 hrs of work he actually done and that’s being generous.

I love this company and have had outstanding service everytime. Ive had thermal king installed my heat pump and i had nothing but pleasant interactions when I called to schedule an appointment and truly enjoy the technician I had. We had some issues with the heatpumps coil that went out which was under warranty, and the same technician came out to fix it and did an amazing job. Ive had personal interactions with the owner as well and hes very nice. Even with my frustrations i expressed from this issue I was dealing with they still were very helpful and pleasant to me. Thank you for you amazing work.

Came out as scheduled and completed the work as expected. However, the final invoice was approximately double the quoted amount, which was not clearly communicated in advance. That lack of transparency was disappointing and felt unethical. I value straightforward pricing and would have appreciated clearer approval before additional charges were added.

Never really actually been here just through the parking lot to turn around

Time is money for these techs and I get that, but when a little girl is hit in a school zone and it’s all over the news about obeying school zone lights and crossing lights and your drivers speed through the school zones with all the light blinking cutting people off, they should be extremely ashamed of themselves. This happened at 3:35pm going northbound on Spokane ST in Post Falls Idaho. The call center was no help since I didn’t record the trucks number since I was driving in a school zone obeying laws. I use the same gps system you have in your trucks for my techs and it’s very simple to track your techs and zero reason why you can not look up this driver and remind them to not speed through school zones or cut people off. There is no HVAC emergency that urgent period.

I'm hoping this driver had a personal emergency. I caught sight of him in my rearview mirror outside of Colfax on our way to Spokane, US 195 N. He was tailgating every vehicle he caught up to, obviously traveling (or trying to) 10+ miles over the speed limit. Once he caught up to us, we were behind vehicles going the speed limit and as it was one lane, we couldn't get out of his way. He proceeded to tail gate and then fall back and then tail gate and then fall back, etc.. He passed us and we watched him do the same pattern to every vehicle he caught up to. Not the safest driving and certainly foolish to do in a company vehicle. Once we hit two lanes outside of Spokane, he very quickly disappeared from sight (and I was going about 65mph myself, trying to keep an eye on him). As we were heading into Spokane, I'm guessing he might be based out of the Spokane office. Photo taken by my passenger, giving a star because I can't post without doing so.

Brian and Andrew added central air conditioning to our residence a few years ago (best decision ever!), at which time Brian recommended we replace the existing aging furnace as well. Installed in the 80's, I agreed that the furnace was on its way out, but Brian understood when I opted to leave it in place and try to nurse another year or two out of it. Well, this year, Brian's prophecy was realized, and the old furnace finally bit the dust. Brian and Andrew were very responsive to our cry for help for heat. Brian arrived early the next day to inspect and provide a quote, and the Halo crew had a new furnace installed the following day in under 2 hours! Their professionalism, timeliness, and respect for our home-office situation were very appreciated (zero disruption - our dog even slept through the entire installation!). Our new furnace is quiet, reliable, efficient, and moves noticeably more air than the old one. I highly recommend the crew at Halo for any residential heating or AC needs. These folks know their stuff and do not waste time getting the job done!

By far best experience I’ve had with an HVAC company, Brian and Andrew were very responsive when our furnace went down last week and got the job done the next day. They even came back that night to leave us temporary heaters. Left our house cleaner then when they arrived and are an awesome father son team

Furnace and heat pump service. Great to work with.

Be careful here - they came and "inspected" my furnace system and recorded CO levels around 300ppm-400ppm that would be deadly to humans (even though we had been in the house remodeling it for months), and then quoted us an above average price for replacement. We tested it ourselves and could only find readings of 0ppm-2ppm, we then brought in another HVAC company who also recorded CO readings of 2ppm.

Halo also said that they could tell the furnace needed replacement because they could see "flames were jumping around in the burner compartment", however the type of furnace we have doesn't have visible flames without taking it apart, it is surrounded in a cast iron case.

Honest mistake? Lack of professionalism? Potential fraudulent behavior? Hard to say, but I wouldn't use them again.

Andrew was extremely responsive and helpful with setting up both a visit to determine the issue we were having with our furnace and AC unit and with getting the units replaced and installed. He and Brian were wonderfully professional and got our job in quickly (so helpful in 95º July heat). We're so thankful! 10/10 would recommend.
