Appliance Repair reviews in Vancouver, Washington

They were dispatched to my home by 2-10 Warranty after my washer stopped working. The 1st time the tech came out he said the washer needed some parts and he had to order them. When he came back the 2nd time he realized the drum was frozen then asked my husband if we tried to run it. (Which we did not) He then said the drum was frozen and he had to order another part. Then a different tech came out with all the parts and said this is a 2 man job. Finally two of them came back a week later and got it fixed. It took 7 weeks for them to get it right. Sheer incompetence. If the 1st tech was incompetent. If I have another appliance that needs repair I will not allow them to touch any of my appliances. It's was a "THREE STOOGES MARATHON" for 7 weeks.

We had an outstanding experience with service technician Jason! He dove in deep to diagnose and fix the issue with our Fulgor double oven. His expertise was truly remarkable, and he handled the situation with utmost professionalism and a friendly demeanor. Jason's dedication to his work was evident, and he went above and beyond to ensure our oven was working perfectly. We appreciate his exceptional service and expertise. Jason not only fixed our appliance but also left us with a smile on our faces. We highly recommend him and would give him five stars without hesitation! Thank you, Jason!

Scheduled appointment on 02.13.25 for 02.24.25 was informed by Aubrey that we would receive a confirmation on the day before the appointment 02.21.25. NEVER received any confirmation. Called back on 02.24.25 @ 08:30 was told by Morgan appointment window was 09:00 - 12:00. No open EVER showed up or called. Called back at 02.24.25 @ 13:34 was informed by Morgan that they showed up but had no unit number so they would have to reschedule. Now we wait & see if we get our money back. -
Top-notch! TNR has an excellent office/appointment team and knowledgeable and polite service team. I am 100% happy with the entire process around having my dryer repaired and I will call TNR again should any other appliances need rescuing.

The technician came to our house over a year ago to fix the ice machine while under warranty. Initially diagnosed the problem as a faulty ice machine and replaced it. After that didn't solve the problem, it was determined that the issue was a wire that had been severed running from the main refrigerator box to the door of the freezer. The technician spliced this wire back together as a repair. Fast forward a year later (and now the refrigerator is out of warranty) the ice machine isn't working again. We called a different appliance repair company to come and diagnosis the issue. They were able to quickly determine that the issue was the wire that had been spliced previously had become detached again. They also said that this is a common problem with this brand and the appropriate repair is replacement of the freezer door. They further offered that the repair completed by TNR was not within standards. Upon inspection, it was noted that the TNR technician had cut the plastic sheath that protects the electrical wires to access the severed wire and left these wires exposed after the splice was completed. I contacted TNR to discuss the matter and spoke to Rory. My request was they repair the issue to the standard recommendations since it was not repaired properly while still under warranty. Rory declined stating that the repair performed by TNR was within standards according to their manuals and "worked" for a year. He also suggested I contact the manufacturer to request a concession. The concession request to the manufacturer was denied, as the manufacturer stated it was the repair shops accountability to address the repair issue. I have requested documentation from TNR that the repair was done within standards and I have not received requested documentation. When an appliance repair is completed, I believe it is a reasonable expectation that the repair is completed within industry standards and that consumers should expect repairs to last more than a single year. Based on TNR responses to previous consumer feedback, I anticipate this review will met with a lack of accountability for their service and the quality of their work. I continue to welcome requested documentation of the industry standards on the repair completed.
Update 4.23.24
Tim...Thank you for your reply. I have contacted the third party and they do not agree with your assertion. Can you provide me documentation that they denied the requested service that would help resolve this issue? In addition, I did contact you business in late March. Rory returned my call and, as I mentioned in my original review, was the one who told me that the repair was perforrmed per the manual and done within industry standards. He also suggested I contact the manufacturer and request a concession. So it is not accurate that this review is the first you had heard from us since the repair. I welcome the documentation of the industry standards and/or the documentation that the third party denied your request to repair the refrigerator correctly. -
We have had good luck with them in previous appliance repairs, but have been without our refrigerator for over a month and a half. Originally called in with the code that the the screen was showing which indicated that the fan was bad. Technician came out two weeks later and told us the fan was out and that he didn't have the part. He also told us that a cover that wasn't a necessity was broken and we ordered it as well. Since then I have called a half dozen times and been told that the fan is there and the other part was on the way. Last week I called on Thursday and was told that tracking showed the part would be there that day or on Friday morning. I called today and service said the cover was still not in and transferred me to the parts department to get an update on where it was. The phone rang 10 to 15 times and no one answered. Not sure what is going on, but this experience this time around has been very poor. All I want is my refrigerator fixed, which by the way is only 6 years old.
They found the part from another distributor and will be here on Monday to complete the work. Thanks for the prompt response! -
The scheduling staff at TNR Appliance are on point and communicative. Jason was able to quickly diagnose the issue and order the parts. The parts arrived faster than expected and we were able to schedule an appointment soon thereafter. Jason did an excellent job and was able to come early. TNR Appliance is a good choice for getting warranty work done on a Speed Queen dryer.

Pretty darn expensive and they have yet to fix the problem. Wish we had gone with someone else. Scheduling is a bit of a nightmare (been waiting weeks on the same issue), with wide windows of when they might come during the day.

I absolutely recommend this company! I had problems with my KitchenAid dishwasher for a long while. I had other repairmen come and tell me it was this problem or that problem. After many months my KitchenAid dishwasher is finally fixed ! Kyle found the problem and fixed my dishwasher. His knowledge and experience is worth calling this company. Everyone who I spoke with was more than Pleasant and went out of their way to make sure I was taken care of.

We had Jason come out and service our "haunted" dishwasher that two other techs couldn't figure out. In 5 minutes he had it diagnosed and fixed it within the hour! He was professional, knowledgeable, and well prepared. A breath of fresh air compared to the 6 other visits we had from the other company!

