What started as price shopping at Lowe's, turned into a great experience with our new plumbing and heating service provider! From start to finish Flowstar is one of the best repair companies I have worked with in the Anchorage area in over thirty years! They handled our warranty paperwork, explained and discussed every detail, were on time, charged what they quoted with no surprises, were professional and did not leave a mess. As an occupational safety trainer I do not recommend or endorse equipment or services unless I personally use and trust them. Flow Star has my trust and I recommend them to anyone looking for help with their plumbing and heating needs. My thanks to the entire Fliw Star team!

As owner of a property management company in Anchorage, I have used many plumbers over the years. There have been several companies that I have tried using exclusively over the years because they were doing a really good job. I found Flow Star Plumbing and Heating a few years ago when I was searching for a company because my regular plumber wasn’t available for an emergency job I needed done. I was so impressed that I never switched back! The plumbers and staff at Flow Star are amazing! They are extremely knowledgeable, reliable and make customer satisfaction a priority. I had no hot water and I called Flow Star. I was on a time crunch, I sold my house and was moving. I needed hot water. Flow Star serviced my boiler within two hours. I had hot water the same afternoon. I’ve dealt with other plumbing service companies in the Anchorage area for years, Flow Star is by far the best!.

Worked with me through a warranty claim, got it scheduled same day, and taken care of. The guy was super friendly and very efficient.

We were dealing with a heating issue during a stretch of cold weather and initially brought out a different HVAC company. Unfortunately, they gave what I believed to be an incorrect diagnosis, ordered expensive parts without our approval, and then expected us to pay for another appointment to have them installed. It was a frustrating and frankly ludicrous experience.

Thankfully, we called Flowstar Plumbing. Jerad, the technician who came out, was professional, courteous, and took the time to thoroughly explain everything. He confirmed that the previous diagnosis was off and got us back on track quickly and efficiently. You can tell Flowstar has seen this kind of situation before—and knows exactly how to handle it. We won’t be using anyone else from now on. Kurdel and his team are top-notch!

Definitely FIVE stars for Flow Star! I had two problems at two houses - a gas leak with my mom's boiler and a pin hole water leak inside my house walls. Both jobs done quickly and professionally with everything explained. Since the water leak was deep inside the wall, Jake even snapped a picture on his phone and showed me the problem. Hands down - THIS is the company to call! Thanks guys!

I just had Jared and Timo do a two day install on a heating system and they were great. I haven’t seen a couple of harder working guys in a long time. In this post-COVID day of companies generally not caring about customers Flow Star was a breath of fresh air for good price, on time, hard working reliability. I would use them for everything plumbing related.

I had 4 family members visiting and my water heater decided to stop! After having a great experience with this company the last time I had issues, I called them again.
It was another great experience. Someone came out on a Saturday at 4 pm to install a new water heater. The call out fee was very reasonable for a holiday weekend and they service was excellent. I can't recommend them enough!

Hill showed up to fix my leaking outside faucet, he was timely and had all the parts he needed to do the job. Very professional and courteous. He cleaned up his work area before he left. Job well done!! Thank you for fixing my faucet. Will call you again when I have a plumbing problem.

Marco was my service man .He called before he arrived, he was very professional and attentive. I am so happy with my service, he informed me of all the important things I needed to know for the safety of my family. My home is 21+ years old he let me know the status of my equipment and suggested his opinions and respectfully understood my needs and is getting me quotes. In short I am going to keep calling this company for all my plumbing and heating needs. I am now educated on what my HVAC needs .Thank you Flowstar!

I requested a quote through Lowe's and was please to schedule the visit for the next day. The owner came to provide the quote. He was very patient to explain what would be done and answered all the questions I had. The quote came in as promised first thing the next day and with itemized details. I was able to have my electric hot water heater installed a few hours after I finished the Lowe's paperwork online. From the quote to the installation, it was only about 24 hours. And the price is very reasonable. Much lower than another quote by another local business. I have to say - great satisfaction from start to finish!

Fast forward a year...

I notice there is a minor leak from the pipes above the hot water heater recently. It is just a few days passed the full year since the installation. I contacted the owner about the issue. A technician called to schedule the service in two hours and came to address the issue later that day. The service was performed professionally with no additional cost for me. The same technician has to come back for the follow up job later. He was very accommodating to my schedule. I had some questions after the follow-up service. The owner returned my call right away after he received my text.

I really appreciate the timely and professional customer service. They provide very reasonable priced and wonderful service. I will definitely have them for my future plumbing needs

The furnace went out over a holiday weekend—terrible timing. However, on the first day they were open, they sent someone out that afternoon and whammo—the heat was back on and hot showers all around. Huge thanks to Joe for getting everything up and running so quickly.

Joe & Tino did a great job installing a new combi unit, replacing a ~40 year old boiler and cleaning up what appeared to be DIY plumbing in a new-to-us fixer upper. Professional demeanor and hard working. They didn't even break for lunch. Their solder joints are cleaner than any others I've seen in the house. Not only is the new boiler quieter, the baseboard heat pipes don't creak as much as they used to.

Had a terrible water leak. The Flow Star plumber came right away and fixed it! Price was very fair. The best I've known, and I've lived in Anchorage for decades.

Jared, with assistance from Jim, installed a brand new Navien water heater for us over the course of 2 days. I cannot say enough about their work. Not only did they do the install, but a total redesign to make things more efficient. Inspection passed with flying colors and the inspector said this is one of the best installs he’s seen. Shout out to Jared. Amazing job, super nice guy and very professional. 10 out of 10 recommend.
