Was very pleased with Kyle, the technician. Knowledgable and friendly. Problem was fixed quickly and he stuck around to make sure everything was functioning properly. Scheduling was easy, and I was informed about arrival time.

A week ago, Harker came in to install a new furnace and AC. They did a really good job. The 2 person team of Eric and Maurice worked really well together. Eric focused on Furnace and Maurice on AC. They were friendly, knowledgeable, proficient and obviously knew what they were doing. This was my first time with a furnace/AC install so I was glad to have these guys inside (and outside) the house.

There were 2 things that surprised me that I wanted to share:
1) Our salesperson, Andrew, told us it would take all day. He wasn't exaggerating. It took about 9.5-10 hours. I wish I had listened better to the time estimate. (We planned to go out for dinner which worked really well. Maybe Harker will start offering gift cards so everyone can do that...hint, hint...ha ha.)
2) The furnace install was a messier event than I expected. (There were booklets, equipment and such spread over every spare inch of available surface area.) I might advise staying away as they did a pretty good cleanup job.

Last comment: The time/messiness comments would not have changed any decision we made. Eric and Maurice did a great job. Our AC is much more quiet and I am looking forward to a similar experience with our furnace. Many thanks to everyone at Harker

Lots of hidden costs!! We will not be returning to Harker again. They initially installed our water heater 7 years ago --- and now it leaks and needs replacement. Harker tech guy came out and within 1 minute of looking at the water heater said we'd need a new one. Somehow, we were then charged not only the "technician dispatch fee" of $125 - that INCLUDES 15 minutes of diagnosis, but also charged $95 for "minor diagnostic service". The guy spent tops 10 minutes on water heater. Foolishly, we also agreed to a "Clean and Check Furnace" service since the tech was here - which was another $173 (and they didn't even change filter).
45 MINUTE VISIT TOTAL BILL: $400+ and nothing was fixed. Wow. I'm going back to small, local plumber for new water heater and personal service (Harker uses an AI bot to book appointments so you have no idea what time of day they'll arrive)

UPDATED from 1 to 5 stars based on Harker’s response to my initial review. they got in touch right away, acknowledged the problem, and refunded us the money. mistakes happen. good customer service to address the mistakes goes a long way.

Got a second opinion after they said we were leaking carbon monoxide and charged us $360 (fixed nothing.) Cardinal heating came in fixed the isssue and asked who had messed with the furnace. Only charged us $115. Do not use Harker.

Harker H&C has provided the best experience in repairing and inspection of AC and Furnace for us.
We have used their services multiple times in the past and each time their technicians are extremely professional and friendly.
Brandon L. the other day was a super hero doing a yearly inspection service and detailing out the status of our furnace.

Terrance was very professional, diagnosed then replaced the control valve for baseboard hot water heater. He had all the parts & tools on the truck. Tidied up after the work. Would recommend!

Internal components of 5 year old furnace needed to be replaced. Parts were replaced under warranty. Lee Sowers did an excellent job, was very thorough and professional. Harker is a little expensive but always does quality work.

Harker had a great price. Andrew answered all of my questions during the estimating process. They enabled me to utilize the HEAR and focus on energy programs. Eric and Maurice did an excellent job of installing it. They were very courteous , considerate and skilled workers.

Had a Harker Tech over do to a furnace inspection in our new house. They were both very polite and professional, and took the time to educate me on some things concerning the system as this is my first house. Overall very satisfied with the service!

We went 36 hours without heat. But within 6 hours we had Harker send over 4 space heaters and assessment that we needed a new furnace. Once the decision was made as to the size and brand, we got out new furnace the next day. It took 3 hours for the installation. I cannot imagine this process going smoother. Harker made the worst incident into the easiest.

Technician Tyler was first-rate, as was Supervisor Adrian. They seem to have done a great job, though how would I ever really know, unless the boiler broke down. Despite my reminder to the front office when I booked the appointment, they quoted me, and told Tyler, that it was a furnace servicing. We don't have a furnace, we have a HE boiler, so that's twice the cost they quoted me. If I had known the actual cost, I would have shopped around a bit.

The work completed by Lee and the customer service provided by Nate is match by none. They are a pleasure to work with. I have been a Harker customer for 22years, and their excellence to detail and customer satisfaction is phenomenal

Harker was incredibly prompt and helpful. Everyone from Harker that came to our house (during the initial assessment to produce an estimate of the cost of a new furnace and then during the installation) was professional, nice, and knowledgeable. Special shout out to Aaron Wood!

Alexis was very professional. He quickly found the issue with my heating and fixed it efficiently. He explained everything clearly and made sure it was working properly before leaving. I’m very satisfied with the service and would recommend him.

Harper helped us complete a huge project replacing our whole HVAC system with a new heat pump and furnace through the HEAR program. Not only were Sean and Adam who did the install fantastic, thorough, and skilled, the project setup process and gear rebate steps were really easy working with Andrew. Can’t thank Harker enough for the great work.

Lee was great! He even pulled our trash bin up to the front of our driveway for us when he got here. Very knowledgeable and helpful and did a great job. We have used Harker every year to service and maintain our furnace and our air-conditioning unit. Highly recommend them!

Mark only gave me ~10 minute warning that he was coming to my home for the service. He said that he had to get his coffee and forgot?? I was in an extremely important meeting… by the time I could get to the door, he was back in his truck and about to leave. Since when is coffee more important than customer service??. With more warning, I could have prepared to step away for 3
Minutes to let him in.
In the end, nothing needed fixing.., $165 for a “service call” is too much particularly when coffee was more important than proper warning of arrival time. I won’t be a repeat customer

Had a great experience with a service call with technician Lee Cowers from Harker Heating. Furnace had a vibration with inducer fan which was replaced earlier this year. Lee quickly evaluated the problem with an out of round fan that was causing the noise and had already started to wear the bearings on the new motor. Lee gathered the necessary information and review with his boss. Lee returned several days later with a new motor and fan. Had the new items installed in 30 minutes.
Highly recommend Lee if you need any service needs. Very knowledgeable about heating and cooling.

Jason and his helper were fast, efficient and friendly. I just ordered a new Rheem furnace from Harker and I have no doubt that I'll get the same great service as I did today when they serviced my Rheem water heater.
