Fair pricing and they were able to get in quickly. Very hard working team of two. Also, very clean. Finished the job in from start to finish in same day. I would definitely recommend them.

Dickenschrauf was our plumbing contractor for our new build. They were on-time, (which is MUCH appreciated) professional, took pride in their work, were responsive to requests and concerns (even AFTER we moved in) and were very easy to work with. Would HIGHLY recommend them!

Ryan was so helpful in getting a plumber over to the house to do a repair on several different items within the home I had listed in Milwaukee near Wauwatosa. Ryan was quick to respond and the cost was reasonable for the job. I definitely would recommend Dickenschrauf Plumbing, Heating & Cooling and use them again.

My furnace went out in winter, early evening. Dickenschrauf came out right away, assessed and came the next day to replace my old furnace. They gave me a couple of options. Quick, easy, reasonable and clean. I hope I don't have to call them anytime soon, but I highly recommend them to anyone who needs service.

I had my furnaces tuned up last week by Randy. He did a great job. The furnaces are running better and smoothly. I definitely recommend Dickenschrauf Heating and Cooling and Plumbing. Been a regular customer for Plumbing since 2019. They also do a great job. Thumbs Up

Upgraded my water heater to a HE system, what a difference in recovery time, should have done it sooner, awesome installation, clean and on time.
Upgraded (my feelings) my thermostat from a nest to Honeywell T6. Had my winter tune up on the furnace, again great job. It took about 2 hours, really took it apart and cleaned and inspected everything. At the end of the day furnace is running at a 93% efficacy. Very happy with everything!

Plumbing response is unacceptable. Hot water heater failed 2 - 3 times over 7 years. No suggestions provided to remedy this issue. Called office a few weeks ago to report hot water heater leaking. They said Ryan handled warranties. No response for 2 weeks. Called office again when hot water heater began leaking profusely. They couldn't fit me in and said no plumbers available until next Monday. Then later that day all hot water ceased. Tried to contact everyone (office, Dan, Ryan, office cell) but was given runaround and no one provided any customer service or options. Finally, on Monday (4 days with no hot water), reached Ryan (after several calls), he looked into it and said warranty was no longer in effect. I cancelled all future business with this company. Planning, organization, follow through and response times are extremely problematic. Fortunately, immediately found new plumber that was respectful and responsive.

We always have amazing experiences with Dickenschrauf fixing our HVAC! We had a horrible power surge that fried out HVAC in the middle of winter and Dickenschrauf was able to come the next morning and fix our issue. Thank you thank you!

The good news is you can only get better from here. 2 men came to the house I rent and asked if I'm the homeowner (inform your technicians). They set up shop in the basement and blasted music for 5 hours. Then, a knock on my door at 3pm, and a worker said, "for the hot water heater, we need an extension cord and a 2-split outlet." Is this a request, or a statement that they need to go buy one to complete the job? How are these items not in the 2 vans they drove here and why did it take 6hrs into your job to recognize this? 1 man then asked for the homeowner's number. I looked & found an extension cord and an outlet splitter to offer for the rest of their task. When handing it over, the big gruff man said, "we need two." What is going on? They left my house with cords dangling in the doorway, and the water pressure is still funked and in fact, and piping now making noises. The objects they moved from my porch in order to enter my house were left outside; never told me they were done and leaving for the day--god forbid I receive any form of communication from them; would like to lock my house up again. Landlord is notified, so can address with the company directly, but good god--what a low bar.

We love working with Dickenschrauf for plumbing and HVAC work. They are quick to schedule, always on time, and do a great job for a fair price. I have used them half a dozen times. 5 Stars!

Updated: after several weeks was able to get someone back out. The guys that did the work were great. Very friendly, cleaned up well, quality work.
Just the scheduling that’s the issue
Original review: First service was great, but since then can’t get Ryan to respond to calls or texts. The techs that were out were all great too. Please, find someone else to handle the scheduling for plumbing services.

Reached out to you guys in the middle of November to get a mixer changed in our shower and wanted to give my wife the mixer /shower parts for Christmas and schedule install for the end of January. Ryan texted a few times, but never came through and left me hanging. Had to give her a picture and a promise now trying to find someone I can count on to do the work. Referred you guys a bunch over the last year, but can’t do that any longer in good conscience if this is the service you would be providing to our clients. Matt -HSH Property Inspection

Ryan is the best plumber in town. He has done multiple jobs for us at our home and at our rental over the last 5 years. He has done everything from routine work, kitchen and basement remodel, as well as last minute emergency call when our hot water heater failed 3 hours before renters were arriving. He was in and out, efficient, professional, courteous, and speedy, AND fair pricing. He has never let us down. We have used multiple local Wauwatosa plumbing companies and this is the best one, hands down, we will highly recommend and continue to call Ryan for all our needs. THANK YOU!

Can't speak for the HVAC but very disappointed with the plumbing side. Awful reliability, communication and professionalism.

This response is late because I was not going to say anything about the service call. The toilet issue was resolved by replacing the inner workings of the toilet and the cost was fair.
But two months later a part that was replaced started making noises. I called and explained and the next day Dickenschrauf had someone come out early to replace that part.
Thay stand by their work , which by some of today's standards
is admirable.
I would recommend them, job well done.

I am in the process of building a bathroom in my basement and I wanted to give the plumbers a big thanks. They were professional, quick, fair prices, and did a great job. I had a few extra odd jobs they took care of in no time flat.

During my bathroom build, I worked with the designer and she helped me pick out fixtures and toilet to all match. People are very jealous of my new bathroom.

Things they have done so far: new pipe under the cement floor, install new toilet, install shower faucet, shower pan, faucet for my sink, and replaced my galvanized pipe with PEX. With the new PEX my water pressure is great and they had the pipes replaced in a day.

I called on a Thursday night to have shut off valves replaced. I explained new washer couldn't be hooked up because of bad valve. Explained my house was effected by flood waters. I needed washer hooked up asap. 2 guys showed up at my door 1st thing Friday morning. I appreciate the efficiency so much. Thank you

They were wonderful on our new house build! Very good at communicating, answering questions and making sure we were happy with their service. Would definitely recommend and use again!

I have had very successful experiences with the HVAC side of this business, so I reached out for a plumbing job as part of a master bath remodel. Ryan was prompt to come on site and evaluate the project and provide an estimate. We negotiated a start date based on his availability. From that point the service fell apart. He didn't show up on the day he chose to start, and did not respond to two texts or one email sent on that day. There was no communication as to why he didn't make it or when he might be there. Five days later a brief text was sent stating he would email me later that night, but the email communication never happened. I reached out one more time to try to reconnect and find out if commitment to the work was possible, and received no response. I have never been ghosted by a professional service in this manner. The lack of communication had a negative domino effect on the entire project calendar. Be very cautious in choosing these plumbing services; at least no money was lost in the process.
