Pineapple Air installed my new AC unit a couple of months ago. They did an excellent job and I love my new AC!!

A couple of weeks after my AC was installed, John personally came out to do a quality check and make sure everything was working appropriately.

The Smart Thermostat they installed keeps me aware of any issues. Today, on a Sunday morning, I noticed my AC temperature was not where I had set the thermostat. I called John and he was there within an hour to fix it! The issue was just a loose wire. My AC is working wonderfully once again!!

I am very happy with the professional and responsive service John and his team provide!!

Even though I didn’t get to call them till around 330pm, JP (owner) came out that same night. He was very thorough in explaining all the issues with our unit & provided details of the reasonable options he could offer us. His customer service was top of the line & this is why we decided to go with them to get our new unit. Upon delivery & installation, his crew (Chino, Gunner & Christian) extended that same level of excellent customer service. We were blown away, from beginning to end. Even with some of the challenges we faced, they were here every step of the way to get it all squared away. We highly recommend them & will certainly use them again. am a veteran of the United States, Air Force and not receiving any kind of benefit for this review. We just moved into the Phoenix area from Pennsylvania and I am renting a house until we one to buy. One of the split units that was in my rental started to leak. The landlord called JP and he came early in the morning the next day. We had a conversation about split units and he explained to me in detail how they work and what maintenance needs to done yearly. I was very impressed with his knowledge and the way he explained it to me. The way he spoke, he wasn't trying to sell me anything. I felt like he was a friend and was explaining to me so I could understand and have the knowledge on how split units work. When I find my new home, JP and his company, Pineapple Air, will be servicing my heating and air-conditioning units. He is a true professional in the heating and cooling business. Nearly 3 years ago our AC failed on a Saturday. We had to scramble and find lodging and I called our warranty company. Of course, no one was available. When I did get someone to take my warranty call, I was told they could send someone out Friday. Meanwhile I’m paying for a hotel for us and boarding for our dogs. I decided to call Pineapple AC, primarily due to its Google ratings. I’m so glad I did. John, the owner, has taken tremendous care of us and our AC needs since that call. He had a new unit installed quickly and efficiently in less than ideal circumstances. I highly recommend this company.

JP came out and did some maintenance on my AC and I was incredibly pleased with the communication throughout the visit as well as the pricing. I was referred to Pineapple Air and I can see why, the reviews speak for themselves.

They came out and repaired a substandard installation done by a previous contractor referred by AHS (never again). John was very honest and up front with cost and labor, but he made sure we knew what we were paying for, which really helped lessen the blow. I would refer them to anyone who wants an honest contractor who does quality work!

A few years ago, I was pulling into a parking lot when I noticed the Pineapple Air van. I took notice because 1) I like pineapple and 2) as far as tropical fruits go, the pineapple mascot looked friendly and approachable (don’t believe me? Take a gander at a durian). I began to notice the Pineapple Air van(s) servicing businesses near me; I couldn’t drive three blocks before spotting a Pineapple Air van. These businesses knew something I did not; which is the fact that Pineapple Air should be your go-to HVAC contractor!

JP and his team are professional and trustworthy; there’s no upsell of a yearly maintenance contact or membership, just good old fashioned “here’s what we found, here’s what we recommend and here’s why we recommend it.” Their recommendations help extend the life of your unit and prevent it from malfunctioning at a most inopportune time (when it’s triple digits outside). Don’t wait to call JP and his team at Pineapple Air. But if you do wait until your HVAC is having issues, don’t despair. You will be well taken care of!

I saw 2 different companies who told me I needed to replace my unit at a very high cost. When I contacted JP, I explained my problem, he was very honest and told me that the issue was the coil. No need to replace my unit, and no need to pay to see where was the problem.
I recommend this company to anyone. I am a woman living on her own and many companies take advantage on that fact. JP was incredibly humble, professional and trustworthy and got the job done fast.

I don't write many company reviews, but I've used Pineapple Air twice now on two different homes, and I honestly can't say enough good things about them.
Both times they were extremely responsive, able to come within just a few hours after I first contacted them, and completed the repair work the same day and replacement work within 2 days, which are all wonderful.
However, what truly sets them apart is their people. It's so refreshing to know that companies with their level of integrity, work ethic, and customer service still exist! The owner J.P. and Chino and Christian who performed our most recent repairs are all some of the genuinely nicest and friendliest people that I've ever worked with. They all went out of their way to answer questions, give advice, explain what they were doing, and check in throughout the time they were here. On J.P.'s initial visit, after we decided that it made more sense to replace vs. repair our 10 year old system, he still made temporary repairs to our AC to carry us through until the full replacement could be completed two days later. Then, on the day of the install, Chino and Christian worked about 10 hours straight through to replace our entire AC/furnace system including reworking some of the system location/ductwork in our attic within one day. It was 113⁰ outside and 99⁰ in our house that day by the time they finished, so I can't even imagine how miserable it was in the attic, but they didn't stop until they knew it was done right.
I consider myself blessed to have found such a great company. Although I hope not to need them again soon, they will absolutely be my first choice if I ever do need any future HVAC work done, and I would 100% recommend them to anyone. My only regret is that I can't give them more than 5 stars, because this is one company that truly does deserve it.

Working with JP and his crew with Pineapple Air was everything I can say about having a positive experience. Professional but personal to customers. Is very accommodating and communicates well. I wish the business expanded to vehicle and property sales. I would buy anything from them and feel I was treated fairly and friendly! 😆

I was having trouble with my system keeping up with the Arizona heat. A few other AC companies tried to get me to buy a new system. JP offered a tune up and condenser cleaning that improved my systems performance without breaking the bank. When it’s time for a new system (which may be sooner than I think!) JP is definitely getting my business! Thanks for giving me options to choose from JP!!

Where Patrick Riley failed -- wanting to charge $4300 for an A/C fix -- JP and Pineapple Air Heating & Cooling succeeded at $1200. They are now my air conditioning repair and routine service company.

Pineapple air took GREAT care of us!!! We were in the market for a new AC, as ours was 16 years old, and spoke with several different companies in regards to our particular situation. Pineapple was responsive, took the time to look through our whole attic and see where the problems were. They gave us solid recommendations on other items we can fix, and installed an awesome new AC unit that works infinitely better than the old one. Price was great, and work was completed in a timely matter! Couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Chino, Gunnar, and Christian were awesome, truly pro installers! They even vacuumed and cleaned up for us!! And JP is a truly dedicated owner. He really cares about his clients and the product he puts out. Couldn’t be happier with the service and the brand new AC!

I couldn’t be more impressed with the service I received from Pineapple Air Heating and Cooling! When my AC compressor suddenly went out, I was originally in contact with another company that quoted a much higher price and said it could take a week or more to get the parts. Thankfully, I got in touch with JP!
