Southern Boyz replumbed my old 1930 house. They showed up promptly, worked NONSTOP all day and finished the job in one day. Courteous, professional and cheerful. Their teamwork was impressive and their price was exceptionally good. Deric was very knowledgeable and provided excellent advice about my hot water heater.

Showed up right away and was very professional. He fully explained what was wrong and what my short and long term options were with the pros and cons of each. Pricing was definitely fair especially for an emergency. Definitely recommend and will call again if I need a plumber again.

I bought my mother a new showerhead that she wanted for Christmas a year and a half ago and it was never installed! I live out of state and cannot do it myself so I turned to Yelp and looked for plumbers in the Seattle area. Kerry was one of the first to reach out and I was able to coordinate a day and time for him to head to my parents house in Seattle. He removed their old shower head and did some additional work that needed to be done (the pipe connected to the old showerhead was attached to drywall and not a stud!). He added some support to the studs, affixed the water pipe to them and then attached the new shower head. A new shower head installed as an early Mother's Day gift! Thank you Kerry for helping me out even though I'm out of state!

Wow! With the super cold winter we had, our outdoor dog wash station froze. I’m not willing to wrestle my Danes into a tub, so it had to be fixed. After a disheartening quote, I called Kerry. He quoted less than 1/3 of the other quote, got the part, called back to discuss the pricing of the part (it is not a cheap part) and STILL came in at 1/3 the original quote. He was out at our house within 24 hours and had the work done in less than a hour.

Plus, he is a dog person and was sweet and kind! We plan on having him come out to redo the kitchen next!

Our experience with Kerry of Southern Boyz has been the best we’ve ever had dealing with a contractor. He got back to me incredibly quick, worked time between his other clients to come give an awesome cost effective quote, and came back later in the day to finish the work in 35 minutes. He shared what he was doing as he did the work to educate us on the plumbing. We’ve never felt so taken care of. I shared a review on Yelp as that’s where I found his business, but I wanted to share here too so folks using google/google maps could see too. Folks don’t always get enough praise for doing an excellent job.

very fairly priced, prompt communication, and quality service. kerry worked quickly and efficiently to find the source of a mysterious leak in my finished basement. he resolved it in a couple hours, including a run to the store for the right part. after being screwed over by the bigger plumbing companies, i am relieved to find a small business that is honest and pleasant to work with. highly recommend.

Kerry responded quickly and came same day to address the garbage disposal I broke. Went above and beyond to get the equipment for a much more complex repair than I had described (I didnt know!) and even found an additional clog 30 ft down the line (that I had, uh, made worse with my regrettable garbage disposal skills). Fair price, thorough job, quick, helpful, all around solid work. Highly recommend; Kerry was fantastic!

Edited a year later: Called again recently for 3 different issues. They were solved efficiently, at totally fair cost, and the guy was great with my fascinated toddler. Couldn't ask for more than that.

Excellent business to deal with. Kerry came out to my house to replace a outdoor faucet that was leaking, and a 37-year-old water shut off valve in my house. We also had him clean out the drains in 2 of our bathrooms. Kerry was right on time for the appointment and got right to work. He was very courteous and professional and had the faucet and a shut off valve replaced in about 2 hours. He went upstairs and cleaned out 3 drains that have never been professionally cleared in the 27 years that i have owned the house. He cleaned up the areas he was working on and thanked me for the business. It was a very nice experience to see a hard-working small business owner who takes pride in his work, do such a great job. His bid came in at 60% less than the bid of a large locally advertised company. I would not hesitate to hire him again for any plumbing job I have, or to refer him to any of my friends and neighbors.

This appeared to be a simple job and turned out to be very difficult. The effort of framing the door was faced with heat above and to the side.
Southern Boyz General Construction worked diligently to avoid damaging the surrounding house-works.
Kerry is honest, hard-working and straight forward. His associate contractors reflect his values.

Without a doubt, Southern Boyz General Contracting will be the only business I call in the future.

I use this company ALOT for business and recently they replaced a water heater in my home. They are always timely, professional and the work is done to a standard of excellence. Would recommend them to anyone! Thank You to the team at CJ’s for coming through yet again!

I have used Chuck (CJ's Plumbing) a handful of times. At this point, however, I could no longer recommend CJ's Plumbing. While they might be competent plumbers, their follow-up and ability to finish a job is lacking. I hired CJ's Plumbing and they left me hanging in the middle of a job. I called, texted, and emailed multiple times with no acknowledgement. I hired him for an emergency job and he never showed. When he wanted to get paid, however, he had no issues with returning calls. Subsequently, I had to hire another plumber to finish what CJ's started. Unbelievably frustrating.

Horrible service. Paid $2k up front to have water heater installed that is still sitting in middle of my garage 2 years later. No straps, no earthquake codes, nothing. After pulling out old water heater and hooking up new one, they stated they would no re-install without a $2400 mold removal contractor coming in to remove some mold and mildew behind old unit. Only good news from this job is, when the big one hits and water heater burns house down, guess who is liable? 'Ol CJ is. Avoid this place. Apprentice workers at ridiculous prices.

Only 2 stars because they did fix their mistake 3 months after they were shown they installed 2 sanitary y's backwards. Now the water heater they installed 18 months ago leaked all over the garage. Was leaking where the corrugated metal pipe connects to the water heater. After draining and getting help, found there was NO rubber washer on connection!!! Metal to metal! Installed washer...fixed. wondering what's next?? Master toilet sucks down when tub is drained. Plumber, not them, found the toilet vent is downstream on the main line 14 feet from toilet! Not code, but who cares? Can't afford to fix now. 35K install....joke! I could go on with more issues but I have wasted enough time on them.
