Smart choice did the maintenance on my heater and air conditioner but they replaced a capacitor on my heater and charged me $80.00 for a $10.00 part and when I called to ask about it she tried to spin it by saying they dont buy there parts from amazon. I found the capacitor at supply house and parts town for under ten dollars and $14.95 on amazon with free shipping and they were all the factory OME part from Trane not an after market one that they charged me $80.00 for then she tried to tell me that was also labor to install it, the guy had to pull the old one out to test it as part of the maintenance so because it was bad I have to pay to reinstall the new part he would have had to put it back in the heater. I now wonder if it was bad in the first place the new one is smaller then the old on is this going to burn up my motor so I would have to call them back to fix the motor ??? I will never use them again and make sure nobody I know will use them either. Smart choice was a bad choice

The installation team, Austin Spears and Nic Ortiz, were just as impressive. They were punctual, professional, and took great care to do the job right. Their attention to detail, clear communication, and respect for my home didn’t go unnoticed. Highly recommend!

Came same day and my service guy was awesome. Turned out to be an easy fix but he spent time walk me through my system and not only discussed the current issue but future issues and how to problem solve.

I was very impressed I called and the turnaround time with less than 2 hours. Pricing was more than fair. The employee that came came out was very professional. I would highly recommend.

The A/C failed on a really hot day and they provided same-day service! Jen in the office was a pleasure to work with and kept me updated all the way. The technician quickly identified and fixed our problem and the price was quite reasonable. I appreciate the reliability and professionalism and excellent service all the way around.

Our AC stopped working late in the evening and Smart Choice was able to come out and fix our AC the next day. They were transparent and timely on helping us get our system back up, especially during one of the hottest weeks of the year. Thanks for your help! I've been using Smart Choice Heating & Cooling in Vancouver WA, for about 4 years now. Their technicians have always been timely, friendly, and very knowledgeable. Always taking time to explain what work they are performing, why, and offering options when available. Whether it's routine maintenance, replacing an evaporation cooler, or servicing our heat pump, I'm confident in their abilities, knowledge, and fair pricing without question. I live in Woodland WA, so it's nice that they service SW Washington and come this far. Kudos to techs Jacob, Brandon, and receptionist Jen. Always friendly and professional.

Our AC went out on a warm August day. Realized we needed help at about 11am, called Smart Choice at noon and Brandon was at our house by 230pm. He quickly diagnosed the issue and gave a thorough explanation about next steps. Once we were informed, we authorized the (reasonably priced) repair, and we were back up and running before 4pm. He let us know more info, as our system is old and will need to be replaced soon, but only as a kind heads up, not pushy in any way. Great experience from start to finish!

Updating this review: unfortunately, my AC quit working in the recent high temps. Smart Choice was able to get a tech out super quickly, and it turns out my antiquated AC unit needed replacing.

Smart Choice provided a competitive estimate to replace both the AC and my furnace (also old as the hills). Because I've worked with them for several years now, I trusted them with the job and am happy I did!

The techs arrived on time, ready to get started and finished the job ahead of my expectations. They were friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. Finally I am no longer sweltering in my house!!

Original review: I was able to schedule service quickly, and the tech arrived on time. He was able to explain issues to me in simple terms without "dumbing it down", fixed and cleaned my system quickly, and was professional. Very good experience, and I will use this company again!

We were looking for a small local family run business to use for maintenance on our heating and air conditioner units. Brandon came out the same week and did the service on our furnace. While he was serving the unit, Brandon discovered that the igniter was mispositioned which could have caused the unit to not work correctly.
We look forward to having Brandon return to service our air conditioner unit in the spring.

We've used them at a few times now at different locations and we will definitely call them again when an issue comes up. Pricing was always fair and the technicians were always honest and accurate with their diagnosis and repair. Most importantly, they answer their phones and return calls as well. One of the better commercial repair company's out there...Highly Recomended!

The HVAC was flagged on a house we were buying because of its age and an issue with the temperature of the air coming out of the ducts. Top Choice came right away and cleared the system, recommending routine maintenance. We appreciated their promptness and professionalism in not telling us the system needed to be replaced unless it really needed it.

Smart Choice technicians are the best! They examine everything thoroughly and if there are any anomalies they do not hesitate to check with their colleagues to be sure they are providing the right service. They replaced my hvac system in 2018, have done maintenance, and have provided Bryant parts warranty work. I would recommend them to anyone.

The team at Smart Choice worked effectively to get our HVAC system redone.Our furnace and AC were over 20 years old and were in need of a swap out for newer energy efficient models. Customer service was good and the people working at the house were thorough and kept us in the know about what was going on during the installation. We even were lucky to get a promotion at the right time. Now our house feels more cozy. Great price, highly recommend.

Awesome friendly team and super helpful in explaining what was happening. Made maintenance so easy and learned a lot about a system I had acquired. Even assisted in advising me on how to transfer warranty from the manufacturer to ensure I was covered on the new unit that was recently installed. I called Absolute Heating & Cooling based on all the outstanding reviews. Martin certainly lived up to everything others have said about him and Absolute Heating & Cooling. I purchased my home late last summer and at the time was told maintenance had been completed on the furnace and air conditioner. Well that was not true! My air conditioning unit was frozen up and was not blowing cold air. Martin came out the same day I contacted him to evaluate the situation. My unit needed to be turned off so it could thaw. He returned 4 days later performed maintenance on the unit which apparently had not been done in years and also installed a Nest thermostat. Absolute delivers fair and reasonable prices, they are professional, & honest. I will be sharing this company with all my friends. Thank you Martin!!
