Bella came out to change a water heater. Technician showed me it was just the pilot light. I saved the cost of a new tank today, but will definitely call Benla when it really is time for a replacement. Nice to deal with an honest company.

This is a trustworthy company, that goes above and beyond! We had a hybrid installed in our place, and they did an incredible job! We had a leak, and it was a very old water heater that needed to be replaced, and they made sure to check for mold and any other damage caused by the slow leak. Out of the three quotes we got, this was the most affordable, we also got a $500 rebate taken off our total amount. They recommended we get a louvre door, which made more sense than the other two quotes we got that advised us to cut into the door and create a vent. My uncles suggested this company and I’m so happy they did!

From start to finish doing business with Benla was easy!!! The technician Antonio Curdi arrived on time. During removal and replacement process he was very informative about what he was doing. He went over how to extend the life of my new water heater and the new features of the one he installed. Antonio did a excellent job and he didn't leave a mess! My condo association requires that we replace the water heater after 10 years. The previous homeowner used Benla and now I know why they used them!

Benla refuses to give me a replacement part for a Bradford White water heater I purchased from them in 2023. The temperature control knob had broke off and they are refusing to warranty the part without a $250 service charge. According to a service manager (Rob?), they don’t think the part could have broken off by normal use.

Apparently a lack of imagination on their end is cause for them to not honour the warranty. I’ve had to hire another plumber to order the replacement part from BW.

Benla has earned its reputation for excellent service. I spoke with Jamal, who was professional, friendly and knowledgeable. After assessing the scope of work, he provided a quote. Kept in touch by text. When I called Jamal a few days later to schedule, I received a same-day appointment. Technician Antoinio met the challenge of finding a place to park in my dense, urban neighborhood, and working in my apartment's tight quarters. He was professional, courteous and conscientious with every detail, making sure I was satisfied upon completion of the job. Well done, Jamal and Antonio! :o)

Mark and Tony left my apartment in a bafflingly unfortunate state after servicing my heater today: all lights inside the unit were left on, objects were moved without being replaced, and the front door was left wide open for hours (as far as I know, only insects got inside). Maybe don't use these guys under any circumstances if you value your security.

I live in a condo building and had a hybrid heat pump water heater (HPWH) installed by Benla. After contacting multiple water heater installers in the Seattle area, Benla was the only company to send a representative to my unit to see if a HPWH installation would be possible. Other companies simply told me no or provided me with an estimate 20% higher. A HPWH uses about 1/4th the electricity of a conventional water heater. It qualifies for a Seattle City Light rebate and federal tax credit that covers 30% of the installation cost if installed before the end of the year. Marques installed the HPWH. He was punctual, professional, and spent time to review the different operating modes of the unit. I would highly recommend Benla to anyone in need of a new water heater.

I phoned, received a very reasonable quote, had some questions (which were answered immediately via both email and via text interface) -- and was able to approve the service quote within minutes. Equally impressive is that the water heater replacement was completed within 24 business hours of my first contacting Benla. Their team is top notch for clear communication and responsiveness PLUS the technicians that performed the work on site - Tyler and Ivan - showcased constructive problem-solving acumen, communicated their knowledge and professional insights in a way that was easy to understand, and were extremely service-oriented and respectful. We live in a very space-efficient condo and the water heater closet is a tight space - they made short work of a somewhat complicated install. Not only that, they ensured that everything throughout the system was working properly before they left.
