BEWARE! THEY HAVE NO CLUE HOW TO DIAGNOSE A FURNACE, JUST PUSHING A COMPLETE REPLACEMENT $4K+. My parents furnace stopped working. I ran through all the diagnostic steps in the manual and everything pointed to a bad ignition module. It's a $200+ part so we called Action to come and diagnose hoping they would have the same findings. Kurt showed up. Did a couple tests and determined that the brand new thermostat we put in was bad and that there was a bad wire going to to the ignitor. He also noted the safety switch that's been bypassed for 30 years to allow us to lite the furnace manually when the ignitor would fail every few years. He had absolutely no idea how to diagnose or fix the issue he just said we need a whole new unit for $4k+. CHARGED MY MOM $254 AND LEFT WITH NO HEAT IN THE HOUSE!!!! We brought over a few space heaters. The next day I bought the ignition module for over $200, installed it, setup the program card and bingo! HEATER WORKS GREAT! Kurt had no idea how to test the circuitry between the source and feed in and out of the ignition module. He saw 120 volts on one leg into the module and assumed this was the feed to the ignitor so he took a guess and said there was a bad wire to the ignitor. NOT THE CASE AT ALL!! Ignition unit was receiving 120v but was not sending 120v to ignitor even though all safety checks and switches functioned as they should. DONT LET THESE GUYS RIP YOU OFF!!! THEY SHOULD BE REFUNDING THE $254 AS THEY DIDNT HELP IN ANYWAY SHAPE OR FORM. TOTAL CRAP SERVICE AT A REDICULOUS PRICE!!!!

We had our comlete heating//cooling system, yearly check up. The standard for service that we are use to has always been achieved thru Action services. Nick was professional,
informative, and treated our sysytem as it were his.

Had no heat and we told the technician that the likely the module is bad and we would like him to replace it. He refused and all he tried to do is sell us a $5,000 furnace and charged us 250 dollars for basically coming in and telling us that we need a new furnace. I went to Grainger purchase the module replaced it and the furnace works excellent now. This place is a paper pusher all they want to do is sell you a new furnace stay away. SCAM.

Sent a contractor out to my home where I paid $500 and they didn't fix the issue. Advised there was nothing wrong my furnace and that its my thermostat. The furnace went out again the next day the contractor advised he would return and never contacted me again. I had to contact a completely different company who came and fixed the issue -which was the furnace- in 30 minutes. Ridiculous.

We called another company for a furnace repair due to no heat in cold weather. After 5 visits and a $1250.00 in repairs, it was misdiagnosed, ran for one night intermittently and then they offered to give us a credit towards a new furnace at a cost of $8000 dollars. Ridiculous. We called Action Heating in Mikwaukee. When Action came ou, they found a totally different problem, fixed it that night for only $175.00 and also gave us a credit towards a new furnace for $4000.00 and installed it the next day.
2 weeks later, the other furnace in this home failed and they repaired it with an option to replace it as well. We had it replaced that same week for same amount. They were neat, timely, efficient and cleaned up the entire work area in 5 hours and took the old parts and old furnace away. The salesman, JJ was a pleasure to work with. Absolutely not pushy or aggressive. Polite and very knowledgeable about all the latest products available to us. He gave us 2 product options without any high pressure sales tactics to buy it now for less money. We would refer Action Heating to everybody.

We wanted central air installed in both upper and lower units of our duplex in Bay View. It was a difficult job because we have boiler system heating so don't have any ductwork in either unit. I contacted several companies for an estimate and they weren't interested in doing the job because it was a difficult job or they gave us very high estimates. Joe from Action came out to look at the job and he said "sure" they could do it , and he gave me a price that I thought was more than fair. I've used Action in the past for a couple of my rentals and have always been very happy with them so I felt comfortable going with them and knew they could handle the job. They've just finished the job, and I couldn't be happier with the job they did. It wasn't an easy job for sure but it turned out great. Adam was the lead installer and I could tell was very experienced in the more complex jobs and his assistant Austin was very competent and pleasant. Joe stopped out often to check and see how it was going and to see if I had any questions or concerns. He was always very upbeat and pleasant and I felt comfortable working with him. If I wanted any "add ons" or changes they were very accommodating and it was no problem. I was really pleased with the job they did on running the ducts. He had to cut through a couple walls in basement and one in the attic. I was concerned the ducts in both basement and walk up attic would be an eye sore but somehow they were able to place them higher and more discreetly than I expected. Great job. Thanks! Just in time for summer heat.

Checked for leaks and replaced pipe near water heater. Their work was professional and thorough. When they were done, they explained what was fixed. 👍🏼

Nick was at our home for about an hour doing work on our gas furnace. He explained what he found and did a nice job cleaning up.

Arcadio came out on a Sunday and the rest of the crew came today, Wednesday early and got the job done thank you guys so much for installing my new furnace. I am beyond blessed.
