My experience with Affirmative Air has been nothing less than 5+star. Starting with Chris, who evaluated my problem and offered solutions to Brian and Ian who performed my install professionally and timely. I am currently enjoying cool air, where previously I was sweating in a house that couldn't do better 85 degrees. If you need service or replacement done professionally and reasonably, I recommend Affirmative Air.

Affirmative Air was dispatched by my warranty company to address my heating issue. The tech sent was Chris. As it turns out, there were multiple issues that needed to be resolved. Parts needed to be ordered. Chris kept me up to date constantly. He went above and beyond to see a successful conclusion. Several visits took place and he was always on time and kept me informed at all times. I wish I could assign more stars.

Ian and Brian just left our home after changing the compressor on our A.C. Unit. Very professional and polite. They completed the job in less than 2 hrs. We were out A.C. for 6 days. Affirmative Air Conditioning came out and diagnosed the issue on Thursday and because of the weekend it took a while for my Warranty company to approve the work. The day it was approved Affirmative Air Conditioning called and stated they would be out the next day to complete the work. Great Job Thank you

Affirmative Air called first thing in the morning to schedule my service for later that same day. My technician (Chris) came out to my house right on schedule and fixed the AC unit efficiently and professionally. I’d recommend Affirmative Air and will remember to schedule with them again in the future!

I live in Scottsdale & I just had a new heat pump installed. I highly recommend them. Brian & Ian, who provided installation, were on time, knowledgeable, patient, & professional. The unit & the thermostat were installed quickly & without any issues. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience... Initially I got 4 separate quotes for the job, & Affirmative Air — highly recommended by my sister —gave us the best deal by far. Christian, who came out & provided the quote, far exceeded my expectations. He was also knowledgeable & professional, patiently answered all my questions, & never tried to hard sell me. I found Christian, Brian, Ian, & everybody I spoke to at their office to be super friendly, & genuinely interested in providing me with the best service, at the best price, with the best experience possible. I rate them with 5 stars & 2 very enthusiastic thumbs up!

DO NOT USE AFFIRMATIVE AIR. THEY WILL TAKE ADVANTAGE OF YOU!!! Please consider this review and do business elsewhere!

The technician (Chris - that everyone apparently raves about) comes out diagnoses an issue unrelated to my home warranty claim. An issue that costs over $1000 and did not fix the problem I was having with the sparking from the AC unit. Upon their third visit (1st diagnosis, 2nd visit costs $1000+, 3rd visit fixes issue) Affirmative Air comes back out and fixes the sparking issue within 20 minutes with a $20 part - COVERED BY THE WARRANTY!!! - which was the original reason for my home warranty claim. Affirmative Air never provided a work order from the first visit, nor a work order when they "fixed / replacement" a nonbroken part, nor when they fixed the $20 part.

Other than the sparking from the AC unit itself - my AC worked!!! If the TXV valve was faulty as I was sold - the AC unit wouldnt work. My AC unit worked FINE!!!

Please NEVER use or work with Affirmative Air.

Also, Mike the Manager/Owner - DOESNT CARE ABOUT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!

I called AMERICAN HOME SHEILD because I needed some work done on my AC back in late May. They assigned AFFIRMATIVE AIR to come out to fix a leak in my drain pan from my AC. They came out diagnosed the situation and said that they had to fabricate a new drain pan because mine was leaking and they don't make that particular one anymore. So after a few days they came back and installed the new pan. The Technician said this "should" work and don't think I have to do any adjustments to it. I took his word for it, then he proceeded to tape up the access panels with metal tape, and said this should hold everthing together and secure. Fast Forward Aug 21st I heard dripping again and I opened up my return intake vent that is right below where the "New" drain pan was installed and saw that my drywall and floor were completely soaked from the water dripping from the pan. I opened up the panel that they had taped up and saw that my drain pan was full and overflowing with water. So immediately I called AMERICAN HOME SHEILD and told them about my situation. They had a different AC company come out 4 days later on Aug 25th to check the situation out. Their technician said that whoever installed the drain pan did it incorrectly, it was not draining properly and should have had a condensation pump installed. So they put this all in writing in their report to AMERICAN HOME SHEILD and said they couldn't do the work because they didn't want to be liable for what Affirmative Air had done. So now I am coming into the holiday weekend with water still leaking that I am having to drain by hand. AMERICAN HOME SHEILD has tried to reach out to AFFIRMATIVE AIR to rectify their mistake for the past 3 days via email and calls and no answer. Now I am faced with the possibility of drywall damage, mold development and allergens related into the air. Having a wife with a compromised immune system makes it that more dangerous. Do the right thing AFFIRMATIVE AIR and don't let this escalate even further where we have to get the news involved! I would never ever use AFFIRMATIVE AIR again!

