Rubin was efficient, friendly, and helpful in providing tips for the future for adequate maintenance and proper long-term care. Great employee and would recommend him!

Labor charge was criminally high. Took technician 15 minutes to install a $50 part and labor charge was $315. This was not disclosed when appointment made although I asked. If I declined the service, would have been on hook for $129 service call. Intend to file complaint with state consumer protection.

As far as he went on the dryer, fine, but the same order was also to fix the washer, which he did not do. Finally showed up for the washer a month later, ignoring three appointments THEY made in between. Now, with the dryer busted again...they don't call, they don't show up for the appointment THEY rescheduled AGAIN, they don't ANYTHING! They want a new contract? Yeah, right...

Joe came back today after his visit three days ago failed to stop our central Air Conditioning from leaking water through the drywall ceiling of our downstairs neighbor. No our furnace blower does not work and for the few minutes we had it on it produced a smell like something was burning. It is less than three years old and never made this odor before. The downstairs neighbor could smell it too and thought the building was on fire. I am stuck with Sears because they are owned by Choice Home Warranty and this is a warranty claim. I regret having to deal with either of these companies and would recommend staying clear of either one.

Our fridge that was less than 2 years old stopped cooling. Because it is under warranty, we were forced to go with their GE approved vendor, Sears. They couldn't come out to even look at the fridge for a week. Once they finally came, they ordered the parts (which showed up within a week) but the soonest they could schedule a tech to return was 3 weeks out. 4 weeks without a working fridge! And then the day of service, the window given is 8:00am-5:00pm. That size of a window is ridiculous. I'm out of town for work of course and my wife is waiting around all day with zero update. She only needs to leave the house for 20 minutes that day to pickup our children from school. Of course, that is when the tech arrives. Luckily, we were able to get our neighbor to come over but there was zero willingness to have the tech wait, or switch us with the next customer. This level of customer service all around is awful. I would love for someone high up at Sears to put themselves in our shoes and imagine you lose your fridge for 4 weeks, eating basically via fast food and coolers and tell me this entire experience is what they would feel is acceptable. No way
