We interviewd a number of companies to replace our aging furnace this fall, and Harker was our top choice. They are knowlegeable, experienced and easy to work with. A number of options were given and explained. Measurements were taken. The installer, Dave, and his assistant were more than capable, completing the install quickly and efficiently. Dave also took time to help me install and get running a new thermostat. The furnace runs well and we are very pleased with Harker's work.

Tanner was extremely knowledgeable, kind, and professional! He got our furnace up and running again in no time! He even gave our dogs some much wanted attention which made their day! The fact that he came out to our house on the coldest day of the year with a smile on his face says a lot about the kind of guy he is! I was incredibly impressed with Tanner’s work and would highly recommend him and Harker Heating and Cooling to anyone!

I called Harker after hours for a furnace repair. The AI system was remarkably easy to schedule the appointment. The technician assigned, Matthew, was on time. Mathew immediately diagnosed the problem and was able to fix it. He then proceeded to check multiple other parts of the furnace to ensure they were working and/or clear of fluids. Matthew was happy to explain what he was doing and how the issues impact the broader appliance.

Overall I was impressed and very pleased. I certainly would recommend Harker to others and would suggest they ask for Matthew.

Our gas fireplace was turning off randomly after 20 years of being neglected and I assumed we would need to spend a few thousand to replace it since everything else in our home has “reached end of life”. The service tech cleaned the entire thing, fixed a gas leak, made sure the foam logs were properly installed per the figure he somehow found in the internet, even cleaned the glass inside & out. He spent over 2 hours making sure it was all running correctly and even vacuumed the area he worked in. He was very professional, friendly and knowledgeable. Honestly it was the best service provider I’ve had in our home and the cost was one of the lowest too. A+++ Matthew.

We had an inspection of our furnace on a Friday and they found a hole in our heat exchange, so we wanted to have it replaced as soon as was possible. We got a few quotes, and they were similar, but the products Harker offered and the quote they provided convinced us to go with them. They were able to install the next day and two techs removed the old furnace and installed the new in about 3 hours. They were great, and I would use Harker again for sure.

Harker wasn't the least expensive, but they offer good value. I like that they are are a union shop, have a long history in the area, and also the vibes from everyone we spoke with were excellent.

Adrian was professional and courteous and knowledgeable and performed CO2 analysis and checked all system error codes, reviewed readings with me and discussed options for furnace replacement. Contacted sales and we ask worked together to arrive at the best decision. Installation team was available same day to complete removing the old and installing the new with necessary ductwork, hoses, smart thermostat. I’m very pleased I called Harker!

Recently had a hot water heater installed by these guys. Communication was great, and the quality of the actual workmanship seems solid. However, the care taken for our house wasn’t awesome. In draining the old tank, they plastered appliances and boxes in our basement with the scale-filled water and didn’t bother to clean it up. Just a little bit of care to MOVE things out of the way and clean up after would have been easy and appreciated. And their quote was far from the cheapest so I expected better. When I reached out what I heard was a genuine but insufficient ‘oh, sorry’. Not looking for handouts here, but if you miss the mark on something, there are plenty of ways to make it right, none of which they offered. Will probably look elsewhere for my next hvac need.
