The two stars are for the professional plumber that goes by the name of T. He explained everything and the scoop of the job for my situation. However, the front office lady needs to change her job for sure. I've have had two to three different interactions with her and the first one you could say maybe she had a bad day, the second, she became so frustrated she started to raise her voice. This last one she straight up hung the phone up that is why I don't know her name. Now, if your working the front office and deal with people regularly you would think that you could have some respect to the people that call and ask for more clarity for the work that they are going to pay for. Also, their webpage is down and has been down for a while. I worked extra hard to give her positive vibes when I spoke with her. Buyer be ware, the front office needs some reassignment, but the tech was very well spoken with a positive disposition.

I was assigned this company through my home warranty. The first time they came out and fixed a couple of the things we needed fixed. They did not fix the one problem though that was the main one (water line leaking under sink.) I called both Carl's plumbing and my home warranty back to get them back out to finish the job. We rescheduled another time, but I had to cancel the day before. I sent an email during business hours and called the office after I got out of work at 6:52 pm. Some guy from Carl's plumbing called me the morning of 8-18 and said I cannot reschedule. He was very rude and very uncooperative. The customer service was terrible and the work they do is not the greatest either. I am very displeased with this company and how they operate.

Used Carl's through our HSA warranty, they called within a few hours after our online request to set up an appointment for the next week to check on our sump pump that hadn't been running. He came within the given time frame, was very friendly, took the time to explain the issue (and fix it), and gave us tips on what to look for in a working sump pump. Thank you!

This company was assigned by my home warranty insurance to fix a leaking toilet. They fixed the leak, but accidentally broke the toilet paper holder in the process. The plumber stated that he would talk to the owner about fixing it and get back to me, which didn't happen. I called numerous time and was told someone would call me back, and no one ever did. This happened in November 2022, never heard bak from them. They at least could have been honest and said they weren't going to fix it

I was a little nervous to work with these guys after seeing the reviews. But overall not bad, got the new water heater installed. They let me know to change the wiring, and that I could hire an electrician, or if I felt comfortable, I could do it myself. I did it, saved me a good chunk of cash.

The plumbers were what I expected, you're handy man type, nothing negative to say there. Nice enough guys here to do their job.

The one downside I can say would be the additional fee for using a card to pay. I get it, they have to call in, but phone card readers would make it pretty easy. Maybe even cheaper.

I called my home warranty company American Home Warranty. I had the shower faucet leak and they sent Carl’s to my place. They changed the cartridge. Soon after the pipes started making this vibrating noise. They were sent again and they changed the cartridge again. The noise in the pipes still came after . They were sent the third time and this time he just diagnosed and left. I have to call the Home warranty company to find out the outcome and they said the cartridge is fine and they dont know where the noise is coming from!!! Really????
I would never recommend Carl’s plumbing to anyone!!!

Carls came out. After one failed attempt with Chris the plumber. At least Carls removed the pipe. They said a piece of my pipe needed to be replaced. They came out June 7 th. Today is June 17 th. I had
To call to find out what’s going on. A woman was able to tell me that they need to cut out a section of pipe. The cost should not exceed 600.00🤣 I’m sorry maaam the cost will not exceed a penny. I no longer need your quack services. Your plumber said my drain was full of grease. I don’t use oil or grease and we don’t pour it down the sink. For obvious reasons. I’m not a plumber but I could see the pipe in my basement and the plug that the plumber could have went through to snake it. But that would have been to easy. When I told the nice lady on the phone that I no longer need their services. Because I was able to plunge the hell out of it myself. She hung up on me. That wasn’t very professional of you now was it. Well you guys have the day you deserve. And quit trying to take advantage of customers. Recommending services they don’t need. When you’re good at your job people will spread the word. And when you’re not good. They will spread that too.

My water heater was leaking and Carl’s plumbing was the first contractor to come through my home warranty. I was very nervous at first I looked the reviews but I decided to give them a chance.

Carl’s Plumbing was out with a day or two or two and told me addiction to my hot water heater I needed to pay an additional $600 to have a liner put in to be up to code in my chimney. Thank god they did not have the parts or I would have paid the fee right there and then.

I then called my home warranty and advised them I would like a second opinion. Oh I had another plumber come out and told me I did not need the liner. They advised me Carl’s Plumbing has a reputation in Southeastern, Wisconsin and be a very unethical crooked plumbing company.

Please look at there Google Reviews, Yelp Reviews and Better Business Reviews. Please if your reading this do yourself a favor and go with any other plumber in the area.

Carl's was assigned through our landlord's warranty service for abroken parts in bathtub. He was friendly and very professional. He first confirmed the broken parts, went out to buy replacement parts, came back, and fixed it quickly.

I have a home warranty and Carl's is always the first plumbing company to show up and they provide the worst service. So much so that I have requested that the home warranty block them from even being an option when I have a plumbing repair. This last encounter required them to come out and repair a shower faucet that they initially installed. The handle popped off and we couldn't turn the water on. They came out and put it back on and 2 days later it popped back off. They sent a different plumber out who told the tenant that it was stripped and he was going to have to order parts for the shower but in the meantime, he showed the tenant how to use some pliers to turn the water on and off and told him to do that until the parts come in. He then reported to the home warranty company that the faucet was stripped but not due to normal wear and tear so the home warranty refused to pay for the replacement of the faucet. This is the 3rd and final strike. Carl's is full of incompetent plumbers and I definitely do not recommend you use them for your plumbing needs. If zero stars was an option they would've definitely received it.

