We chose NW HVAC to install our Bosch ductless heat pump owing to the many years of trusted service they have provided for our old gas furnace. Everyone in their team are efficient, clear in their communication, tidy and respectful. We highly recommend them for any of your heating and cooling needs.

NW HVAC had previously installed the heating and cooling system for the house I bought a year ago. They have performed routine service on this system for me, and also installed a mini-split system. The people and the service have been outstanding. Highly recommended.

They installed my new HVAC and heat pump a few years back. I think they did a really good job, the gentleman that sealed up all the ducting at the end with the tape was extremely thorough. They have been out three times since. Once for maintenance, twice for repair. All the technicians are friendly and professional. I did opt for the 10 year parts and labor warranty with my Coleman heat pump - Unfortunately, there’s always a service fee. They have reasonable pricing, and I continue to call them for all my needs.

They just completed a full system install at my home and the experience was outstanding from start to finish.

Special shout-out to Tristan, Tyler, and Kellan—these guys are absolute pros. They showed up on time every day, worked efficiently, and treated my house with more care than I expected. They kept everything clean, explained every step of the process in a way that actually made sense, and happily answered all my questions without ever making me feel rushed.

The attention to detail was impressive, communication was clear and constant, and when they left you could barely tell they’d been there (except for the brand-new, perfectly installed system running quietly in the background).

This is a company that clearly hires and trains great people. The whole process—from the first consultation to the final cleanup—was smooth, professional, and genuinely pleasant. I’ve dealt with contractors before… this was not that. This was the gold standard.

Great experience replacing our HVAC system. From initial contact, where Tristan made sure to understand what we wanted (efficient, safe, long-lasting), to the great batch of guys getting the install done in a day —and doing a couple of extra things they didn’t have to like fixing a vent cover. Happy to recommend.

NW HVAC replaced my old furnace with a hybrid system (heat pump + furnace). Another company quoted a larger system, and NW HVAC said they'd quote a larger system too if I wanted, but they were confident that the system they had quoted was sized correctly. I've now had the system for over a year and a half and can confirm it works great year-round.

They also came out and did some additional work to make some adjustments to the duct-work, which had been designed for heat only when the house was built.

All of the work they did was very professional and reasonably priced. Communication was always good. I'm not exaggerating when I say that I wish I had a company like NW HVAC for all types of home maintenance.

Have had a system for eight months and it’s an excellent experience. Their sales team is not pushy; they give you the facts, present your options and give you the freedom to make a choice. The install was fast and professional, and the system works as expected. Fantastic all around.

They provided a quote that was less than two others with more advanced equipment. Installation was seamless and completed in a day. The installers did a great job and addressed all the specific installation issues I requested. Great Company and Team. We have also used them at my church for repairs and trouble shooting. Again great staff.

The team at NW HVAC answered all our questions and concerns. So when they came to our home to install our mini-split system we were at ease and happy with the work that was done. We could not be happier with our system and that NW HVAC worked with the PUD and Southwest Clean Air in submitting the paperwork they needed for our system. Triston Mull helped us from the beginning to the very end - if you want someone that is knowledgeable and wants to spend the time with you so you understand each step- he is over the top and the very best. NW HVAC takes customer service over the top and understands what customer service means. We give them an A1 rating.

My wife and have been using NW HVAC since we bought our house 13 years ago. They have been absolutely great about helping us maintaining our furnace and central air unit. Have quickly responded to a few emergencies. The also replaced and updated our HVAC equipment last year at a cost that was a little over $3000 less than we had budgeted. I never leave reviews, however this company has definitely earned my appreciation.

Had a whole brand new HVAC system installed with the hybrid heat pump and gas furnace. I even had all the duct work replaced with the smooth galvanized steel. This team of workers did a fantastic job. They were tidy, communicated well and very personable. I was always able to get a hold of Steve, the owner, in a timely fashion. There was a small hiccup with the heat pump system that they were able to rectify in a relatively short time. Highly recommended.

They are the absolute SMARTEST choice. We continue to be delighted with their customer service, their accurate estimates for repairs, the reasonable cost for their services and the high quality of their work. Jose called stating he can be here little early which was great. When he arrived he listen as I explained what the issue with my AC unit was and I asked him if installing an Clear EZ trap will take care of the problem and he agreed that would most like take care of it. He also mentioned that while installing the Clear EZ trap he will make sure pipe has an incline for better drainage. He was very professional, courteous and knowledgeable.
First I wanted to give them a higher star rating but after getting the bill and their response when I called to ask why bill was so high I give them “ONE STAR”

UPDATE: Today I received my bill and I was shocked how much they charged for 30 minutes work total bill was $370.40

$147 for diagnostic ( which there was no diagnostic done because I told him what to install).
$193.75 for less 30 minutes work.
$29.65 taxes
It’s sad when we thrive to use local companies, but then you get screwed by taking advantage and charge astronomical prices.

I WILL NEVER USE “SMART CHOICE HEATING& COOLING”NOR WILL I RECOMMEND THEM TO ANY ONE.

When I called the company to ask why the bill was so high the person said I am sorry that what we charge wether is 5 minutes or 90 minutes. Crazy and outrageous in my opinion.

Brandon arrived on time, was polite and professional and did a thorough check of our system. He replaced the part that had broken and explained to us what to expect with our aging system. This is the second time we’ve used Smart Choice and we will continue to do so in the future!