Jason and Kahlin came to fix my troublesome refrigerator. On time and professional as promised. They were so experienced and knowledgeable and it shows. That fridge was so stuck in the wall and hard to diagnose the problem but they were able to do what 4+ other appliance companies (I lost count) were not able to do. They even found a fan that was making noise and took them 5 seconds to fix that buzzing fan out that was out of position. Thanks so much! Great job and well done! Give them a raise and a bonus!
Also I think these guys have also repaired my washer and dryer in the past and were awesome. I swear this company are the only guys that know how to fix anything in the Portland met area. They are usually the guys that come after a bunch of other companies have tried and failed. (Warranty) -
Contracted for a warranty repair for a kitchenaid fridge. Tech (Kyle) called for a 20 minute warning, then never showed.
Called the office and spoke to Morgan an hour and a half later, who said that the tech knocked... Except neither my dog or I heard said knock. Office says tech waited 10 minutes, but didn't bother to call when we didn't hear his limp wristed knock. When I questioned this, Morgan became upset and combative about using common sense. I requested to reschedule, and was advised to find someone else, so here I am advising you, reader, to find someone else as well -
We had installed all the high end appliances into our new home ourselves but had not yet tested them all out yet. When we tried to use the dishwasher we noticed that it wasn't working properly and an error message was showing on the new Bosch dishwasher. Unfortunately, since we had not yet moved in as soon as we got the appliances we sat on the appliances for a while and the warranty had expired. Rory, the service tech, came out and went above and beyond expectations. After diagnosing the issue with the dishwasher he said he would get us a quote on the new part and labor needed to fix the problem. He then offered to check out all of the other appliances to see if there are any issues with those. He adjusted the simmer functions and air/gas flow on all of the burners of the new stove, as needed as well as went through the setup on the microwave and wall oven. He also went through all of the other appliances and walked me through the maintenance for all of the appliances to keep them running properly. Very thankful to have Rory come out.

I recently purchased a home that was serviced by this company. Part of our closing agreement was to fix a leaking dishwasher, which the seller scheduled and had a repair person out. They noted it was a leaking door seal.
We move in and try to run our first load of dishes... And within five minutes there was a leak.
I messaged this company and explained the situation. The customer service representative said they would need a one time authorization code from the sellers home warranty to come back out. We ask the seller and the home warranty is no longer active and they will not provide any codes.
TNR believes that offering a 50 off coupon for us to pay for a repair they should have done to begin with is an appropriate course of action. I have confirmed the leak is still in fact coming from the door seal. Regardless of how you want to bill it, does this company not warranty their own work within a certain time window?
Did the repair tech simply turn the dishwasher on for a minute, see no water and call it a day?
Do I seriously need to waste my time going to small claims court when I should be enjoying my house as a first time buyer?
It goes without saying I have zero intention of using this company whatsoever, and I hope whoever reads this does the same.
Edit: The owner's reading comprehension doesn't seem fantastic so I'm editing this to add some clarity:
- The warranty company refuses to provide any kind of code because the warranty is no longer current. It ended when the house was sold, apparently.
This is NOT an offered "solution".
- Paying for another visit for an issue that should have been fixed by the technician is NOT a solution. They noted they replaced the door seal and the door seal is still leaking... How is that fixed?
-Yes, it has been a month since the first visit. Do you want to know why? Because the house was sold and people need time to move. We are now stuck without a functioning appliance and zero help from the company or the seller... Why would I want to continue to use a company that can't make good on their work?
- the owner also offered to contact him directly with any additional complaints, and his direct contact information is no where to be found at all. So, thanks for that? -
After being scammed by another appliance repair service pretending to be sent by Miele, we were finally able to get our washing machine fixed by a legit repairman. Tim and company were great! They came earlier than scheduled, it took them less than 90 minutes to diagnose and repair the problem. They made sure the machine was working properly before they left. They also gave us maintenance tips for our machine. Couldn’t have asked for better service! Highly recommend.

Super fast and professional. Love these folks. Jeremy, the technician was fantastic.
Very knowledgable and fixed my oven issue perfectly.
Thank you TNR and thank you Jeremy!

Rory and Mark were instrumental in pinpointing what was broken with my under-counter True Refrigerator. They also took the extra measure to protect all finishes within the house. Excellent work. I would highly recommend TNR.

If you call them, you won't have a fix for at least a month. If they order you a part, it'll take 2+ weeks to arrive. They refuse to schedule before they have the part, and they schedule at least 2-3 weeks out. If you have the option to go with a different company, do it. The repair person doesn't even know what is needed so they are just buying parts and racking up a bill while they guess what is needed to fix it. The guy came the first time more than a month after I called them, his first idea of what it was was wrong. Now they need another part and are looking at another month to get and install (try) the other part. It'll be 2.5 months at the soonest for this 5 year old stove to get fixed. What a disaster.

I had a great experience with TNR and their service technician, Mark. The company is excellent at communicating who is coming and when. Mark was very kind and helpful! He was able to fix my stove in no time! Highly recommend TNR and especially Mark!

We were so pleased with TNR Appliance! The customer service was great and we really appreciated how nice everyone was. Aubrey was amazing, she kept me in the loop with what was going on while waiting for the part. As soon as they received the part, kyle came out fast and got it fixed! Thank you guys!

Had an issue with a Maytag dryer through Home Depot but the warranty was through a 3rd party.. TnR Appliance. Had a hiccup with the initial service but TnR wes very accommodating and corrected the issue in a very timely manner even though they were booked for appointments. TnR and the technician Kahlin made sure the issue was resolved in a respectable timeframe. I am thankful they did what they needed to do and we’re up and runnning. Great communication and resolution in a timely manner.