Efficient, Compassionately friendly and very Competent. I have used this company service over 12 years. In 2024, they replaced the 24 year old split system in our rental condo. The technicians were prompt, positive attitudes and patient to answer questions. I am confident of fair pricing and service. My personal residence was serviced spring and fall with a couple of warranty parts quickly obtained and replaced. I have never worked with anyone less than exceptional from this company. From my interactions in 2024, I salute Mike, Ashley, Chris and Daniel for all their assistance.

I have been using Affirmative Air since I have owned my home. They are great at keeping my unit running efficiently and contacting me for my twice yearly maintenance check ups. Chris, my technician, is very knowledgeable and will explain to you exactly what needs to be done repair wise and why. He is also very methodical and ensures everything is working correctly before he leaves.

Affirmative Air got me a quote for an install of a new 3-Ton unit on a Friday and beat out three other quotes I had. They had everything installed for me the following Tuesday in just a couple of hours, and did a fantastic job. Everyone I talked to was really friendly and always got back to me quickly. I had a bunch of questions, and they were super helpful and professional every time I called. Thank you!!! And a big shoutout to Ashley & Brian! You guys are awesome!!"

I’ve used this company a few times now, and they’ve consistently done a great job. The team is knowledgeable, professional, and always helpful. Chris was our technician for an AC tune-up, and we were so impressed that we called him again when one of our AC units stopped working. I had tried to troubleshoot the issue myself but couldn’t pinpoint the source. Chris came out, quickly diagnosed the problem, and got everything back up and running.
Although the fix was temporary, I really appreciate his honesty about the situation. It’s clear they care about doing the job right, and I look forward to working with them again.

Had a recent issue with my AC and the team at Affirmative Air took care of everything quickly. They had installed the part earlier this year and stood behind their work by fixing the problem at no cost. The techs were professional, communicative, and got my system running perfectly again. Really appreciate their honesty and customer service—highly recommend them!

Christian and Josh were amazing!!! They knew exactly what needed done and did it. Their customer service skills are top notch, and I'm not a easy customer .they didn't bs, abs I know a little about the trade, so that spoke of very high integrity. They go the extra mile. Of course, the first time we get to 100+ in AZ, we notice the A/C unit upstairs not working well. Josh and his team were readily available and is was so easy to book on-line! They were professional, helped explain the short term fix and long term fix in a way that made sense! I especially appreciate Kittrell is a locally owned company. I will use Kittrell Services for our A/C and heating needs every-time!

Josh was able to handle everything with perfection and all the new equipment is better installed. Kittrell Srvices has replaced an AC evaporative coil and water heater. In addition serviced both my ac units to get them running at their top performing level and replaced various plumbing fixtures. Fast response time and professional service. Thank you

Found a leak in my hallway closet caused by a leak from my air handler in my attic. Gave These guys a call and spoke with Josh. He was super responsive and talked me through what could be wrong and what he would do to fix the problem. Talked it out and set an appointment for 7 am the next morning. Josh and an additional tech showed up a few minutes early and went right to work and knocked it out in no time. Truly appreciated the honesty and professionalism. Loved using a small local company and will be using them again. 100% would recommend them to anyone.

Amazing service! Beyond friendly and came as a trustworthy referral from a family friend. I was told Josh would give me an honest quote and wouldn’t take advantage of being a single woman with AC issues. They were here within an hour of calling and my house was cooling down within the next hour. I was afraid to hear the total and to my surprise they fight kill me in the cost! He also gave me tips on how to ensure my home stays cool. It’s hard to find great service in 2020, thank you!

Josh (Owner/operator) was recommended to me and did not disappoint. After fighting with my home warranty company through August and September about fixing my a/c I finally gave up and decided to go out of pocket.

I had a complete system failure. Josh was prompt, professional, and extremely knowledgeable. He got the a/c in my house replaced and operational in one day (other companies quoted 3-5 weeks for parts).

What stood out about Josh was his quoting system. He gave a truly fair and transparent quote, multiple quotes actually.

He gave the baseline “Bandaid” pricing as option 1.

He gave the middle of the road replacement with highly rated equipment.

Finally, he gave the high end replacement option to take care of you for the next 20 years. Within that, there were 3 additional sub-quotes to truly put the customer in control of what they were spending.

Josh is kind, caring, and an Armed Services Veteran and I will use him for all my electric, HVAC, and plumbing work.

My A/C wasn’t working and only fan would turn on. I called Josh early in the morning and he was at my house within less than two hours. He fixed it very fast and even went above and beyond to tinker on extra problems the A/C had. He took his time to make sure everything was working, gave me advice on maintaining it myself. The price was great! Less than what I was expecting. Very nice and straight forward guy. I’ll definitely recommend his services to friends. Thank you Josh!

Thank you Kittrell services!! I needed routine maintenance done on my AC so they came out and did an amazing job!! They were on time, professional and honest!! I had debris in and all around my unit, they made everything look brand new again! I highly recommend Josh and his team!
