Out with the old, in with the new. We had a new furnace and AC unit installed. It was a day and a half for the whole project. Our furnace was 25 years old, the AC was 24. It was time to replace the AC and with the prior repair history of the furnace, and to get the full efficiency of the new AC we chose to replace the furnace to match. Area Heating was the company that did the original install and has done all the maintenance since then. We’ve never had a bad experience with them. Their technicians are quite knowledgeable, professional, and nice people to work with. They give great advise and information. The new installation was quite impressive, clean and organized. And they always clean their workspace. We’ll always have them take care of our HVAC system.

Area heating and cooling fixed my a/c, AND heating in a very reasonable time! They were very professional, they made sure everything’s working correctly and it did not break my wallet! I highly recommend area heating and cooling if you are having issues with your air conditioner or your heating call them first! I appreciate their customer service, their honesty, and their helpfulness. I can now live with warmth in my house this year. They rewired my new thermostat that was not wired correctly. They fixed my transformer for my unit and they made sure everything was ready to go before they left. I highly recommend anybody needing help with their heating and air-conditioning to call area heating and cooling.

The rep was very helpful in understanding the status of our system. It is older and he gave us a good assessment of where we're at in terms of what our future needs will be.

We gave been using them for years. Always had great service and great people. They are very kind and especially caring for the sick and elderly. My 80 year old mom was a client and they always made sure her needs were met on the same day. Have recommended them to others and they had the sand great service!

I have never experienced a more thorough maintenance of our HVAC system in the 8 years we’ve lived here. Christopher Brunette checked literally everything to make sure it was functioning efficiently. He found a weak capacitor and replaced it on warranty, showed me how to clean my AC coils outside, and ran lots of diagnostics on our system. Normally techs are here 20 mins and then gone. Christopher spent extra time to make sure it was perfect. As a homeowner I really appreciate the attention to detail. Tell him thank you for me!

We had Area Heating & Cooling, Inc. install our brand new TRANE air conditioner today! We couldn’t be more pleased with the team from Area Heating & Cooling from the sales rep. James and to our AC install team Nathan and Ethan. They also installed our “brand new” Ecobee Smart Thermostat for us and showed us how to set the thermostat! They really took time to explain everything today and their expertise/knowledge was very satisfying as customer buying a new air conditioner! I would recommend them to anyone I know! I’m not one to write reviews, but I really thought I should share my wonderful experience today. We’re very thankful and much appreciated now will be covered through those hot summer nights now with our new air conditioner!

Spoke with Scott G during the summer regarding Trane and he answered all my questions for me to decide to proceed with the ocular visit to do estimates. He told me someone from the office will reach out to make the appointment but no one ever did. I followed up twice. Maybe its a sign that this is not the kind of customer service I want to deal with if I were to spend 10K+ for this new install.

Technicians are always informative and thorough, addressing all potential concerns. Maintenance plan is affordable and offers discount on repairs. Definitely a valued service all around.

Service Tech came out to diagnose an ongoing issue. Very courteous and professional. Reviewed estimate for repair, completed work and on his way.

I got over half a dozen bids for a new heat pump and while they weren't the cheapest option I could have picked, I found them to have the highest value. Their 72-month 0% APR was a huge selling point and came at a very small premium. I also rolled in their ten maintenance plan, which extended my Labor Warranty to tens years. I purchased a high efficiency Mitsubishi heat pump and because of their special training/certs, I have an eleven year parts warranty with Mitsubishi. Super friendly staff, qualify product, reasonable monthly payments at no interest, and no worries for the next ten years.

Don and his team did a great job installing my new Trane HVAC system. High quality work with great attention to detail. Explained benefits of using WiFi thermostat to optimize system efficiency.

Very happy with the time to find the problem. How fix .if do thermo image. Find crack. Have red flag. Not safe to run. Best to know. Said yes to image. It was huge crack. Then found us best price. Discouts. Today we furnace in 3 days. Even offered space heaters.

Very prompt and great at communicating with me! I submitted an appointment request online in the morning, and Tiffany called me a few hours later to let me know they had an opening for the same day. Brandon was absolutely wonderful! He came out to take a look at our furnace and heat pump because they were both making noise noises. He was friendly, courteous, and wonderful at explaining things. Both he and Tiffany at the office were great at communicating with me as to when Brandon would be here. Brandon was able to diagnose the problem, provide an estimate, order parts, and set up appointment to install the new furnace heater motor.

Consistent and quality service. Technicians are a pleasure to work with. Well-managed business. We have been working with Area Heating and Cooling for over 30 years. The first Trane Heat Pump they installed and serviced lasted 27 years. Installed new in 2018 and that one is doing great as well. We install new filters quarterly and Area Heating does their maintenance check every six months.

I've been an Area Heating customer since I built in 2003 and they did original install. First system lasted 12 years with multiple breakdowns. $17k for an all new, high efficiency trane heat pump and furnace in 2018, it ran 2 years and 3 months before losing its first compressor, parts covered by trane warranty but not labor or gas so, $2700.00 since it was 3 months past the 2 year install warranty. It's continued to break down nearly every summer since then, in some cases waited several weeks for parts to arrive. I've gone without AC during most of the last several heat waves. Here I am again 6/27/25 with another bad compressor and $17k worth of useless equipment. I've called several local HVAC companies about having them perform the needed repairs, they ask who did the installation, and when I tell them Area Heating, they refuse to touch it. I would avoid giving these people your business, they have zero skin in the game when your equipment breaks down, the trane warranty covers the parts and you're stuck with the labor bill at $200.00 hr. + refrigerant. A warranty for covering labor was not offered. What is their incentive to do a quality install when they are charging $200 hr for repairs? I also paid for all required biannual maintenance. With the consistent breakdowns of this equipment, there's obviously a problem with either the quality of trane equipment or installation and maintenance practices by Area Heating. Trane is at the top of the list in every review I can find along with Carrier and Lennox, so that kinda narrows it down. Speaking of reviews, notice how most of their "5 star reviews" talk about a prompt arrival time, or a courteous tech, or maybe a quick simple repair. I don't see any reviews saying how Area Heating stepped up and made things right when their equipment catastrophically fails, requiring $1000.00's to repair.
