We called Gillette regarding a plumbing issue after we had heard multiple positive reviews from friends and co-workers. Jason came out after hours and scoped our line for free after we were told by another plumbing company that we had an emergency and would need to replace all of our sewer lines at a cost of tens of thousands of dollars. Jason stayed for over an hour, without charging us, to confirm that the situation wasn't as dire as we were led to believe, as well as inspecting the work that had already been done and offering critiques; all while remaining completely professional and trustworthy. When we do have to get the work completed it will absolutely be through Gillette and I will be able to rest easy knowing we have such a competent and honest team working on our home. I cannot say enough nice things here, but if you're looking for a trustworthy home repair you should absolutely choose Jason with Gillette. This is the best decision you could possibly make. Gillette did a great job dealing with a major sewer repair. My one regret is I did not call them first. Once I did they were prompt, informative and professional. The foreman Bryan kept me apprised, got me back in service quickly. Jerrod and Jason were honest and trustworthy and went the extra mile to the point that Jerrod responded on a Friday evening to assist me. The whole crew was pleasant and great to work with. This positive review is long overdue. Jason was informative, patient, and honest. When we bought our house two years ago, the initial sewer inspection video displayed a crack in our pipe. I sent the video to multiple companies to get an estimate on what it would cost to A) replace the entire sewer line from the house to the main in the street or B) shoot a line down the pipe, and Jason with Gillette was the only person to notice the real problem instead of blindly quoting me. Jason noticed Puget Sound Energy had cross-bored their gas line through our sewer line. Jason informed me Puget Sound Energy would repair the section of our sewer line they broke for free. Also, Jason made it apparent that the main sewer line where our side sewer met it had a potential break in it, based on our original video. Depending on your municipality, what you own and what they own is important. In Fircrest, the municipality owns the main, and the homeowner owns from the house to the main. A week later, our municipality viewed the footage and repaired the break at the main for free too. This is a specific site-related issue, and not everything is free, but we aren't backing up in the house because Jason was a stand-up guy. May all the good karma go his way!
