We needed a new AC because our twenty-years-old unit broke down. I received a few quotes but Area Heating & Cooling Inc had the best combination of price and experience. They had also replaced our furnace in 2009 so we'd worked with them before. In both cases the price quoted was accurate, the work was scheduled properly and done on time, and the clean-up afterwards was excellent. The technicians were respectful and hard-working. I really appreciate a contractor who delivers what they promise on time and budget so thank you to Area Heating & Cooling! -- Jason

Great system maintenance service call. Easy to schedule, technician was terrific. Called before appointment with an arrival ETA. Was on time, identified himself, described the service he was there to do, worked quickly and efficiently and left a clean work site. Exceptional

Chris was great. Initially I just had him out to give me a second quote for an expensive repair i was told i needed. Chris was very knowledgeable and found the elusive leak that 2 previous companies didn't find. In an hour, the leak was fixed, system recharged. All for a couple hundred dollars vs the 10-12k in repairs i was previously quoted. Im not one for leaving reviews, in this case, I highly recommend using these guys. Thank you Chris!

Our technician from Area H&C was Nathan Bonk. We really liked Nathan. He was polite and patient, explained everything well and really knew what he was doing. He was careful with everything around our house, professional and competent, thorough in his work and cleaned up completely when he was done.
Actually, all the folks at Area H&C were great. Very responsive to our concerns and dedicated to making things right. The entire company is top notch.

Paid almost $300 for them to say they can’t fix it. Horrible service and pricing. They had the audacity to call me after I left my review and say they can come out and fix it and charge the fee of $199/hr even though they said they could not do it the day they came out. Horrible company

Jake was very courteous and professional. He seemed very knowledgeable. We were having trouble getting heat on the mini split and he showed us how to do it. We were very pleased with his service.

They have always done an excellent job when doing routine maintenance check ups on my mom's house for the past 4 years.. She's always been very pleased with their service, and their prices. They're also very personable and respectful. My mom also likes that they reach out to her to remind her when maintenance is due. Thank you for treating my mom and her house so well! Sean was awesome and came today to fix what turned out to be a broken condensation pump. He was efficient, extremely knowledgable, and explained everything to me really well so I knew what was going on. I appreciate it! Thank you again!!! A+ customer service! Justin, the tech for Area Heating and Cooling, arrived early for the maintenance appointment. He explained everything he was going to work on and also answered all the questions I had about the system. I have used Area Heating and Cooling on my first home and will continue using them

RUN!! Technician failed to show up for prescheduled (and prepaid plan) maintenance check of my heat pump. When I called, the receptionist was snippy and told me she had called me and left a message at 08:36 to tell me that no tech was coming out-she did not, there was no message or record of any call. When I told her this she became increasingly rude! She told me that 3 techs had called in sick and there was no one to come out. I work 12 hour night shifts and I had stayed awake 3 1/2 hours to wait for tech.
This company replaced my heat pump with a Trane years ago to the tune of more than 13k. I’m sure it would be more than double that now. The replacement pump is squeaky, noisy and obnoxious to be outside near. My neighbors complain about it and they are about 200 feet away! It was billed as quiet and efficient. The install was a total cluster and Area Heating and Cooling ended up cutting HUGE ugly holes in my ceiling to get adequate air flow (which they never did). I have a spare bedroom that we cannot close the door on or it impedes heating/cooling of our house. Technicians repeatedly install the wrong size filter during these “required” (for warranty) maintenance checks, causing the warning/fail lights and repeated visits. They also have sold me the wrong filters when I drove down to purchase several years worth at once. Come on, YOU installed the thing, surely you know what filter to use on the air handler. If I could give this company an F minus score, and a kick in the pants, I would. RUN! They are rude and do not deserve your thousands of hard-earned dollars! Really glad I have propane as a back-up. Good grief!

Ethan checked and cleaned our systems. He was a very nice young man who did what needed to be done in both of our buildings and kept me posted on his progress. Once again, Area Heating delivers as promised. We have been using Area for almost two decades and the installation of one Trane Heat Pump and a mini-split system in our guest house

Taylor was professional. He found the cause of the problem with the sensors for temperature indoors and outdoors not communicating. It was frogs. As you can see from the picture, there were three. As this was the second time, we both figured they were the cause the last time when everything shut down. Everything checked out afterward. Great service.

Chris Clark came to see us today. Wow! He did such a fantastic job. We’ve had many other text from Area Heating & Cooling and they’ve all been amazing. We are on their annual maintenance plan for our home AC unit and they always come and check it out. Make sure everything‘s running fix anything that’s not replace our filters answer any questions we have. These guys are great!!!

I was so pleased with the service of area heating and cooling. Their technician, Chris was polite, thorough, friendly, and explained everything in detail to make sure I understood the problem, the solution, Etc. He also gave me tips on how to keep my air conditioner running well for a long time. The repair was very quick.I would definitely use them again

We had a very good experience with area heating and cooling . We called for a maintenance appointment and that happened really fast within a week. The technician Brandon was efficient and courteous and very professional. Finish the maintenance on the air conditioner and heater in less than an hour. I highly recommend them