Our water heater broke at 8pm and we submitted our information to our home warranty service and received a call from Carl's Plumbing by 8am the next morning and they arrived within an hour! When our home warranty service said they would order a new water heater to be delivered to Carl's Plumbing in 3 days, I was slightly frustrated. However, I was then told that the technician brought a new water heater with him and it could be installed right away. By 11:15 we had it installed and up and running. It was a great, highly appreciated and refreshing experience!

I will update again after installation.
Update: They called to set appointment. 48 hours until install appointment. 8 days with no hot water is still too much, in my opinion.
We were assigned Carl's through our home warranty. Our water heater needs replacing. We did have to wait 1 day for hsa to approve the replacement. We've been without a water heater for 6 days. My husband called to follow up, he was told, they won't schedule an appointment until they have the water heater. We have 3 small children at home, and no hot water. With any other company,
we would have had it replaced same day, or next day. I understand they are busy, but they should have a pad in their schedule to allow for emergencies. We've also heard everything from, they have it stock, to it's in our warehouse. So, I'm not loving the lack of transparency. It's not like it's summer and I can throw my kids in the lake or pool to get them clean. Please consider any other plumber. -From a frustrated mom who needs hot water.

Carls plumbing have been assigned to fix our plumbing issues by our home warranty company for the past 6 or 7 years. Every plumbing job was done very well in a highly proficient manner. Today we had one of their staff named Tony to look into a sump pump issue. As the pump was tightly installed next to the dryer, we had to move the dryer so he can get to the pump, only to discover that the dryer vent pipe was worn out. He was so kind to help us fix the dryer issue even though this was not why we had him come over for. Thank you again Tony, we highly appreciate what you have done for us.

Came to fix a clogged sink. Fixed it quickly. Very professional and kind.

UPDATE: Carl’s plumbing services came out yesterday for another visit (unrelated to the first) to fix a broken and rusted tub faucet. The man who came to fix it was so nice and even with the challenges of an 1888 house, was able to fix everything! Another 5 star visit, would definitely recommend.

Chris came out to fix several gas leaks at my home. He did a 3 hr job in 15 minutes. Not only did he half-assed the job but he left me with a gas leak anyways. He took off the tape that was put there by WE energies and didn't fix the issue. This company will take your money. DO NOT USE!!!!

This was through my daughter's home warranty program. The warranty company had initially contracted with another business to replace her water heater but she kept playing phone tag with the guy for 2 1/2 days and finally asked the home warranty company if there was somebody else they used. They changed the work order to Carl's and within 20 minutes somebody had called to schedule the appointment. They came out the next day within the 2 hour window specified and got the work done. My husband was there to let Pat in since our daughter was at work. He said Pat was a hell of a nice guy and very thorough. Would definitely recommend!

My husband and I are elderly. When our warranty company sent us Carl's Plumbing to replace our water heater, we were worried who we would get. This afternoon, it is all done, and we have hot water again. I just had to tell everyone that the two men who came from Carl's Plumbing, Chris and Sam, they were wonderful. They came on time, they were very kind and caring, they kept us informed about everything they were doing, and they did a excellent job. We were very pleased with the finished job. We need a couple more things done in the future and now we can rest assure, by calling Carl's Plumbing, we know their competent and the job will get done efficiently. Many thanks to Chris and Sam for a job well done. Janice Anello

My home warranty company assigned Carl’s plumbing to repair a leaking pipe in August 2022. They allowed this project to drag on for months with very little communication. The city needed to remove a tree to access the water cutoff, I was under the impression that they contacted the city. After months of not hearing anything, I was told I needed to call to get the access cleared. From there it continued to go downhill. They then told me that I had to pay $100 for them to come back out to complete the work because they had already been to my house. When I asked for the document that I agreed to pay for additional visits, they called my warranty company stating that they couldn’t complete the work because they didn’t have access. Even though I called them to tell them the City completed what they needed to. They are rude, unorganized and unprofessional crooks that take advantage of people. What took my new plumber less than a day to complete, Carl’s plumbing had me waiting 5 months. Do not deal with them, request a new company immediately if going through your home warranty company.

We had Carl's assigned through our home warranty company to fix a leaking toilet. Our plumber T arrived on time, quickly diagnosed the problem (failed seal), and completed the repair in less than an hour. I would recommend them to anyone based on our experience. Thanks again T.

Had an issue with our tenant's water heater Thursday night, contacted our home warranty service Friday morning. We were assigned Carl's Plumbing for the job. After reading all the reviews on Google I became worried. We got a notification through our home warranty service a plumber would be out between 12pm-3pm. I had a very important commitment at 4pm and called Carl's Plumbing directly to see if they had anything early, they said they had an opening between 11am and 1pm so I was good with that. The plumber should up just after 1pm (which is reasonable since we pushed our scheduled time up). The Plumber took about 20 minutes to determine he could not fix the issue and would have to order parts and would not be able to complete the repair until about Monday or Tuesday. (Again this is reasonable since we were going into the weekend). Called on Monday to check for an update and we were told the parts had not arrived yet (Not everyone ships at the speed of Amazon...) again this is reasonable for me. Got the call Tuesday morning at 7:30am saying some one would be out between 8am-10am to complete the repair. The Plumber should up at 8am on the dot and the repair was completed within 30 minutes.

Most people are always willing to jump on a leave a bad review and not enough people leave good reviews when they received good service so I wanted to share my experience with Carl's Plumbing.

The last step will be waiting to see how we are billed from our home warranty service. Otherwise everything was done under realistic expectations and the job was completed. Everyone we talked to at Carl's Plumbing (receptionist and plumber) were polite, professional, and courteous.

I would have absolutely no issues using Carl's Plumbing again in the future.

Carl's was assigned through my home warranty for a kitchen sink leak that ended up in my basement. He showed up on time, explained everything he did and fixed it quickly without any issues. Definitely recommend calling if you're in need of a plumber.
