the reason they only get 4 stars is because their follow up needs A LOT of work! I pay for a yearly maintenance plan where they are supposed to come twice a year to service my unit but they NEVER call us to schedule it, we always have to reach out to them and then we get tons of excuses! Don't want excuses just want you to deliver and contact us to do our maintenance each year. The main reason they get 4 stars and not less is because when their service technician did come he was AMAZING!! He cleaned my unit to where it is like brand new and even took the grate where my filter goes, out to his truck to wash it off really good! It was so refreshing to have a young man that takes pride in his work and did such a great job!!

We added 2 new HVAC systems to our home. Richard Electric installed both of them. They did a GREAT job! Barrett and his team are responsive, knowledgeable and trustworthy. They make recommendations as required and would never over-sell. Our experiences with Richard Electric have been outstanding! We highly recommend Richard Electric!!

Extremely responsive and courteous. They thought the issue was fixed with the first visit. We had another issue and they were out there the next morning and had us fixed. The office lady is so sweet. The technicians are respectful and knowledgeable. Will use them again.

Installed AC on new house. It does not work. They installed incompatible thermostat with system. They do not work 24 x 7. No working ac in house. Need to wait till Monday till someone will call back. BAD COMPANY. Look elsewhere. They left wires, empty boxes and trash. Three days and counting without AC on an epic failure of an hvac install. The compressor burned up because of no coolant (on a brand new house install). The person who is fixing the issue seems knowledgeable, but no urgency. Needed to run out and rent a window a/c unit. They could have at least gave us one to use while they fix their error.

I had a great experience with this company and Gerald was very helpful. We have HVAC replaced and switched from gas heat to electric.

Knowing we are their customer gives us peace of mind. We have immediate service , when needed. And we receive regular maintenance to insure optimum performance.

Richard Electric is very dependable and our go to company for our heating and cooling and electrical needs. Their workers are well trained and trustworthy, And a big plus is that they are a locally home owned business that we know will be here when we need them. You take for granted your cares until something changes and you need help asap. Home owned local businesses seem to always go the extra ten miles and do everything they are able, to help. And if they are not able, they direct you to who may be able to assist . We highly recommend Richard Electric. Been with them for close to forty years now and we won't leave them.

While changing an air intake filter I dropped the sheet metal grate and bent it. I tried to straighten it myself to no avail. I went to Richard’s company and asked to buy a new one. The receptionist took the one I had and took it to someone in the shop. They fixed it and I was able to put it back up. Great customer service.

Got a new HVAC unit. Installation crew was very polite and professional, cleaned up after themselves, and custom made a shroud to cover the new duct pipes and sealing the opening under my house to prevent critters from getting access to my crawl space.

We called Richard after our heat pump went out. The technician came out and examined our unit and determined it would be beneficial to replace it. We agreed and a team installed our new heat pump, they also checked our ductwork at our request and discovered some of our ducts weren't even connected to the vents. Everything was fixed and installed in a few hours and we are very happy with the outcome. Thank you Richard Electric.

They were at my house within 10 mins of my call. Found issue immediately and problem solved Jerry Baker was very professional. Charge reasonable.I will use them going forward.

Shoddy work. Takes the cheapest way out possible. Put in a unit in our new build and now 5 years later having to replace all duct work and put in new air return because it was done incorrectly. Confirmed with multiple other service providers. Subs for stone martin. And they cant be bothered to register your unit for warranty. If they had registed our unit when they should have we would have had a 10 year warranty. Because they didnt our compressor went out just outside the nonregistered warranty of 5 years. Avoid at all cost.

Richard Electric came to my house on 8/22/2025. They said nothing was mechanically wrong with the unit and then on 8/31/2025 it stopped working completely. Upon calling another company to come out and inspect it, they found a burnt wire, a dead blower motor, and a bad capacitor, along with a dirty interior coil (which Richard Electric charged me for). I will never use them again.

Richard Electric is top notch. I was in need of a new system. Everything was done in one day and everyone that I talked to was a solid professional. I will use them again in the future.

I just recently had a whole house, natural gas Generac generator installed. Gerald assisted me in ordering it, and Hunter was so professional during the installation. Every aspect of this purchase and installation was easy and professional. I also had them install 2 whole house surge protectors. I am happy I selected Richard Electric to do this; they made this project easy. Keep up the great work!
