Impressed with Noah and David’s exemplary installation of complete gas furnace and AC install. Was a virtually seamless process that replaced a 34 yr old gas furnace. At the end, David helped set up the new Ecobee thermostat and smartphone app--which works more intuitively than the Nest that it replaced.

Too, they left my garage cleaner than they found it.

The install was also as responsive as humanly possible. Service techs Jess and Tim diagnosed CO leaks in my old furnace at around 6 PM on a Thursday in December. Tim worked the phones to pull the install together that night. First thing the next morning, the install crew arrived.

Additionally, Tim took the time during the sales presentation to answer my pesky questions about corporate governance, industry trends, market penetration, and vertical integration.

I am trying to think of even one criticism, and I cannot think of any.

Like anyone reading this review, I didn't wake up that morning thinking, "Hmm, I'd like to sign for $25k today." But I knew my HVAC was very old, and that this day was coming. I really appreciated how the whole group made this significant event as seamless, down to the ground, and painless as possible.

It also builds confidence and feels refreshing to work with installers who know what they're doing, enjoy their trade, and enjoy the equipment. I actually will walk out to the garage sometimes to look at the units and the workmanship, it is neat to me.

The hospitality that the owner shows is outstanding. He put my needs of my family's heat first priority over his own family time. I needed a furnace fixed at late night on a weekend, Hill & Hill was one of the only ones that come out and work n the snow or late at night. HILL&HILL and his team were nice proficient and got my heat on for my family. From now on I will only go to HILL&HILL for all my heating and cooling needs.

Had them out to look at my old furnace. turns out it was too old too fix. they gave me a very fair price and stuck to that price 6 months after they quoted it!. they are always fast and on time and prices are great!

Honest and fair pricing. Gary called me back and squeezed me at the end of the day during a heat wave. Other companies weren't taking messages nor calling me back. It was a simple fix due to my own error. They were honest and didn't take advantage of my lack of knowledge. When it comes time to replace the unit, I'm calling them.

Gary and his crew are top notch. Independent replaced my old heater and AC with new Rheem units. The install was done on time, they showed up when scheduled, the cost was as quoted, and the results were great. Specifically Gary and crew took the extra effort to make sure the install looked good in addition to being by the book and per code. Gary's crew were professional, well trained, and guided me through the process, maintenance, and other considerations. Highly recommend Gary and Independent Heating and Cooling - they do great work and the price is very reasonable.

My grandmother has used this service for decades. The owner John has always been open, honest, and punctual when it comes to helping our family.

The other day we ran into an issue with my grandmother’s air conditioning before an upcoming heatwave, we naturally called John first. Unfortunately he was under the weather with COVID so we made the unfortunate mistake of calling another specialist. This other company said the issue would take multiple days to fix and would cost over $2,000. We decided to wait for John to feel better and we are so grateful we did. The next day after he recovered, He was able to find and fix the problem in less than 30 minutes and was kind enough to not charge my grandmother a dime.

He has been the most wonderful professional in this field and we are so grateful for his service and genuine care.

Customer focused! I reached out to this company for a commercial space heating repair. They responded promptly and remedied all of our issues. I appreciate them very much and highly recommend them.

I paid over 600.00 to have a full service , when they got to my house my unit was working perfect it was cold inside ,I noticed when they cleaned vents they just stuck the hose on them with no vent cover , two of my vents don’t have any air coming from them at all now, I think something is clogged . I have called , messaged and recalled with no response . I will not use this company again and would advise others to be careful .
