Appliance Repair reviews in Vancouver, Washington

Very pleased with my appliance service. Serg did the Initial service call and diagnosed the problem right away. He checked several other things to make sure there was nothing else wrong. He ordered the needed part which came much quicker than expected. Paul came to do the repair and install the part, thoroughly tested the system and explained everything he had done. Good efficient service, friendly tech's, was a good experience.

So far so good. Tech was friendly and efficient. This was a follow-up appointment. Did some additional work and said to try to see if this results in clean dishes, if not make another appointment.

When my microwave started sparking, this was the first company to get back to me. Service was prompt and the technician (Serg) was efficient, competent and very nice. I might have been able to have the work done for less but I appreciate how quickly he solved the problem. Would use them again.

Again, Norman was very professional & through. He also showed me how to clean my dishwasher filter too! I didn’t know it should’ve been cleaned! I have been recommending AMS to all my neighbors! Thank you all for the amazing service.

Zero stars if I could. Called them for an air dryer repair on our compressor for low temp meaning it needed to be checked for a leak and dye tested with a set of gauges put on it to check refrigerant level. Was told a time frame 8-11 he showed up at 3 one hour before our buisness was to close. I knew he couldn’t preform the service of checking refrigerant levels within the time he had left but instead he watched numerous videos on how to reset the computer board so he could show one of my employees it was working when. He wrote down a long list of things he did which he did not do as he’s sitting down on his phone in all our surveillance camera footage and never removed a part from the air dryer but told my guy he replaced to parts. When asked to show the broken parts he showed him parts from some other appliance none that matched the simple internals of our machine. Not sure what this company really does but it’s not repairing anything. $475 wasted and both people on the phone and in person barely spoke English so trying to explain anything was at a loss don’t waste your money.

The service person was very polite but did not solve the issue of my washer smelling of smoke. He replaced the door gasket and cleaned filter - neither of which fixed the smell. Paying over $500 and now having to pay $$$ as it’s likely a failing drive belt, motor, capacitor, or control board. Very frustrated!

Really nice technician was able to determine that we have a problem with our electrical outlet. Fast and efficient service and was able to come same day! How often does that happen? 5 stars!

Paid AMS services $800 to fix our fryers in advance and they don’t work. I have no way of getting a hold of the guy. Extremely unhappy and frustrated that I have one fryer on Valentine’s Day…☹️

He did not know what he was doing. He answered about 15 phone calls while here! Said he was going to charge me 800.00!!! He said a part was missing, I ask where would it be if missing. Didn’t know! All that was wrong was the agitator disconnected. I told him to leave, paid him $120.00 cash. He left the machine in pieces.
I hired another man to fix it. He said no missing parts, had it fixed in short order and charged me $115.00! Not 800 dollars
Never again would I hire your person to even clean my cat litter box!!!!! -
My dishwasher was leaking and my ice maker in my fridge is shot. The tech came out the first time to diagnose the issues. He was very friendly and figured out what the issue was. He came back several days later after the parts arrived. My card was charged around $700. Both appliances are still having issues. The planel under the dishwasher is making contact with the door when you open or close it and my ice maker still doesn't work. Trying to get them to come back to fix this has been challenging. They dont always pick up the phone and when they're scheduled to come back out, like they were yesterday, they no-showed and never contacted me. This is getting pretty frustrating.
UPDATE: The tech came back out and fixed the issues. Changing review from 1 star to 3. -
WE had this company repair our ice maker by replacing with a new one. It was fast and worked for about 5 weeks. I called to have them check it and had to leave a voice message. They called back but I wasn't here. So I tried again and then got no return call back. After no communications and the fact that the repairman didn't speak English, I went to another company. Am disappointed that I spent over $500 for nothing.

All about Mike the repairman from Gold Tech.
Outstanding repairman!! He really knew what he was doing with our Maytag dryer!! Job well done. The dryer is working great now…
Thank you… Mark Demos in Coburg, OR. -
Serg was a nimble navigator in the kitchen. He saved countless time by being so agile. The space was tight, and a lessor tech may have needed to disconnect the gas line to get the oven into a more open work space, but not Serg. He did great! In and out in record time. He showed up when he said he would, and finished before he said he would.
Additionally, he set an amazing expectation at the onset of our transaction and still beat it by several days. World class service in my opinion.
Would strongly recommend AMS Service for in-home appliance repair. -
I've had TNR Appliance to our home 2 times in the past 5 years and they were on time, professional, courteous, helpful, and a pleasure to work with. They were easy to schedule and responsive. I would highly recommend Dustin and Tim when your appliances need any sort of work.

