Having to call someone to work on my AC or in this case heating unit is like going to the dentist to me! I dread it but once it's all over and done with your glad you went ahead and made that call!
John came in and went right to work! He diagnosed the problem within what seem like seconds! My heat wasn't turning on and all it turned out to be was a stuck exhaust fan blade! He got some lubricant and made the fan blades sound better and I'm pretty sure turning better!

Tyron is great. Both he and his son have worked on my house through Chad's A/C. Often he'd warn me when there would be smoke or an alarm go off, yet nothing did. Not only did he replace the coil that was causing the issue, but he was able to ensure the thermostat was functioning saving me even more money.

[Update on Jan 11 after talking to the owner] After speaking with Chad, the owner, I learned that the technician, John Walters, reported completing the job at my home at 11:26. However, I have video footage showing that he left at 10:37. The entire visit lasted about 37 minutes, and roughly 10 of those minutes were spent discussing the pricing—specifically whether the $99 deposit I had already paid would be deducted from the total.

I was informed that I will receive a reimbursement of $60, although it is unclear how long it will take for its system to be corrected. I hope this process will not take too long.

I will update my review once the reimbursement is issued. I do want to acknowledge that Chad took my concerns seriously, investigated the situation, and explained what happened—which is how I learned that John Walters had overcharged me and falsely reported his time.

I scheduled a dryer vent cleaning for a short, 6‑foot vent that goes straight from the downstairs laundry room to the outside wall. The inside vent was clean, but the exterior mesh was dusty — likely because I had installed a very dense mesh a few months ago. It took the technician about 15 minutes to remove it.

I had already paid a $99 deposit before the appointment, but the technician insisted that the total was $355 on top of the deposit, even after I explained that the $99 was part of the payment. After calling the office, they confirmed the correct total should be $345 including the deposit. The technician became upset and said the office staff “doesn’t know anything.”

I chose this company because of the positive reviews, but the pricing confusion and the technician’s unprofessional attitude left me feeling misled.

Chad's AC was more than accommodating. They came out, same day service, diagnosed the problem, and got me set up. Jacob the technician was so friendly and polite. There was no run around given at any point. I appreciate their expertise, kindness, speediness, and hard work on something I had dealt with for quite a few weeks.

Renewed my annual maintenance contract which includes A/C check in the spring and heating check in the fall plus other great benefits making it well worth the price paid annually. I've been a faithful Chad's customer for >24 years during which time I have had all of my duct work replaced, had 2 new heat pumps installed and had some service calls. I've always been treated with the utmost respect and charged fairly for all of the services performed. I would recommend Chad's A/C Direct to anyone!!

Chad’s AC Direct really took great care of us. We have a split unit with 2 thermostats. Needless to say my diagnosing the problem was tricky. Turns out there were multiple issues. John Walters came out to our house and absolutely took care of us. He checked all the dampers, adjusted the blower so the air would blow colder, and really took the time to listen to every concern we had. He double- and triple-checked things before he left and made sure we were happy with how everything was running.

He went above and beyond, and now our AC is blowing cold again and the house finally feels comfortable. I highly recommend John and Chad’s AC Direct to anyone needing honest, thorough air conditioning work.

Chad ‘s AC Direct provided Excellent Service from the Sale of the HVAC Unit, Scheduling of Install, Installation, and Follow-up.

Chad - Owner of Chad ‘s AC Direct arrived on time and greeted me at the curb where I was standing. Chad was polite offering to pull my garbage container back in the yard from the curb. I did politely decline the offer. At this greeting I was sure Chad was more just a regular technician or salesperson. Chad worked diligently in getting a HVAC Unit for my home that was at a cost that was affordable for my budget.
Chad assured me that it would be installed right away and it was scheduled as promised.

The technicians Colin and Tammy arrived on install day and introduced themselves and went straight to work. They worked quietly, professionally, and answered any questions that I might have asked. They were quite knowledgeable on the process and the equipment. The install was completed in less than 3 hours. Colin and Tammy were mindful to cleanup all trash from the installation.

The maintenance man was wonderful!! I just moved back into the home and payed $125 to get the unit checked and I was charged $89.00 and all he did was flipped the breaker switch outside I really feel that when you call in for maintenance. Someone should be there to tell you what possible things you can check for to be able to help save money is there a lot of people don’t have for something is simple is that.

Sonny was very professional, courteous,and knowledgeable of his product. Easy to do business with. Dustin and Tyron did a very good job with the installation of the new unit. I highly recommend Chad’s AC Direct and would call them again.

9/29/25 service call review- called to have HVAC thermostat checked, Tim was very prompt, courteous,professional and seemed very knowledgeable. He checked the system and replaced the thermostat and sealed an unused vet. Everyone that I’ve had contact with from Chad’s AC has been very courteous ,pretty and easy to do business with.
