We had frozen pipes and they were so helpful making sure our pipes did not burst. They were the only ones we called that stuck with us and helped us with what we needed. Everyone else was too busy to care. McCann was busy too but knew we needed the help and asked us a ton of questions to make sure we did not get into more trouble with burst pipes. Thanks McCann. We will work with you again next time we need a plumber!

Circulation pump went out on our boiler, was able to get it fixed within 2 hours of our initial call. Very professional, courteous and knowledgeable. Highly recommend.

We woke up to a very warm house and called Don. He was involved on another job and suggested a few other names to call. Luckily he also suggested we call him back if we couldn’t find anyone. A couple hours later we called him again and he fit us in. Through conversation with my husband and a photo text they confirmed the issue and Don was able to bring the correct parts and replace the zone valve. A simple repair really, but we are very grateful for his professionalism and effort to fit us into his schedule.

A water line that's part of my heating system sprang a leak today. Called plumber after plumber and little luck until I got a Christmas Miracle when Don answered. He assured me he could come out today and today is Christmas Eve! He asked me to send pictures of the leak and guided me to turn off the valves to that part of the heating system to stop the water leak. Don arrived and true to his word, was quickly able to fix and identified why the pipe started leaking in the first place. Over the years, the opening on the cover was a tad too small and over the years rubbed against the pipe to cut through it. Don will be my new first call plumber. He earned a repeat customer today.

While others even local fellas had me waiting w/out heat, even as repeat customer. McCanns was recommended by a reputable professional in different trade.1st call to Don was answered immediately, he asked for photos, asked pertinent questions prior to his arrival & he came straight away during a season others told me 1mo wait even w/out heat in winter. Many will take your info & you’ll be waiting to find out for nothing! What is true about Don: he’s efficient, reliable & knows his profession! He explained/showed me what/where the problem on boiler was. Gave me 2 options about re-ordering old outdated part on my boiler(he’d come back & install Mon or switch part out now to updated model all plumbers have & he had already fixed my heat. This is what I want: problem/solution & preventative option future issue: given a choice! I’m a dedicated customer. I have had Don at my house for many different issues over the past 15 years for plumbing and boiler needs. He has always been efficient, helpful, punctual and reasonably priced. If he is out of town or can't fit me in quickly he will refer another plumber who has always been able to help. I highly recommend Don and his company.

We used other plumbers in Anchorage before trying McCann's P&H and I'm glad that we made the swap when we needed a plumber to replace a leaking relief valve on our water tank. He was very knowledgeable, friendly, and cared about getting the job done right. While replacing the relief valve he noticed that the expansion tank was full of water and also solved that issue. I couldn't recommend this company any higher and plan to use them for any future plumbing work.

If I could give Don 10 stars I would. I had an ignition issue with my Lennox boiler. I had been working with another company, which I won’t name here, but had weaponized incompetence. I gave Don a call, he answered while he was on vacation, described to him the issue and he diagnosed it over the phone. He even took the time to walk me through how to fix it myself. Incredible customer service, he will be the only guy I do work with from here on out.

I called McCann for a small, but important plumbing issue. I was impressed by their responsiveness and Don was out at my home the next day. The work was done fast and well. They were communicative and professional. Highly recommend!

I had an sudden leak in a water line in between the walls in my home. After calling numerous other plumbing contractors who were not available or wanted to charge exorbitant rates for an overtime call, I happened across McCann Plumbing's name and gave them a call. I'm so glad I did! Don was able to come to my house that afternoon and quickly fixed the problem. He was so pleasant to work with and obviously knows his stuff. I absolutely recommend him for any plumbing needs and will keep his number handy for the future. He was the hero of the day! Thank you Don!!

He answered all of my questions, completed additional repairs that I requested outside the original scope, and still finished the project ahead of schedule. The price of his work was reasonable and my new water heater is working great!

I called McCann because my furnace stopped circulating hot water to the rest of the house. I called and he was quick to respond and came over within in an hour. He was friendly and was able to quickly diagnose and repair the problem.
He also took time to talk to me about options for replacement of our older boiler. I am very happy this service.

My baseboard heater pipe froze on a Sunday. McCann was at my house within 2 hours fixing the pipe! He was knowledgeable, friendly, and efficient. His prices were very reasonable and I will be using him in the future! I highly recommend McCann!!

My hot water heater failed so I gave Don a call. He asked for some photos of my setup, gave me a reasonable quote, then got to work. Don was great to work with. He’s sharp, friendly, and very reasonable. Would recommend him to anyone.

Don is a Master Plumber. He goes right to work, fixes and services the Appliance in need. He spent a bunch of time here on my Heater and Water Heater and had them both up and purring.

Then he spent a bunch of time explaining what needs to be done to improve the systems going forward.

Very reasonable and Hard Working.

Don installed a new boiler for me after I worried that my 50-year old boiler didn't have much more remaining life. He is a breath of fresh air: his quick responsiveness, efficiency, knowledge, professionalism and kindness is second to none and his rates are reasonable. Don genuinely cares about his customers, is conscientious and his work is impeccable. I am so grateful my sister and brother-in-law recommend McCann Plumbing and Heating to me. Thank you, Don!