This company were unlike, far above any business my husband and I have ever received service from before, we both agreed. They were so professional, and forthcoming in every way. They helped us gather needed records that we didn’t have - never heard of such a thing. Lol. And our serviceman, Jeremy was so conscientious, knowledgeable and professional that we were very comforted in knowing he would be the one returning to install the part in our appliance that needed replacing. This company deserves above a 5 star rating in the world these days. We are very grateful and thankful.

What Kevin Jannsen wrote about TNR Appliance is absolutely correct. As he said: “If you are assigned TNR Appliance, decline and ask for another provider.”
My microwave and stove stopped working, and TNR Appliance came to my home for repairs. After collecting a $150 service fee, they disappeared. No repairs were completed.
Both my warranty company and I repeatedly tried to contact TNR, but they never answered their phone. TNR claimed they would place a replacement order for the damaged appliances, yet months passed with no updates and no follow-up.
Based on their actions, it appears they took the service fee without any intention of completing the job. Additionally, the technician they sent was extremely unprofessional and unpleasant.
@TNR Appliance LLC — sorry for any typos; autocorrect altered your company name. And to be clear, I am located in North America, not overseas. -
TNR Appliance provides thorough and honest appliance repair work, and I highly recommend them. They were the contractor assigned by my home warranty, which I have learned that warranty contractors can really be a hit or miss. Austin came out and performed multiple checks on my fridge and determined that it was just a loose connection keeping it from defrosting properly and was able to fix it right then and there. He even went above and beyond and cleaned the coils that could potentially cause a future issue, changed a setting so that it ran more efficiently and gave several helpful tips on maintenance. I'm going to request TNR on all my future appliance warranty jobs!

Our new fridge wasn't working. My husband called in the warranty and they setup with TNR appliance. The guy Anthony that came over to fix our fridge was friendly and very polite. He was informative and fixed the problem. Nothing weird and fishy with this company as you need to be careful when some companies try to double bill you which is not part of the warranty so be careful if any other appliance company try to charge you when you shouldn't. I trust this company and would go through them again. Thank you Anthony for your help and service!

We were assigned TNR appliance to repair our dishwasher and vent hood through fidelity home warranty. If you are assigned TNR appliance, please politely decline and ask another provider to be assigned. Because if you use TNR Appliance, you will wait months before they can schedule you. We had to wait one month for a diagnosis visit. Then we waited another month for the repair visit. But the technician didn’t even order enough parts to repair our dishwasher, so now we are looking at another one month wait. From what I heard from the technician, it is a easy fix that will only take him 15mins. But here we are, no dishwasher after two months, and another month to wait before we can get another appointment. From what I heard from fidelity, they are charging $800+ for the repair, you can buy a new dishwasher with that price. If you want to use your appliance, find someone else!
In response to the comment from the owner, no the delay is not all because of the fidelity, when I am trying to schedule technician, every time, I was told it is at least a month out. With the part in house, we waited for more than a month for the second visit. What is most frustrated to me is that they didn’t identify Al the parts that need to be ordered during the initial visit, which caused another 1-2 months delay due to addition approval in cost and scheduling. And when I bring it up, they are not sympathetic of the situation. -
Jeremy serviced my Electrolux clothes washer. He was great, thorough, and knowledgeable. TNR let me know a time window for service and kept me up to date on arrival time. Excellent service.

Sometime in early May 2023, our Miele dryer went on the fritz. It was displaying an error code I hadn't seen before, one that I couldn't find much information for online. After going to the seller for repair/technician recommendations, they forwarded me the information for TNR, one of two vendors that specifically worked on Miele appliances. After the initial confusion of trying to solidify a consultation/visit (a bit of human error on my end) Andrew from TNR popped by to gauge the problem. We also required an extra technician due to the specific dimensions this dryer was fitted in (stackable, in a narrow space in a condo), so Dorian was there for the second visit.
After popping open the dryer, it was confirmed that an electric component in the machine had gone on the fritz (so the machine couldn't even communicate between the control board!), so they proceeded to get the part ordered. They just installed the new part today, and my Dryer is working good as new! I'm running a cycle right now and it's a beautiful thing, knowing that everything is spic and span.
Andrew and Dorian were very informative, and helpful in every step of the process, and I am grateful for all the advice given during all this. They made every really easy, and super convenient! And they made sure I knew that the problem itself was outside of my control, which was my biggest worry.
TNR's customer service, especially when arranging appointments, is on top of it. All in all, if another of my Miele appliances break down, I'm calling TNR, hands down.
Thank you so much TNR! For the quick, easy, and quality service you provide.
